Beautiful tribute! I have loved Tom Petty since I was 14 or 15. I am 55 now and broke my heart for us to lose him.

The show did go on but I find myself wishing you would have stopped long enough to heal the pain and then still be with us today. Deeply missed and fondly remembered.

i am still in mourning. he wrote the soundtrack of my life. the death of no other celebrity/musician has affected me like Tom's passing. hearing his voice makes me tear up at the very least, but many times i weep. i got to see him in concert 3 times, and i am so thankful for that, but i swear, i feel like i have known him my whole life, and absolutely hate the idea (fact) of him not being in the world any more. thank you for posting this even though i have his Story Tellers on my play list, and i listen to it all the time, along with ever other recording i have of his. the world is a darker place without him.

I love the photos from the book. One of the reasons I became a Photographer is because of my love of documentary work. Photographs are the moments we cherish throughout life. With Tom gone, we still have him around in photos and hearing him in music. God bless.

Tom Petty was absolutely brilliant. He sang with so many different artists. Respected by all. The music of today most people don’t understand. I sure don’t. Kind of makes me 🤮🤮. Sorry. RIP Tom Petty. I can't figure out how you got this video edited together in just a day -- it looks like at least a week went into choosing and arranging and shooting the footage of your Petty collection (which is awesome and I am envious) and then mixing that in with the footage from the one concert you managed to get to (condolences on it being only one, but you're still one up on me). The way you made sure to move the camera around when filming the albums and the pages from the book made it feel like I was there with you, looking, where a still image or something shot from a tripod wouldn't have had the same feeling of immediacy and even intimacy. Thank you for making and sharing this; I'm sure that for many fans it was something they desperately needed back when the news was fresh, and that for even more it remains a comfort as our grief attenuates (but never leaves entirely)...

wow its amazing how many people loved more than just a musician. but i feel the same way about him. everyone feels like he knew thier soul. that he was thier friend. love love you tom missing you more andmore as i listen to your music i get to know him. he shared his soul with us.
