I enjoyed your video man. Your 3rd gen looks real good. This video popped up on my feed. Im also doing a build series. I have a 2002 tl type s that im reviving. I do all the work myself too. I have to say acuras are so awesome! Simple to work on and a timeless design.

I’ve been having power steering problems too. Replaced pump and noticed grease on the bearing where the pulley sits on so I returned it under warranty and got a new one. Only reason I knew it was going bad was because it made a noise when turning wheel to fully lock either side. Installed new one and is starting to make the same noise the one I returned was making. Thinking I should just go with an oem pump. Wasn’t trying to spend that much on a pump but might have to since these aftermarket pumps aren’t doing it for me.

I got a rear main seal leak that I don’t plan on fixing, just paying attention to oil levels. Gotta make this last till I buy a house lol

can i ask what axle brand u went with? Raxles or OEM? or possibly a different brand. wanting to do prevenative maitenance and change my axles (5 years owning the car this year).

I went with the Advance Auto special. Whatever brand they had in stock. I needed the car on the road ASAP

Yup. car is rusty. It's been a New England car all it's life. I don't know if I'm keeping the car for a long time, because the car needs a paint job also. Paint and body is $$$$
