My Thoughts on my May Makes & Sharing my June Plans!

I’m glad you hopped in to update us on Mariann’s skirt. I’m apparently too invested because when you were wrapping up the makes portion of the video I was thinking, “but what about the skirt?!” 😂 All of your makes are beautiful and I’m looking forward to June’s. The bag looks like a perfect weekend bag!

Beautiful makes once again, Izzy. My favourites have to be the Avenir, the matching set and of course, Marianne's gorgeous skirt. I am in absolute awe of how much you achieve in a month and still have time to work. I am retired so have most days to myself but I only managed two makes in May. Can't wait to see what you make with your BTPD fabric.🤩

The 2 jump suits look fabulous, but I know I don't have the fortitude so far to deal with one 😁 I make the two pieces that are a set... maybe one day . LOVE the matchy set, and the skirt for your daughter. I made my first lounge set this year, and at first hated it, till I realized I wore it every week, and couldn't wait to put it on after a tiring day 😂 Your lavender one is gorgeous.

Wow! You have been very busy this month! Wonderful additions for both you and your daughter! That bag is so exciting! Those colors are gorgeous! You will get so much use out it with the modifications you plan to make. My think pink box shipped on the 28th and I got it the 3rd in Kansas, USA, so I can’t complain about that! Love the theme this month.

I put you off the Raph Polo top didn't I 😂, it has disappeared from your plans 😂😂. It's a great pattern....honest! I wore my jumpsuit a couple of times on holiday and thought of you every time I visited the bathroom 😩. That sounds weird 🤣. Great plans and love everything you made in May of course xxx

I love the style f your bag and the fabrics you’ve got to make it work n. I Would use the darker fabric for the outside as I like wldnt show marks so asily.

So, I can't pick a favorite because they are all great, and the skirt for Marianne is fabulous - definitely a case where a fantastic fabric does the work! (well, after you do the work, that is 😄). I am looking forward to seeing what's next - you are, too, right 😁?!? As for me, didn't get any garments made in May but I wore a dress I made two years ago to my high school reunion last night which was very satisfying 😊.

My favorite May make is definitely the Avenir jumpsuit, it’s absolutely gorgeous 🙌🏻🙌🏻. I am looking forward to seeing your bag, the faux leather and the fabric combination are just perfect 🤩 🤩🤩. My box arrive today, but I haven’t opened it yet 😬😬🤣🤣.

Purple suit you so well

On Monday last week I got the email that my Think Pink parcel was shipped. On Wednesday it said it was in my country. On Friday it said it was being processed in my local post office. Since I was going to town anyway, and I knew I wouldn't get the parcel delivered until Monday, I thought I'd ask at the post office if I could just take the parcel home instead of waiting for it to be delivered. I was so excited because the first RU-vid unboxings were just showing up in my feed that day. For once, I would be the same as everyone else. It wasn't to be. My address is Wallacetown, and for some reason, they didn't look at the postal code and sent it to Wallaceburg, which is an hour away from me. Needless to say, I had to wait until Tuesday this week to get it. I thought that was a ridiculous error on behalf of Canada Post, since I have had letters returned to me for having forgotten to put on the postal code, to towns that there are no others that could ever be mixed up with them in Ontario, but they didn't even look at the postal code on my parcel, which was correct. Oh well. I absolutely love my box anyway, and since I get the largest size fabric, and there is a bit extra in the box too this month on top of that, I can squeeze a short sleeve shirt out for my husband as well as something nice for me. I got the midnight stroll colourway, which is perfect for my husband, and the second best colourway for me. So I'm happy.

Not only does one have to get half naked to go to the restroom, what does one do with all the fabric down by your feet? The thought of my clothing laying on the public restroom floor, stops me from making any kind of jumpsuit.

Love all your makes. I particularly love the jump suit and matchy set . I’m going to have to try the matchy set as I have some Rayon Challis from Minerva. Your plans are great and sooo ambitious. I do have a question which French Terry did you use from Minerva? Did you like it? I saw they had some Tubular ribbing that comes in many colors did you use that? I wonder since it’s also core range that the colors would match

where did you get the material for the Roseclaire blouse you're wearing? It's beautiful. Loved all the makes for May and can't wait to see the bag in June, plus the mystery box make (I think it's Pink Box, but not sure).
