Thanks for this 1year review! I just bought a pair last week & yes, these things have incredible bass and clarity! I even put a signal generator on them to see how low they can get audibly! I was really impressed at the shaking of my garage door lol! Get en now while the price is still low!

I also have two TS415s with a TS18s. TS415 is the full range two way speaker with the deepest bass I've heard, even my RCF 745 much more expensive can't sound that deep. For this price you can't find better, it sounds louder than the JBL Eon700 series which is more expensive.

@@NinoErrera well, a part from the size ( important thing depending on the way of transport you use) you will find the bass more pronounced in ts415. In terms of power theere is no significative difference. 2500W both models and in real life i dont feel big diference. Almost nothing. I would chosse 415 if you are not going to add subwofeer. For outside i would chosse 415. Actually I use a pair of of 415TS outdoor and its response is really good for an event 150 pax maximum. Regards

Hi, Is this true you can get xlr as input and then link that speaker with other Altos via blutooth link? If yes, what about the latency?

Clean sound? I would rather say lack of clean mids. Very bassy pretending subwoofers but not going deeper than 55Hz (and not going deeper 60-65Hz for 12inch). On rehearsals for vocals we had to set -12dB for bass on the mixer eq to have decent quality vocals.

There are some sound test videos in YT, where I was rather surprised about how clean the mid was.

@@taneltolsting2900 so you were listening to the sound/cabs with sound correction. I personally used ALTO cabs and they are incredibly boomy. Even Behringer DR112DSP sounds much better in term of mids just it is much quieter than ALTO. ALTO is very powerful but sound awful.

The bass is thumping, the treble is shining but why do the mids sound so drowned out? Like you can Hear em but theyre not prominent like the bass and treble are :/

Depends on preset, I have mine set to DJ mode which makes the mids less and accentuates the lows and highs, the standard setting keeps mids the original level u can EQ it via the app as well

I’ve used my Alto TS415’s in dj mode and the was so strong I had to cut it to around 10 o’clock on my Rane 7K2 and when I did those mids shined. In fact the band sound engineer had 2 EV’s with double 15’s in each and he came up to me and said those sound amazing lol. My set was equally as loud as his. Very impressive they are. I’ve left my QSC’s at home my last few gigs 😊 Alto all the way.

I use Alro TS415’s and they sound louder and better than my QSC CP12’s. I also have the Alto 412S Sub. Perfect for any venues. I’d recommend Alto first then QSC.

How do you turn up the bass?. I can't can't do it from the back of the speaker.. could you tell me how to do it from the alto app.! Please and thanks..

Hey! It unfortunately is not possible on the back of the speaker. You need to be in range and paired to Bluetooth on your phone with the speaker. From there go onto EQ settings. And adjust the lower frequency (for example 50-400hz) and raise it higher than the flat EQ it is currently at. If you need any further help or assistance please feel free to reach out!

I would like to buy those for a small club, would you recommend them in any way (I would connect them to an external mixer) Oh and one more thing? What version do you have? Do you have the 15 inch version?

are you able to wirelessly connect both speakers and have audio come from both of them by wiring into just one speaker with your laptop/dj deck?

Unfortunately you only have wireless connection from speaker to speaker when using Bluetooth

Hi. Very nice review. Can You tell us how often bluetooth connectivity issues are happening? Due to environmental conditions will not be able to wire 2 of them during garden parties.

Thank you very much for the feedback! I would say it only disconnects once or twice every use but with a simple on-off on the receiving unit you can get it back and running in a few seconds.

Can you use an electric guitar into effects pedals example chorus and booster pedal then into the Alto would love to know could this damage the PA ? I was told it could cant seem to get a straight answer something to do with different impedances thanks great review.

Providing you use the 1/4 trs input I can’t see why you would have any issues as it is there for exactly that reason connecting high impedance instruments

I don’t think there are any risks with adding pedals into the inputs taking that you are using the line input (no pre-amp). Shouldn’t be any problems. Thank you very much for your kindness! 🙌🏻

I think the most I had them playing one time was about 10 hours. Had them tuning no problem, no overheating, no quietening over time.

I’d recommend sticking to ALTO subs with these, alto has their nice TS__S series. For under 600 I think you could get their TS15S subs. Great piece of kit, deep rich signs, absolute amazing sub

In my perspective, you get a lot more fuller and cleaner sounds out of the ALTO, but it is up to preference

Would be a perfect combination with the TS18s. Can handle big gigs and also outdoor for about 400people from experience without distortion

Yes definitely. I use 2 TS408 with 2 BOSE SUB2's and I've done 250 kids in a basketball gym easy. I also have two TS412. 😎

If there are only two plugins, you could perfectly use the built in gains, as they have individual control, but for 2+ plugins I would recommend an external mixer for fine control. But it would be perfect for any band for venues

Ofcourse, you can connect them via Bluetooth or with the 1/4” Jack in the combined input.

You can find them on any website. I got mine from Pako. They are the official speaker sleeve for the TS415, you can find them for all ALTO products

The bass is clean, not overpowering, but not underwhelming. Gives out crystal clear sound

How do think these would perform with a small band in small to medium sized bars?

They will preform perfectly. Could handle about 300-500 people.

@@DJDannyDante thanks! I'm just starting out in a small band. I ask some suggestions, and get a lot of "advice" from people telling me to spend 5,000 for a PA. There's a lot of people that simply say these "budget brands" are all trash. but have never even tried. While I understand they may not perform like $5,000 speakers, it's very good to hear from someone who has actually used this.

@@scottmchugh1865no man, budget rigs comes with limitations but honestly, always limit yourself to the growing knowledge that you have until you expand beyond that - 😊
