Fight My Way is one of my all time favorites. I enjoyed PSJ's chemistry with Kim Ji-Won dare I say more than with Park Min-Young in What's Wrong with Secretary Kim

1 Reply 1988( I watched it so many times and I don’t get sick of it, never!) 2 The Penthouse: Life in war. (2020 drama which made me forget all the dreams released on 2020) 3 Sky Castle. (One of the most epic dramas ever!!) 4 My Mister (Just love the drama soo much, IU elevated to new heights as an actor through this drama) 5 It’s okay that’s love (the story is just soo good, awareness on mental health issue. Love it, a tear jerker) Honorable mention: “Pinocchio” the story is amazing “I hear your voice”, the characters are soooo well played esp the antagonist. He gave me goosebumps everytime he appeared on screen. WFKBJ: just light hearted and funny, can watch it mutiple times without getting bored. Romantic Doctor Kim s2 Love Love Love medical dramas and this didn’t fail me as well Been watching kdramas for as long as I remember so I tend to go towards dark and more serious dramas rather then romance or bubble gum pop kinda dramas but there are some exceptions 😉

Coffee Prince is pretty much the only K-drama from the 2010’s that I still watch from time to time. I can’t rewatch any of the other K-dramas from that time period because the cringe is just too much for me to handle lol. 😂

1. Crash Landing on You - First kdrama I've watched in over 10+ years and it got me hooked onto kdrama for 2020. Loved Son Ye Jin and her eye smile. It is clear to say love has no boundaries and really made me think of Koreans in North Korea. People are all the same and we all share the same struggles in life. 2. My Mister - This kdrama is probably the most realistic and made me reflect alot on my life. From being kind, hardships in life, relationships, career, importance of family, community and helping others. Definitely had the most profound impact for me. It's a deep and emotional series, not for all. Worth a watch. 3. Itaewon Class - Park Seo Joon played his character really well. Kdrama filled with lessons from motivation, friendships, lifting people around you, sticking to your principles but also knowing when to compromise. Great OST 4. Start Up - Big fans of Bae Suzy & Nam Jo Hyuk. Their acting has improved heaps of the years from other old series I've watched. I didn't get too caught up on the love triangle like others. Really enjoyed the Samsan Tech boy scenes, cinematography and soundtrack. Probably best OST of the year. It taught me two things take risks in life and don't wait for opportunities, create them! 5. It's ok Not to Be ok - What else can I say. It highlighted the importance of mental health especially in this day age where everyone is judged. Should not be ashamed of who you are or hide it from the world. Great cast as well. Honorable mentions to When the Cameilla Blooms, Misaeng & Flower of Evil. Wrapping up 2020, I'm not sure if all kdramas is this good but WOW 2020 delivered. Feels like everything released in the past 2 years has been amazing. Glad to see Korean films and TV getting more exposure around the world. I'm happy to be part of the kdrama community. Final note - Great videos and keep up the awesome work. I enjoyed your start up reviews and analysis. All the best for 2021.

Cute intro. I can't help but talk about goblin. I agree with you on the ending- it fits perfectly, it's bittersweet but anyone other ending would have been a cop out. Also love fight for my way, coffee prince and search www - they are great.

Urgent recommendation if ur a kdrama enthusiast, Coffee prince is by far the best classic we've, it was legit ahead of it's time . I just loved that drama

I started my Kdrama journey in 2009 when i was 9 and *Boys over flowers* was my first ever Kdrama and that was the last Kdrama i watched since then. Then come 2020, I'm 20 years old and as of August this year i made the dive back into Kdrama's with 10 whole years of Kdrama content to watch. If I've counted correctly I've legit watched 21 dramas since August and is soon to grow. So despite Boys over flowers not being in my Top 5 it'll always hold a special place with me with all of its cringeworthy glory😂 Beware My List is literally just *Jung Hae-in* the man is just a gem of an actor lol. (He's going to be the male lead with Kim Ji-soo from BLACKPINK as female lead in the upcoming drama thats currently filming its called *SNOWDROP* ugh I'm so excited) Most of these are Melodrama's. I prefer a more Ultra-realistic take on Romances so i can fully immerse myself into their situation because these situations happen in real life as well so naturally these drama are considered "Slow" but still these are GREAT. 1. *A Piece of your mind* This drama i consider to be my favourite so far. This drama is about Healing through emotional connection. The chemistry/love between the Jung Hae-in and Cha Soobin is just SO P.U.R.E i can't even get over it and it has a satisfying ending. OST is also probably my favourite. Its a shame the show's episodes got cutdown from 16 to 12 because of low ratings but it still ended so satisfyingly lol. 2 & 3. *One Spring Night / Something in the Rain* I can't seem to pick which one is better so I'll just put these 2 together since they're both made by the same director and has largely the same cast ... The story of these 2 drama's are almost identical in that a romance sparks between 2 people that is then heavily critised by those around them. Both these Dramas tackle heavy Korean Social Taboos in a direct and heartbreaking way. One Spring Night has the better overall satisfying story along with a great cast but In Something in the Rain, the romance is to die for😂. Both have Jung Hae-in as the male lead and he kills it. 4. *Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo* This is the only Light-hearted "Cartoony" Kdrama I'd put on my list. The lead actress Lee Sung Kyung is phenomenal in her role she's so funny😂. This show probably has my favourite cast chemistry as well. 5. *Suspious partner* Just overall great Cast chemistry. A great story of intrigue and suspense Just a quick FYI if any of you are interested in Jung Hae-in and plan to watch his Kdrama's watch them in this order: 1st: Something in the rain 2nd: One Spring Night 3rd: Tune in for love (its a film on netflix that has Jung Hae-in as Male Lead and Kim Go-eun as the female lead!) 4th: A Piece of your mind

In no particular order, I love these fully from start to finish Because this life is my first- consistent story,only one minor blip in ep 15, has my favorite quotes. Suspicious partner- cutest, good story, plot twist was 👏👏👏, ji chang wook's best drama (imo) Catch the ghost- aaaaah the chemistry was 🔥🔥🔥. Made me fall for seonho as well as the leading actress. I wanna see them more in the future Honorable mentions:It makes me sad because until ep 10 start up was going to join the list but the story forced itself too much after ep 10 for me to like it anymore. If they nailed it, I'd have rewatched it once every year because it had superb acting on all parts, nailed the visuals and the audio. Too bad the storyline fell apart. Kill me heal me: the actress makes my ears bleed. But everything else 💯 I guess I'm very picky with what I put on my all time favorite list

Love the new intro animation. I think you're my KDrama guru as have only got into it this year and have only watched 7 so by default my top 5 are: 5. Itaewaon Class; 4. Designated Survivor 60 Days; 3. Start Up (even though I was the most emotionally invested in it); 2: CLOY; 1. It's Okay to not be Okay The other two were Do Do Sol Sol La La Sol - so lovely until the last 10 mins - Is it Love? Which was really enjoyable in a switch of your brain kind of way.

There are a lot of really good suggestions in the comments below. I agree with quite a few, e.g. Crash Landing, My Mister, Its OK to not be OK. All excellent. Here are a few that I did not see mentioned: 1) One Spring Night - Terrific love story. An atypical drama that focuses on single parent pressures and domestic violence. 2) Romace is a Bonus Book - I really enjoyed the interaction of all the characters. Love Ms. Go. It a terrific story or recovery, redemption and romance. 3) The Smile has left Your Eyes - Just heartbreaking with many twist and turns. Tragic story of protecting family from their learning about their past.

I think my top 5 (in no particular order) are It's okay to not be okay, (the chemistry!!!) Crash landing on you, Itaewon class (both of these brought me the type of joy I got watching Great Disney movies as a kid, and so, honestly very grateful to experience that kind of joy in my 20s lol), my mister (a flippinnggg masterpiece! Ugh), and Kingdom - I am mostly such a sucker for a love story, in an interesting context, with elements of different genres - but Kingdom is in there, cos I watched the 2 seasons in like 2 days as the cinematography and storytelling was incredible,a 2 day binge sprint didn't feel fast enough lol 😭😭 and my mister was so deliciously melancholic and heartbreaking, ughhh my proper awakening to the beauty in a good gritty slice of life, healing melodrama. Honourable mentions to Suspicious Partner, Healer (Ji Chan Wook was Def my first crush after watching kdramas for the first time lol) and hello my twenties! And Romance is a bonus book (the first kdrama I somewhat fell in love with!) at this point, I should have just done a top 10 😭😂 Definitely need to watch Reply 1988! And you know what, Search:www was also beautifully done with a stunning OST to match the amazing cinematography. This "top _" is clearly to difficult for me 😂 P.s. - your videos are so great! Literally feels like speaking/ watching with a friend with great taste!

Nice list. For me: 1. Signal 2. Goblin 3. My Mister 4. Misaeng 5. Winter Sonata (in the list because the drama started it all) A couple of notes: 1. Kim Go Eun was brilliant on Goblin but she didn't get enough recognition for it. The cry at the end of ep13 was enough to win her an oscar. 2. I would have preferred Mr Sunshine to end at around ep12-13 when they rode off to the beach. It would have been a perfect love story. But of course as a historical piece the rest of the history had to happen. I'm still pissed to the fate of the four supporting casts though. I loved them to bits. p/s - I'm still waiting if you would react to Younha's Sleepless M V featuring Kim Seon Ho

I loved Mr. Sunshine as well. I'm a sucker for historical dramas such as that and Nokdu Flower. Besides those I loved Dr. Romantic, both seasons. Those plus Shining Inheritance and Dong-Yi would be my top 5. There's a channel on here called The Frog Outside the Well, it's run by a former Harvard Korean studies professor named Dr. Mark Peterson. I think he knows more about Korea than at least 90 percent of Koreans. Most Koreans especially those who were educated in Korea think of the country as a small country stuck between Japan and China that's had tumultuous history. But he would argue the opposite. If you actually listen to him, he's absolutely right. The country certainly had tragic history during most of the last century but if you look at Korean Dynasties in the last 2000 years, they all lasted 500 years or more which he says is a sign of peaceful history. He also says Korea is not a small country anymore. Nobody thinks of France, Germany or the UK as small countries and if you compare S. Korea to those Euro countries now, it's very much comparable. Anyway I've learned a lot from him in the last few months. I think the best/most interesting Kdramas right now is Cheat on me if You Can and Mr. Queen.

My top 7 ❤️ 1.goblin (10/10 all about this drama is perfect💥💥💥 the cast,story, all is Soooo good,i already watched this 3 times) 2.Crash landing on you(i bet you'll fall in love with Thiss 🙏🙏🙏🙏) 3.pinocchio(this one is so good but a little bit 🤏 Old fashioned 😂) 4.coffee prince(old but gold🤍🤍🤍🤍I really think this is the only early 2000's drama that's still really good to watch 👍(10/10 💥)) 5.when the Camillea is bloom This is so heartwarming i cried so much,laughed,i really loveeee all the feeling i got when i watched this) 6.Itaewon class(the storyline is really motivate me to be more productive haha) 7.descendants of the sun(this one is actually really great but i don't know why i can't watch this Twice when everyone said they can watch this over and over again hahaha,but still really recomend you to watch this 👍)

I recently just got back into watching kdramas since the pandemic took over the world but I used to watch them all the time when I was younger. Anyway my top5 on top of my head would be: 1. PBIO 👑 2. My Girl- I still watch this 2005 romcom from time to time. Lee Dong Wook was so young back then and his chemistry with Lee Da Hae is top tier for me. I even watched their follow up team up-Hotel King even if it was kinda long and...dragging. Lee Joong Gi was also in My Girl btw. :) 3. Crash Landing On You- it was the springboard for my renaissance with kdramas. Also, Son Ye Jin is always spectacular. 4. Goong (Princess Hours)- I know a lot of people didn't like this series but I did. I still do. 5. Full House- Song Hye Kyo and Rain were so cute here.
