Put the respawn bed behind a metal door with a button only on the outside so teammates have to stop what they're doing to get their partner back like in catastronauts. It would allow for the same victory conditions as that too, either your health runs out, or everyone is dead and can't get out of the spawn room!

Good idea, you could also have a button on the inside, but which loses life, so it's impossible to get locked in but there's a strong incentive to go help your partner!

When water is flowing down a block, it prioritizes that and can't spread left or right which is why your infinite water source didn't work.

This is right. Water sources are formed when two water sources flow into the same block, much like how lava and water don't interact until flows touch. When water is pathing one way to a ledge, then never flow together, and thus never touch to form a new source.

Honestly the game looks so fun a mini game version of TNT wars As for the water logged block issue the game can be very picky and at times you need to break the ice in one direction to the other If interested I can send you audio clips to use for the game ending kind of like a announcer of sorts declaring the game is over

The sourceblocks not forming is because they only form when the water tries to flow into the same block. So because both water sources could flow to the edge they didn't try and flow into the eachother so they didn't form a new source block. The easiest solution would have been to place sand at the end of the row so the water would try and spread and make sourceblocks and then the sand would be super easy to remove as its only purpose was to be a temp block)

holding a map in the offhand could be a feature rather than a bug. Effort to keep your "war room" maps updated would help you plan your next TNT trajectories. Could even have the war room maps be the base maps and have its copies lightly mixed into the droppers. That way you have to pick up multiple maps and hope it is one that helps you fight your opponents.

the water wont make an infinite water source because the water always takes the most direct path to go down one block (it will do a 1 wide water stream towards the closest drop). Therefore it wont flow to the side to make the infinte water scource. Also, the water in front of the missing source block stays there because the water beside it will "connect" to the existing water so it won't drain out. (sorry if this made no sense bc i tried ok)

IDEA: Tango, you could add walls of obsidian on the platform to make obstacles and/or rooms for players to go through ANOTHER IDEA: Each player has a water bucket which they can strategically place somewhere to block tnt on that spot, moving it around to try and defend incoming fire, (adds a little more chaos and strategy to the game)

And the water will push the tnt to it edge moving holes, but more importantly snowballs and basalt will also get pushed into the water below. You just need rules about not making any infinite sources and check that when water inevitably flows down into the collection tray that it doesn't mess anything up. (It shouldn't but better safe than sorry)

This would increase personal risk as if you are trying to catch the TNT with the water you will be closer to the TNT and likely to explode yourself. I think this is an awesome idea! Might need to think about death punishment?

Maybe more people playing the game will increase the tension on it's own, so keep that in mind while handling the rates. Also felt like a 3v3 or even a 4v4 won't be bad

maybe you can make it so that the player can regain health by submitting 16 snowballs or 16 basalt, so that the player can choose between reloading ammo or healing themselves

Suggestions: Have a little area next to or behind each ship with a one way door. If players die have them respawn there and if they fall down, have them bubble-vator up to that area. When they are in, the other person has to come over to them to open up the door from the outside (by method of your choice) to let them back into the game. You could even track deaths if you want to penalize them for that by having them have to drop an item into the system to open the door, but having to come over and spend your time to bust your partner out might be enough of a penalty allready.

Terrific game! I have a couple of ideas for you to consider :) 1. Add maps inside the aiming station so players can see their opponent's board and adjust their cannon appropriately. Also add maps outside the arena so that spectators can get a birds-eye view. 2. Instead of changing the cannons, have multiple cannons and add logic so that if the ammo is past a certain height, you get multibomb with multiple cannons firing at once for same amount of ammo. This can up the chaos and adds another strategic choice: add your snowballs as quickly as possible to keep the cannon going or store some up to get a barrage attack. And for the name of the game, how about "Charitable Detonation"?

Is Tango okay? Not sure Tango is okay.... He seems to have lost the ability to sentence. And he is about 30% more hyper than usual. I think this means the game is going to be good. That's usually what happens when Tango goes full sqirrel.

The water issue is because Mojang is trying to bring parity to both versions. This has been broken on Bedrock for a whilst. Enjoy it as much as I have!

Hey Tango, to make the game more chaotic and manic, what if you had tier levels of TNT disaster. For example, tier one is simply the cannon firing TNT. But at tier 2, after a larger amount of snowballs, TNT falls from the sky. Tier 3, more snowballs, another cannon from another side starts firing off.
