Emma, to help with the slug problem you can make a moat for them. A plastic tray that holds water, a brick/stone in the middle and pop the seed tray on top. The slugs wont cross the water and will leave your plants alone. All the best Luke

Emma, like you I have struggled to get little seedlings from their pots to move them into bigger pots. I have found a way around this which might help you. Instead of using a tiny spatula, use the small wooden fork you can find in most super markets meal deal sections 😅 I have got plenty from there and now even have started to put the plant names on them. And when ready pot on, I use the fork to loosen the soil, hold the leaves and smoothly pull it out 😊 good luck

Love your videos Emma. I was told when potting on, to be careful not to handle the actual stem of the wee seedling as it damages the plant. Hold the seedling by the wee leaves. Good luck with the sunflowers- a fav of mine so will be watching your progress with these. I am down in NZ so am autumn seed sowing just now for our coming winter.🌻

I have the small colourful pots on my fence - last year I put petunias in them - this year I put winter flowering pansies in them - love tulips I have a few beautiful pots in front of my porch - just lifted the bulbs out and am planting summer bedding plants but slowly changing to bulbs which i can leave in permanently - much easier to just leave to themselves 🥀🌿🌷🌺 I have an out of control rose climber at the back which I've just cut right back it was really overtaking the place getting too big for it's boots 😆 I'm going to put something underneath - maybe forget-me-nots you've inspired me 🥀🌿🌷🌺 I live on the east coast (Whitby) so not sure if the sea air does actually affect what we can grow - we do get seagulls 🙄 but they're more interested in food than plants - I have lots of twittering birds in the hedges 🐦🐦🐦

Hi Emma. Lovely garden ❤. Just a thought regarding slugs in your greenhouse. If you place a tray on the shelf with some water in it. Add a small brick to the center of the tray, or 2 bricks to aid balance. Put your seedling pots on the bricks. The slugs won't cross the water to get to the bricks ,so can't get your seedlings x

I think you’re doing an amazing job with your garden ‘cause it’s already a shining pearl 👏🏻 Don’t know if someone already said it but when you get leggy seedlings it could help if you repot them into a deeper pot (or a plastic bottle) covering the most of the “leg” with soil. Happy gardening 😊🌼🐞

Hi, use copper slug tape around pots with seedlings. This should stop the buggers. As for the buxus, I think it's just new growth, mine is looking the same and wasn't under any attack last year. It's probably just fresh growth which will harden up and darken with time.

Seeing you use the shears on the grass paths and weeding in your previous allotment vlog, I was thinking of suggesting that you spend £3 on a kneeler pad from wilko, and now I find that you've got a posh kneeler, gratis from QVC.😀 I've had my kneeler pad for a couple of years, and my hot tip is not to remove the plastic wrapping that it comes in.

So I did the same, and put them in my little greenhouse outside, like yours but wooden… I looked the next day and they had completely wilted and died 😭 my partner left some in a little pot as ‘an experiment’ outside… and they seem to be doing better. Might have to bring them in, repot, and find a better windowsill 😂 fingers crossed us 🤞🏻🌻
