"farmers vs hunters" was the best custom map i ever played

Games like Werewolf, Dark Deeds, Parasite, and Zerg Infestation were my absolute favourite. These were the OG Among Us with the imposter getting dozens of objectives, strategic gameplay with PvP and PvE elements, and deep progression for leveling up different 'Imposter' forms based on combat, stealth, or deception. What I'd do to get a polished standalone of these old games, man.. and the easter eggs were amazing.

Man I forgot about a lot of these I dont even remember the names but there was three more I liked. They were unit centric types of custom. Which were my favorite compared to Hero, tower obstacle course centric games. One was "summoner generals" something or another. You spawned as a specific races leader and you would level up and spawn your races units. Another was the dwarf sniper game where you would sneak through forests and try to one shot other dwarfs first. Another game ( I think it was called rebel) was good too. You spawned with militia and then you tried to kill other militia. Every kill earns you more militia. Once you had enough militia you could combine them into new units at portals throughout the map. You would also combine these units in secret recipes for even better units. It was great and chaotic. Thanks for reminding me of games from childhood. Honestly I had the same experience with dota. The community was always pissed and honestly thay culture past on to dota 2. This video makes me wonder about all the custom games I forgot about. I played like 90% of these. RISK mode was fucking amazing too. Would fight in the americas pretty much every game.

Got tired of not playing wc3. So I am back and glad to see it is still living just fine in custom map scene. It is literally like having 100's-1000's of games all in one thank to the custom maps. Almost every genre has practically been made almost. xD Even has fighting game maps that play like mortal combat and all that. So many cool things.

the black road (TBR) was a great warcraft 3 open rpg game.

I remember saving lots of custom map files on my usb to add to the computer shop that we played since no internet (lol) looking back there's a lot of well made games

when I was 6 yrs old I always play Warcraft frozen throne after school it was fun to play the game modes.the game modes I play was tree tag,farmers vs hunters,kodo tag,castle fight,easter egg hunt,were wolf,undead assault,and multi player.what a child hood 😊 even to day I still play Warcraft frozen throne I growup playing it

I loved the werewolf style games, Parasite was amazing, but the Undead Assault and Raccoon City games were awesome too. I remember one with a FPS mode that put you in third person shooter camera mode with increased exp gain... the events and missions in these games, and frantic attempts to organize and survive while your team was slowly overwhelmed was amazing.

Oh man, you missed dark deeds. I miss that one to this day. The big difference to werewolf was that the evil guy was not only a werewolf but could random between different ones. Like pitlord, shadow shaman, werewolf, dracula, etc.

13:44 So this sounds like something specific that I'm looking for. I'm not entirely sure what it's called, but seeing this, I feel like it is a variation of Footmen Custom, since it is a more sophisticated version of Footmen Frenzy. I dunno if this is the case here, but for what I'm looking for, there was the also the option for different races, including a couple extra ones, like blood elf and dwarf, which the latter basically puts dwarf skins over Militia units. Units also gain military ranks up to Sergeant from the kills they get. One major difference between what I'm looking for and this however is the setting. This is an island setting while what I'm looking for is a Cityscape setting. At the start of the game after loading it, you also get options of what mini-game to play. There's your standard deathmatch where it plays as it normally would, there's one where you build 8 towers in designated spots in the center of the map, and if you can have all 8 towers built, you win. There's also a Heroes-only mode. But yeah, I have been searching for this specific variation of Footmen Custom, which I'm still not entirely sure if it falls under Footmen Custom, but haven't found it yet. I know I previously found it on Epicwar like 10 to 15 years ago, but I can't find it now. Would anyone have any idea what I'm talking about?

I remember spending hours to just host an obscure game and manually refreshing the player slots. :D I remember wanting to play the moba mode in Spellcraft because it was co-op but getting players for it was hard. There was a game where one could make movies within the engine. It might have been one of the RP games like SOTDRP. 🤔 Warlock was probably the most popular game that I liked, but my current favorite is Hero of The Empire which is also a very niche but complex custom game.

Just installed reforged and w3champions, but for some reason I cant find the custom games section like it was back in the day. Am I missing something here?

There were some really advanced maps like battleship crossfire, battle tanks, impossible bosses, undead assault 2, and some french maps that were a delight to play like Zilievgrad (literally sims), "War of the clans" which was like a custom "mafia" or werewolves (you win by getting gold, you can negotiate with players to get more gold, betray to steal gold, cooperate, duel, then the voting town where you vote to eliminate which player or not). Do not ever forget about Icegliders as well. This is like such a unique game. Hero battle + slider ? Yes.

if you like Tower War (TD + PVP) games, i recommend the following maps: - Forbidden Elements TW - Massacre TW - Paladin TW - Legion TD - Legion TD is very demanding and its played competitively in some wc3 servers. There's a version on steam called Legion TD 2 as a standalone game but i haven't tried this one.

Sup bro! Maybe you cab help me out with a map I’m trying to find! I remember that you start the game as a wisp a need to choose a hero by stepping in the TP in front of the one you want. When you step into it, you are teletransported for a map full of creatures and start to farm. I remember that at the very north there was a Tidehunter lvl 30. The Medusa was very hard to kill too. When you die tou go to a safe place, that tou can but itens. I remember that the crystal Maiden have a spell that 6 waves of ice drops from the sky. And i remember too that Furion is a druid and his normal attack was big energy balls veeeeery slow! That is it. Do you remember play any map like this?

At start of the game you can pick heros and there's a god of thunder with a knight character which I think name is Ryan and a devil that drops item when it died, the only item I remember is thunder armor

I Looking for a WC Frozen Throne custom map >>> map is a model of maiev / Mortred / phantom assassin Uses ability thrower shuriken glaive boomerang If hit by the blade, they will be kill instandly, have ability blink dodge or use to kill when shuriken comback yourself. Runes appear randomly on the map to collect to receive buffs. When you reach the required number of kills, you win and the game ends. If I remember correctly, the map is a rather large urban area. There should be a fountain in the middle. When killed, it will randomly respawn in a location. I searched and found a similar map: Hardcore Ninja / Pudge Wars / Ninja vs. Samurai / Ninja Scroll / Shuriken Wars / Warlock Wars, but it's not what I'm looking for. Thank you

Werewolf Transylvania was great, though once everyone knows all secrets it can get tedious if everyone fights over everything, that and the balance between fishing vs not is/was pretty broken early game
