This is a stellar compilation! I love the diversity of film genres you've slected and showcased here, and the sound mixing and editing is very cool. There are some on this list I've not yet seen so I'll be sure ot watch those. And to your selection of WHIPLASH: yes!! That's one of the best movies I've ever seen. Some of these are my favorites too. I didn’t see any Akira Kurosawa films on your list. Did I miss them? Have you seen these films: A Face in the Crowd(1957) Ikiru(1952) any Kurosawa film really. Touch of Evil(1958) Man Facing Southeast(1986) The Quiet Earth(1985) The Thin Red Line(1998) Casualties of War(1989)
I will add all of these to my favorites. I recently viewed the film “Seven Samurai” which immediately rocketed onto my list, and Ikiru is absolutely one of my most anticipated. Thanks for the recommendations!
