(Janniece) Wow! Back in the 70’s & 80’s I used fountain pens.... got really tired of inked fingers... ink everywhere. But loved the process. NOW I’m so inspired to indulge again. I found back then my handwriting was so much better and I actually would send more written notes. It’s just too easy to text a thank you! Now! Ok... $$$ time to dive back in. Thank you for such sound advice. And your enthusiasm is so contagious. ❄️🌲❄️

Yay, thanks for sharing this system, especially prior to 2020! I'm probably going to make one too. That first TN is scratched up so nicely!!! I can't afford the GoodInkPressions notebooks but they look so luxxxxx. I like how you decorate the front of your inserts even though you said you're not ~aesthetic haha. Those tabs looks so useful, but my inserts tend to be very very freeform. I love your personal black book; my grimoire's a mess and it's so big I'm afraid to actually USE it so it's brilliant to see a small nice one. Thanks so much again!!

I was looking to see if I might move from my bullet journal to a travel journal..... and no. It would end up so dang heavy! The bigger the container, the more I will stuff in it. It will end up the size of my head. So thank you. Haha! Your Tarot journal looked cool... I'm on my 2nd dotted journal for this year. I need that sticker thing!! Off to amazon. I want stickers of EVERYTHING!

YAY STICKERS! My Canon Ivy printer is the BESTTTTTT I love it so much and still use it every single day! And agree.. my TN does get a bit heavy. I just love the insert system for grouping stuffs and having somethings structured and some open etc :D hehehe

I absolutely love your journaling videos. 🙂 I'll be binge watching them for a bit. 😊 I'm also considering a Book of Mirror/Self-reflection journal, but I'm not too sure which notebook to use. I have a few cute composition notebooks, and two Exceed journals (that I might possibly save for my tarot studies in the future). 😯 A composition notebook is a definite possibility. 😊

This is such a wonderful video. 😊 I'm going to be starting my new tarot journal soon. I think I have around 20 pages left in my current one. I decided, since I'm sorta new to tarot, I'd use spiral bound notebooks for the beginning of my journey. 🙂 My first notebook is pretty messy though. 😅 Do you have any tips for a tarot journaling beginner?

TWSBI is my go-pen brand too. Technically you can pull the nib and feed out of the pen body and syringe fill it, but it’s not recommended since the feed is pretty delicate. The TWSBI 580 has a removable nib unit that can be unscrewed and can be filled with a syringe that way. And now I need to go refill a pen with the Black Swan ink. I love it but haven’t used it in awhile.

What was the little printer did you say you used? That is such a fantastic idea to photograph spreads so you can take it with you. I find I'll do a morning spread and I would like to refer to it later in the day, so this would bw fantastic to use 💟

Hey lisa... loved this video. Yay for travelers notebooks. I can’t live without mine. It’s always by my side. I didn’t see any links to your pen choices or paper choices. I use lamy pens and a few others ... I’m wondering about the paper you mentioned and where you get it in notebook form. I have to le River I’m loose paper and it’s the best I. My esho. I use midori notebooks mainly ...the paper is thick, Which works well when I’m getting all artsy... but I’d like to try what you use. If you’re using fountain pens and tomorrow river gives you more pages out of an insert... that’s a winner! I also use the ivy printer... the thing is just amazing... so slick ... love it but not so much the price of the paper.

For the Tomoe River Paper inserts that I buy, I get them from a shop called Good Inkpressions - you can find them on Etsy :) Or you can google "Tomoe River Inserts" and see what comes up! :) They're getting a bit easier to find these days. I believe the Midori/Travelers Notebook brand inserts are Tomoe River paper already but I could be wrong about that!

love love love this video!!! What SIZE is the big one you are using? You said it was "standard" but when I go to Bassy & Co site, there are like 6 different sizes, and I LOVE the size you have. Is it A5? A6?

I know this is a weird question, but one of ur earlier videos ( I think it was an unboxing) u mentioned a deck that has goddess cards that u draw from to learn about different goddesses. What deck is that, I would like to learn more about the goddesses and think drawing from a deck would be a fun way to learn them. Love ur videos. 😊💜

Oooooh Tomoe River Paper is heavenly! It's silky smooth, super thin but doesn't bleed through so you can write and paint on it - even though you can practically see through it! I think that Hobonichi Weeks and Midori popularized it initially!
