I have a few Hruodlands and love them all. The turbine is just fantastic in my opinion. I did pick up this diver with the Brown dial last month. It is gorgeous!! It looks even better in person than the pics. A few draw backs but I couldn’t resist the price.

I'm very tempted to buy the Hruodland turbine, but with big lug2lug, I'm scared that it's gonna be too big for my 6.25 inch wrist :(

Great selection of watches but if I had to pick one watch in this round up. The Hroudland would be my choice. Sharp looking watch. The Seestern is quite nice too. Good stuff. Cheers!

Solid list man, I'm already selling some of my watches for the sale in March. Really looking into watches with no date or interesting new symmetric dials. Escapement Time has a new adventurine dial too but I still can't with that name, and also very much in love with my sugess moonphase.

Very interested to see the seestern, I've been tempted with this one, but Couldn't decide between the red dial or the cream enamel so can't wait for your reveiw. The hroudland looks ace, and to be honest good on that suide strap, but steer clear of coatings on glass when they chip (which it will) look awful, better with just straight glass. Cheers.

That Seastern wouldn't be a true GS homage without a 19 or 21mm lug width. 🤪

Cheers Brian! Really looking forward to seeing the Seestern. It was a choice of red or cream for me as well before I decided on cream. The Chameri looks very similar to the ET but with different dial options. As far as I know, the 2 are not connected. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍

I nearly pulled the trigger on the Tandorio Murph but nearly 4 weeks delivery was a no go. I ended up ordering the sterile silver dial khaki version.

Great video loads of choice. Can i ask how you find the tax treatment of ali watches over £145 as it doesnt seem to be deducted and reflected in the price so im unsure of how to calculate and pay tax or any import duties. ?

I just mention the basic prices in my videos, as both AliExpress and RU-vid are international, so any tax will vary from country to country. Thanks for watching 👍👍

It's a phone, not a watch, but I have spent over 145 pounds at Ali. No tax was charged on that occasion. However, tariffs vary widely from country to country. From the reviews I've read, Brazil seems to have a large tariff on items. If you live in the UK, a Google search for "UK Global tariffs" might help you.

That GS GMT lookalike looks the business but I wish Ali brands would have a go with the Miyota traveller movement. I've just ordered the Tisell Miyota GMT from their Korean site (pre Ali they were hot for selling Explorer and Sub lookalikes) and it should come in under £300 even if I get hammered with import taxes. I'm sure I saw a Watchdives offering similar to the Hroudland diver with better specs. It was cheaper too Thanks for the video.

I have thr chameri. The text on the dial isnt great and the strap is poor but for this sort of money i would say go for it. Those new dial options look interesting.

What differentiates the 2, 3 hundred pound aliexpress watches from the circa £30-60 ones?

That's a good question. I guess the same question could apply to any watches e.g. what makes a £2K Seiko better than a £250 one? Usually, on AliEx, it's the quality of the metal finishing on the case and bracelet, as well as on the dial and hands. There are still a few gems on AliExpress though, for less than £100. @@TimeForAnotherWatch yes I just picked up the San Martin GMT Black Bay homage after watching your video paired with a blue suede band with red stitching on a dual deployant from Allie and the new Pagani Zulu Time homage. One convinced me I'm definitely not buying a Tudor (a bit sterile for $4k) and the other I would definitely go for at second hand rates. That's what I like about this hobby you get a feel for what having the original might be like and with watch theft on the rise you aren't stressing about uninsured liability.

I think the Pagani is a homage to a Patek, tho Im not 100% on that. It is really beautiful tho tho some slight strange things with the indices under the chrono subdials.

I always like your videos, but as someone else commented, some of these watches are getting beyond my price range. I would like to see you review some of the cheaper watches, for example the Steeldive SD 1957 or the SD 1994. Keep up the good work, your videos are always interesting.

Ho ordinato il Dragone San Martin il 9/1 praticamente in prevendita, dovrei riceverlo suppongo alla fine di questo mese. Il modello con quadrante in pietra naturale è molto attraente, valuterò con la prossima vendita di marzo, la mia unica perplessità è rappresentata dal fatto che sarebbe l' ennesimo nh34. Non è un problema questo ma, vedremo a marzo. Tandorio per quanto riguarda i fligher Watch è un punto di riferimento, ne avrò acquistati una mezza dozzina se non più, per me e per altri e sono una certezza. I Pagani non mi interessano più neanche a 20€...ed i quarzo in generale. Certamente il G.S. di Sugess/ Seestern merita ma, non è esattamente il mio genere. Ho acquistato da Sugess il cronografo 1963 e devo dire che è un vero vero vero orologio, la sensazione di appagamento che regala ai sensi è impareggiabile.

Why….(WHY???😭😭😭😭) VK-63?.? For the same manufacturing cost you can buy a VK-67. WORTHLESS 24 hr dial vs VK-67_ “So whut ?” says the peanut gallery. How about a 12 hour totalizer that is life or death to a pilot……..and most appreciated by your Mrs. while she makes a delicious Turkey dinner for Thanksgiving :-) ? Fine vid. Please tell ALL manufacturers “Go ahead, try and make a REAL chronograph.😊
