My Top 10 Atari 2600 Games

I agree,I had to write down a load of good games on paper and painstakingly eliminate some,to make things worse I feel the list could change over time as games gain and fall out of favor.What an classic and iconic console though :)

I did spend a lot of hours playing the adventure games you mentioned, as well as Superman, E.T. and PItfall! But I only won Raiders as an adult upon looking up the solution on the internet (I never shoveled the brown spot). Time spent isn't the only measure, as today's a new day, and would play other games if I turned on the Atari. So I'd replace Galaxians with Gorf, Riddle with Q*Bert, Haunted House with Centipede and Raiders with Moon Patrol. I don't have H.E.R.O., Mario Bros., Pitfall II, Popeye, Stargate, Star Trek, Star Wars and Tapper, so don't know how those would play. Honorable mention to Circus Atari, Super Breakout, Empire Strikes Back, River Raid, Enduro and Battlezone (or its Activision clone, Robot Tank, which I don't have).
