Im not an Oilers fan. Just saw what I saw reg season and playoffs. Of course….. someone else could emerge but I wouldn’t be surprised at all if the Oils just dominate start to finish.
@@heathclark318 and what is that. I said if he comes back. That mean it has a chance of not happening. And either way it would be his last chance with the team
I'd swap Winnipeg for Vancouver. I think Vancouver really punched above their weight class last year and are set for a massive regression. I'd also not sleep on Utah, simply because they are not yet finished with off-season moves, I expect at least one more blockbuster. They have a shit ton of cap space, so they can take on a bad contract while prying away a great player.
Canucks were already good before they added Zadorov and Lindholm. Yes those two were major impacts in the playoffs, but those guys are easily replaceable. Adding DeBrusk, Heinen and Sherwood makes the Canucks forward core better, plus more annoying to play against. Aside from Hughes and Hronek, Canucks defence core is pretty big, which yet again will make this team annoying to play against.
vancouvers bottom 4 will be fine as long as they can stay healthy, all huge guys that are hard to play against and have great pk metrics. soucy forbort and myers have had their injury problems and forbort and desharnais have trouble moving the puck but the canucks are definitely playing moneypuck with these signings
I was high on Edmonton as cup favorites after free agency but the more I think about it the more I think they might regress. Imo the biggest reason they were able to break through this year was their increased commitment to team defense, and losing two of their better defensive forwards in Foegle and McCleod in exchange for offense only guys like Skinner and Arvidsson is confusing to me. The Skinner deal is great value but is it really a great fit when he's not going to get PP1 time and they were already at the top of the league in GF?
I don’t think any of toronto’s signings are gonna pay off well honestly, I see most or all of the defensemen they sign taking a step back. CAR: 9 TB: 10
You put Edmonton ahead of Florida? I assume you think that the extra offense will offset FLA's defense? I think the whole 3 game comeback has skewed things in terms of how good they actually are as a unit. Edmonton about to be let down again.
@@olgak57 lmao two finals is different then one you tool You don’t think their style wears their own bodies down? It ain’t a video game Wouldn’t be surprised if they get bounced in the 1st round against fresh teams in the East
