One I've learned of recently is Barbarians of the Ruined Earth, which is basically Thundarr the Barbarian, the rpg. It looks pretty good at evoking that world or something like it. I had a DragonBall rpg long ago. Never played it, but it was fairly compact and seemed like it might be fun. Long ago, I discovered TMNT as an rpg based on a dark indie comic, before it was cartoon-ified for kids, but when that happened, it sort of spoiled any chance I might have had of playing it with my college age group. I'd like to see an Animaniacs rpg or maybe a Powerpuff GIrls one.
Another suggestion might be Hong Kong Phooey. Bringing back West End’s Ghostbusters (based in part on The Real Ghostbusters). Just reprint it. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and other strangeness might have been a messy game - it’s been a long time since I read it - but I LOVE BEING a TURTLE! I collected the original (b&w) comics - and collected a recent run as well. Would love for someone would bring the TMNT world back!
