Easy to see why you love those three ukuleles! My favorites are the tiny tenor I got from you at Strum in the Desert! What a wonderful time we had! My other two favorites are Kamaka Standard and 1920s Leonardo Nunes. I’ve been a fan of soprano scale ukuleles since my youth. That’s a long time ago. Thanks for all the wonderful content you produce! And thanks for your wonderful spirit!
Just want to thank you Bernadette for your tutorials, I originally started my child learning for homeschool, but now I am thoroughly enjoying to play myself.
Romero has a depth and presence - nearly a stadium effect of the bass notes with the crisp treble on top - speaking as an acoustic guitar teacher and performer - 'the other two' are also sweet and chimey with clean tops - but the Romero is in an entirely different league in terms of musical brilliance but at dramatically higher price - didn't feel this was fair to the other two
The tiny tenor has been on my "wish list" for a long time. Love the way that they sound. They all sound great. I find sound comparisons so helpful. Alex from the Southern Uke Store does them. They expose you to such useful information. Please do more of these. I like how you allow the ukes to "speak" as you play them and that you do both strum and finger picking on them in many of your demonstrations. I bought one of my favorite ukes because of one of your demonstrations / sound samples a few months back.
I'm new to ukulele. Played guitar and bass all my life. So it's really useful to see comparisons. I really like the Romero. Beautiful sound. Thank you!
I recently had the Enya EUC-MAD Concert Bernadette. I'm a beginner and I fell in love with Pepe's Tiny Tenor while listening to this video. Guess what I ordered yesterday? Shit, I think I'm already addicted😂 One is good... two is better!🥰 I don't choose, I liked all 3. But 2 ukes will be enough for now😊
They all sound amazing, but the Tiny Tenor is my favorite of those three. I have that one and the Enya. I have some other ukes that I also love. Sometimes a string change brings one of my instruments up higher on the list with a new sound. Strings are key!
So nice! I just discovered you and I’m binge watching! I started playing just with you now using my brothers ukulele. Thanks! Hope you make many more videos for us to learn
All three sound great, common problem on low priced instruments are the intonation and the materials they are made of. I think the Enya MAD is a good choice, you are right the price is affordable, and it sounds, thank you for the review.
Wow - I’m surprised to say it but the Enya MAD sounds the best to me (I own one too and it’s my favourite but I didn’t think it could possibly hold up to two much more expensive brands). 💖
I have a Amm3 which is fitted with a low g it sounds so good that I prefer it over my anuenue moonbird. If you can get an Amm3 then do not hesitate to buy it as you will not regret it 👍
Loved the AnueNue, I have a AnueNue UC10 with Uke Logic soft tension high G strings. Love these strings so much I now have them on 2 other Ukes. Thanks for sharing.
Hi ! By far, I prefer the aNueNue tenor, AMM. May be I could offer it to me, once 🤞 At this time, I play on a UC-10, but I can’t wait to get my first tenor in a few days, from the UK : Super Lani by aNueNue (again 😂) Kind regards from a huge daily fan of your inspiring videos, in France 🇫🇷. My heart loves the low G on the Romero, as well.
Hi Ms B, the Tiny Tenor is my fav but that's because it's a low G. I love a low G these days. My own personal favourite Uke's are a Kamoa Tenor and a KoAloha Concert both with low G. My favourite string combo is a Fremont Soloist Squeakless Wound Low G with the other strings being D'Addario Fluorocarbon. I see that you are coming to the UK in June!! Are you just doing a one stop or are you planning on visiting other cities? I am near Manchester. Quite a way from London.
I have one of the aNueNue mahogany amm3 and it is my go to ukulele. I have aNueNue clear water strings fitted to it along with a worth clear low g, it really does sound fantastic I have ukes that cost much more than this one but I don't know what it is about it but I lift it before any of the others and it would be the first id save too 👍🎼🎶🎵🤙
You know I heard there was a secret chord... I like the pineapple one, it sounded unique. The last one sounded really nice for a budget uke too. I've got an Ashton Tenor Uke and a Tribute Soprano Uke.
All three sound beautiful, I can see why you love them so much! This may be a question answered in another video, but what do you mean when you say you EQ the first two ukuleles? Is it a particular accessory you add to them?
Mainly play a Luna bass ukulele (also have a baritone uke), but got a little Kala concert uke in a recent sale and have been pondering learning bottleneck/slide style in a bluesy C7 tuning.
I think the favorite of what I have is my most expensive (bought used) is my Martin concert acacia signature collection. I put a low G on it and I go to it more than most. I also have to choose my Caramel (cheaper) baritone because I found the love for baritone. Thanks for the reviews on yours! 💜💜
Might depend on how people are listening to them I have good head phones on laptop and Enya really sings but live when you play it might sound different
I'd love to see a comparison between the euc-MAD and the euc-m6 from enya. I've watched individual videos but difficult to guage if its just a difference in looks or if there are differences in sound/playability aswell.
