My top 10 safety blades 

in my humble den I have around 1500 blades and another 1000 to receive this month ( ebay, amazon , Italian barber, etc), the ones I have are : Personna red, Lord green, Lord red, Lord white-blue, Wilkinson sword, Feather, Voskhod ,Lobo , Dorco red, Dorco HQ, Dorco Prime, Derby blue, Astra , Rockwell and Treet orange, the onces I am going to recieve this month from Ebay, Amazon, Italian barber , etc are : Treet blue, Rapira, Vjohn, more Wilkinson sword, Gillette 365, Shark and Nacet, In my opinion and just what you are mentioning , it depends on the skin, the type of soap, the razor etc, the blades I like to use are : Lord ( all 3 ), wilkinson sword, Astra, Voskhod, Feather is very good but I have to use a very mild razor with it or adjust my adjustable razors in level 1, within a couple of weeks I will be able to test my new purchases , I do normaly 3 to 4 shaves with each blade, when the blade is very sharp , the first use will be with a adjustable razor in level 1 or 2, then the second shave in level 2 or 3, and the following shaves with rockwell 6C blade 2, merkur 34C, edwin jagger DE89, rockwell T1, etc etc , regards from mexico , robert

My top two DE blades are Feathers and Nacets. IMHO they are in a league of their own. Thanks for the nice vid.

I have one issue with Voskhod blades , Russians are not consistent with quality , you can buy a pack with crap quality .Personna are my favorite blades , they are a bit aggressive but not like Feathers and I like how they feel on my skin .

Awesome selection. My favorite sharp blades are Feather hi stainless, BIC chrome platinum, and Permasharp. Derby extra, derby premium are very good mild blades to use in more aggressive razors.

Personna Platinu Chrome is made in the same factory as Wilkinson blades. The only difference is the type of coating used.

Astra SP and Gillette Platinum

I just finished my second DE shave from my sampler pack. My first shave was with a Derby Extra...I wanted something a little less sharp. I just finished the 2nd shave with the Voskhod and it was much better than the Derby. I have a feeling it will be my go-to blade but I'll try others before ordering bulk. I Topped it off with some Aqua Velva and my wife will certainly be rewarding me for that! If and when I get better, I will certainly invest in better equipment but I'm happy for now just to get into DE shaving and experimenting.

Hi Alex. I'am from Portugal. Love The VosKhod Blades on The King C Gillette Razor Number one Blades for my Sensitive Skin.. The Frist Blades that i Like was Treet Platinum. The new Razor That I Have is The Parker Variant. Dont now The Treet Carbon, is Good for Sensitive Skin, and The Gillette Silver Blue? Thank You.

So far my number one razor blade is Feather; Derby on second place and Dorco on third. I really want to try Astra blades and Voskhod.

No particular order: Perma-sharp. Nacet. Gillette/Wilkinson sword. Gillette 365. Supermax blue diamond. Silver star(lord) Derby USTA. Lord platinum. Derby premium. Platinum lux.

Feather and Bic Chrome Platinum for me but what can I say I like them sharp.

5:38 in my experience, the first shave was one of the best but afterwards it became dull. I sticked to Astra and Treet Platinum

From my understanding, the Persona Platinums are formerly Israeli Reds. These are tied for first place with my Gillette Yellows. I bought 400 of these recently; I didn't want to be caught off guard as I was with the Israeli Reds. I have tried a lot of blades, and these two are the top of the food chain for me!

No. 1 blade I use is gillette nacet. 2nd shave with it is actually sharper and smoother than feather. 2nd choice is feather of course. Third would be dorco st300.

Im new, now using wilkinson sword blades, i can find in my city also gilette platinum i think...is gilette better than wilkinson sword classic blades?

Nice Video Alex. And good choices. Please try Astra green. Voskhod is my favourite, but Astra is not far behind. Voskhod gives me comfortable shaves, but Astra is smoother and lasts longer.

Very good blades (hard to rank) Gillette affiliation (silver blue , nacet, platinum , 7o'clock black-green-yellow) personna platinum (=crystal double edge) voskhod Feather hi stainless Treet carbonsteel dorco prime Smoothest blade is gillette 7o'clock black Most forgivable is personna Sharpest blade is feather The blade that feels the best is voshod.

What's a good double edge razor blade for beginners with sensitive skin?

I lot of want to use Gillette 7clock but my face skin does not love it! I try to find best combination because I like design of gilltte 7clock!
