Nice to see appreciation for Violet Cold, I really liked that one aswell. Might have discovered them from your channel actually, if you reviewed the rainbow colored one. Other than that, I wasnt really into any new hip hop this year. They need to step it up for sure. DnB kinda the same (usually im a big Current Value fan but i couldn't get into his new one, not enough groove or drive for me). Calibre's newest Shelflife had some amazing stuff though. Especially the track Fade. Really dissonant sound. Personally my top album is AM3 from Snow Strippers. Appreciate the videos bro! About to check out one of these brazilian funk tapes right now, sounds interesting
And that Sofia Courtesis album was fantastic aswell. Def check it out. Have you heard of Amapiano? Cool South African genre, it's still in its early stages, nothing really great yet in my opinion, but worth finding out about.
