You’ve earned yourself another subscriber 🥰 I’ve literally watched all your videos starting with the one where you talked about Prime. You’re literally the type of Lady I aspire to be lol. Im a 6 year veteran and a single mother of a 2 year old boy- I just put in my applications for both Prime and TMC! fingers crossed they send me to school 🤞🏾 my plan is to grind OTR as hard as I can while he’s still a baby (thank god for family support) then by the time he’s 5 and ready for school, I’ll be a Local Lease operator or owner operator so I can go home every night and make as much if not more than I did while I was OTR. I love seeing females in this industry but I love seeing US even more ! Keep up with the videos beautiful 💕💕💕

Depending on the truck you can definitely put storage bins on. I had 3 big ones on mine and I could have had more. I’m actually switching to local so my truck is going to be a day cab, I still want to do a video on making the most of your space. I’m not sure how I’m going to do it but I’m working on it.

Definitely gotta keep the toilet on the truck! And I only use those truck stop towels to step on with my shower shoes, I saw a worker at Pilot dig in her nose and wipe her finger on the blue towel 🤢

Lol I got you I just made a video about my toilet, but I didn’t go in depth with how to clean it. Basically the bucket connected I put scented trash bags and I put kitty litter in it. Once I’m done I tie up the bag and dispose of it. It’s real simple.
I went 2 weeks otr with my ex and baby she not lying about that bedside toilet cause at night in some of those truck stops, getting out the truck just isn’t a good idea. We were in New Orleans one night and at 2/3 am I had to go and I woke my ex up and made him walk with me across the truck stop lol he was pissed but something didn’t feel right to me at the truck stop. Those leg massagers are good to cause my legs and ankles swelled up so bad when I was out with my ex. They hurt so bad, I kept them propped up and kept icing them which helped some but I wish I had thought about something like that.
I’m glad you did. When I’m solo I don’t sleep over night in NO. A female driver was found stabbed to death at a truck stop in NO. After learning that and listening to other drivers it’s a off limit area for me. MY mom found it I’m so glad she did, but that leg swelling ain’t no joke especially when you have to drive. You’ll be surprised how much you can fit on a truck comfortably. It really depends on what company you start with and the type of trailer/freight you pull. I would say $700-1300 a week for OTR but like I said above it depends
My desire to start fresh was greater than my fear of trucking. Even though it was intimidating I really wanted my cdl so I pushed past my fear. I got my cdl through a company located in Fort Worth, Texas. I’m You can check out my video on why I became a trucker to get more details on my start.
Nothing you said was stupid. Take care of yourself the way you see fit. For me I would like something to workout with, even a small set of dumbbells and a jump rope. When I feel strong I feel good.
Yes 🙌🏾 That is so important. I have a weighted jump rope, 2 types of resistance bands, 15 pound kettle bell, and a yoga mat. I’ve been getting more intentional about my health because trucking can really tear you down
