I have heard of the out of bounds galaxy pools which look awesome in videos, but haven't gone there myself so I didn't include it in this video (I can't sparrow fly well enough to get there)
The route to the shard before it is pretty fun too. You can at least experience the pull that leads to pools from there. I've still not gone under my own power yet. I'm not quite consistent enough on infinite sparrow flying...
Glad to see the Dreaming City ascendant challenges on the list. Well of Flame is another one of my favorites, though the inner part is just open now. Still fun to climb up. I'm also pretty fond of the out of map to get into the Lightblade strike from patrol. Gives a bunch of nice views, plus, for some reason, a purple butterfly room? Well, probably moths. But still relaxing.
I kinda like how many out of bounds places Destiny has. Part of what I loved doing back in the Halo series was finding places to get out of the map. Cool that there's multiple places to get out in the Dreaming City though.
An out of bounds route that is actually useful in regular gameplay is right after the entrance encounter in the lake of shadows. If you jump off your sparrow into the gate on the left side of the stairs that lead down to the bridge section you can get out of the map then find the skylight that is above the room with the waterfall and get back in by sliding into it. This lets you skip the bridge section entirely.
In seraph station, if you jumped from the ketch directly to the part that you come back to the inside(in the upper part had a big hole to go back inside in OOB) you could use weapons, skate and other things to traverse in there, and even go to the outer ring I'd love to see seraph station come back, it was a good mission
From the DSC crypt sec oob you can also get to the space parkour area and used to be able to get into both Atraks boss rooms and Descent from there. I think you still can but it's much harder. From that point you can also run all the way down the tunnel that Taniks chases you down without getting joining allies
For me, the stand diving board in the dreaming city is the best oob, as it box breaks and lets you visit the city in the distance. It's worth the sparrow flight to explore.
Enjoyed getting into one of the ascendant challenges before it opened to the public. Getting to the famous checkerboard map from a D1/D2 Crucible map, Getting into the cavern of wall of wishes before the raid dropped, getting to into the EDZ area where we first learned about Sequiras Ghost before that area opened. Cruising around the lake out there was fun also.
