My Daily Bible Study Routine!  

They find it so odd I have received some really hateful messages. I know it's from Satan he is using these trolls to try to bring my down. Or worse of all trying to get me to stop spending so much time with God in His Holy Word. But...but Satan won't win... never ever. It's not odd to read God's Word we should all have more of a hunger for Gods word than we do for things of this world. Just as you have said here. I know my priorities are really jacked up...I have a lot of work to do and most of my bibles are in another state cuz I had to move suddenly. It is nothing for me to waste an entire day in front of the tv but over the last week I have started getting into my bible again. I had to order a study bible just to have one with me in SC and I have three art bibles (my husband pack lol).

I thought 10 hours that’s crazy 🙄 I had to check myself. I spend countless time online, and too much of it frivolous. She’s not crazy, I lack discipline and I’m glad I watched this video.

I too felt the same way about my Bible own collection. Just watch my 1st collection video 😊😉 But...but over time I've learned and prayed about it. God has taught me my collection is 100% ok for a reason: 1. It's the best thing anyone can collect. 2. I need a collection for the Platform & Purpose God has me on. 3. I grow wiser from every translations and every special style that each Bible offers. 4. With each Bible I use I learn something new and different and I focus on God and how I can apply His word into my life. 5. It's amazing going back through each Bible to see what you have learned and just how far you have grown. Being able to physically see it help's with you grow more comfortable & confident on your spiritual walk. Never pay any attention to what anyone else says to you about your Bible Collection. Just pray for them and ask God to open up their heart and mind to Him more. Plus you are not alone there's hundreds of us 😂🤣 we're just now coming out in way 📚✍📖♥️🎶🌌💞

I'm sure everyone enjoys what little time they can spare with God. But...but I always try to encourage others to spend more time in their bibles seeking out God than they do looking at their phones TVs etc. God's deserve all of our attention before anyone or anything else on this planet. Our relationship with Him will only be as strong as we build it up to be. God has never nor will He ever focus Himself on you.

Something it's easy to not even think about how much time we are spending on our phones or sitting there all numb watching TV for hours. Than by the time we do think about our bibles it's already too late our day it gone and we only have a few minutes before bed. Trust me this was my routine for a long time. Until I found a happy medium and now I know there is time for the Lord throughout my day. I wasn't replying to only your comment but anyone who feels like there day just runs away from them. Personally I don't know you so I can't say either way. But...but I do TRY to encourage whenever I can to just push a little bit harder for time with God. Doing this has really helped me on my Spiritual Journey and Gods moving mountains to bring blessing at my door and into my family life. Why wait? At the very least get a Bible app - there's a couple of great ones out there, and as well as being able to read them, you can highlight, make notes, compare different translations etc. The sooner you start the sooner you'll get to know more about God. I did my first in-depth Bible study this morning, with just two verses: Mark 6:5-6. Don't try and do a Bible Study starting from the beginning of the Bible, that task is too immense, instead find a verse or two that really speaks to you and then use that.

No it's no system just the next 10 chapters. I've heard of the system too just don't know too much about it

I continue reading through my Bible. I don't ever bounce around from verse to verse I read my with intention to read my Bible cover to cover and whenever I finish I just pick up another Bible in a different translation and start all over again. The only time I flip through my Bible is when I'm studying it.

Ohhhh yes of course whenever that happens I will close my bible take a hot shower asking God to remove all gloom and confusion from my bible. But instead fill my body with His Holy Spirit and I imagine a bright light coming into me filling me with the Lords wisdom and knowledge.. after the shower I say pray asking for renewed attention and a clear mind so I can fully understand what His Holy Word is trying to tell me. You have to do the same thing just like I do when I'm at work... working I don't feel all worn out & tried? Do you reallly think when I'm all hot & sweaty working in 104° sunny weather not to mention all sore from moving 16lb boxs all day. That the only thing I want to do is REST!? And this is all in a 10 to 12 hours shift... but we have to push ourselves through that. God has to be the first thing in your life. And if he sees you putting Him first above everything else sister He will make sure you have the time🤗 If you are still finding that things don't work out for you. Please make sure Not to forget "TO ASK" God for His Strength you can only do so much on your own the rest has to be from God. So before you start your Day you need to make sure He is Filling you up. Not IG or FB or emails... GOD PRESENTS!!! I suggest also getting the kids involved with your bible study time they will enjoy that as much as you. And if they don't want to well never push it on them and explain to them (this is mommy & Jesus time) I'm sure they have some kind electronic device they enjoy 👍😉 that's my mom did. All 6 kids knew when it was mommy and Jesus time let her worship. This right here should by you 15- 20 min. Than as you feed them and clean up the house have that bible open on a bible stand or have (YT read you the Bible outloud) as you go about your day. Kids should never stop anyone from seeking out God. I'm sorry but that Excuse I don't have time because I have kids can't work or this Excuse I don't read the OT because I can't understand it or it's not for me.... come on sister you know what I'm talking about we have heard them our whole lives. And we have to put a stop to all those old excuses you're responsible for your own spiritual walk and how dedicated of a disciple you want to be. Remember God will NEVER GIVE YOU MORE than you can handle! So don't you own Him so time of Praise & Worship 🙏💜✝️💜

Have you tried a Wide Margin bible? This way you won't feel like your doing something to the bible. Many of us have grown up listening to our parents tell us not to write and or highlight in our bibles because if would deface God's Holy Sacred Word. But...but that's just simply not the case. I understand be creative in a bible is not for everyone I get that we all have our own path to take. But what they didn't know some of us need to become active with the bible so we can better relate to it and really enjoy what we're trying to understand while we are reading it. I have to have a pen and paper by me all the time whenever I choose to do my daily reading because even than I find things I want to come back and study too. On my journey I've learned whenever I spend time in a bible marking it all up it's really hard for me to come back to through it and read it. I thought what I was doing was wrong because I didn't think the same way as before when I read it the first time. But no I was growing and blooming. I was learning more about the bible and God was transforming me. I didn't know it I didn't feel it. I still felt the same. But because I had a physical relationship with God right in my hands I could see that I was growing. Without my bibles being all marked up used and well loved well I would still be questioning rather or not if I was growing stronger wiser at all!! PLEASE DON'T THINK I AM TRYING TO TALK YOU INTO ANYTHING!!! I am only sharing my journey and what happened and works best for me. I get what you're saying, Miggie, and I used to be the same. But then I read something that changed my feelings on it. An author said he, and his fellow authors would rather see you highlight, make notes, underline sentences, passages etc., in their books, because it shows their book MEANT something to you. And if you still find it "wrong" to write in the book, use sticky notes, so that you can write something and stick it to the relevant page, but you haven't written on the page itself.

Lori Carroll, studying doesn’t need to cost a lot at all. There are so many ways, I use a Bible App called YouVersion or Bible Gateway.com. All versions available for free. A simple notebook to write notes. There are apps for commentaries and other reference material available for free. YouVersion has the ability to highlight in multiple colors. When I am just reading.....there is a difference between reading and studying, I read The Message version. It flows for me like a story. But it is not a good study version.

Also, if you want a physical Bible, the thrift stores and eBay are good places to check!

A big thing to check are the translations. Many people struggle with the King James Version (KJV), so if you're new to reading the Bible, I would suggest the New Living Translation (NLT) which is the one I use for day-to-day reading. Then I also have an English Standard Version (ESV) for my Study Bible. As Marina T says, also try the Bible App from YouVersion if you're happy to read on screen. As well as just reading, you can highlight passages, make notes, and it even has an audio version so you can listen to it when driving, doing exercise, etc.

I believe it can helpful at times especially during study time whenever you come across a word of places people and things you just don't know how to pronounce. Or listening to the bible being read to you as your cooking or doing the dishes etc. Taking care of the little ones giving him a bath folding clothes. This way there is no excuse why you can't find time to read the bible or heard it being read to you. However I don't believe this should be the ONLY WAY YOU READ YOUR BIBLE EITHER!!! Just because it's easier for you & your needs. There's something really special about the physical Bible in your relationship with God as she grow and use your Bible daily. Nothing can replace that.

If you're thinking about the Bible while you are at work, perhaps that is God giving you a nudge to find the time to read the Bible (Could you get up 30 minutes earlier and use that time to read?). Why not get a Bible App (like "The Bible" by YouVersion) which has an audio version of the Bible, then you can listen to it on your way to/from work.

Maybe you can buy a mini/compacts/pocket Bible?

The Bible with the strap, is the ESV version. Or the English Standard Bible. I have one also.

Like: wine bottles instead of wine skins Josh. 9:4,13; tables of stone instead of tablets of stone Exodus. 24:12; Jeremy the prophet instead of Jeremiah Matt 2:17; the wolf & the lamb instead of the lion & the lamb Is. 11:6 & matrix instead of womb Ex. 13:12. And there are hundreds more changes. I hope that you will look into these changes & let me know what you think. Ppl think that I’m making too big of a deal about this but it’s something to think about.

I still don't get it... different words same meaning. Such is ALL TRANSLATION including KJV because they were translated from Hebrew Aramaic and Greek as you know so technically the words you are referring too have also been changed 👍 keep that in mind
