My Tribute To Eddie Van Halen 

Holy Crap! That would be the closest I've heard anyone getting to Eddie's tone and feel - awesome, well done!

Best compilation, playing and tone on RU-vid for EVH's passing. Rocco continues to churn out top notch material. Thank you Rocco for the upload, and thank you EVH for a lifetime of riffs and tones to chase. All we need now is for Rocco and Valentino to do these same songs with backing tracks!

I've watched about 50 guitar player's tributes to King Edward since he passed. I enjoyed yours the most thus far! You got a great feel for Ed's style. And you petty much nailed his sound. That was fun to watch!

Eddie was one of my favorite guitarists alongside Steve Lukather, Andy Timmons, Gary Moore, Kee Marcello, Michael Schenker, Jeff Beck and a few others. When I got the news of his passing away, it came to me as a shock as I thought he was recovering from his health issues and the sinking feeling was similar to how I felt when Gary Moore passed away. Such an awesome legacy he has left! Great work Rocco!

A sonic masterpiece. Your feel, pace, pausing, breath, rhythm, tone, and time is impeccable! This doesn't feel like an impression or impersonation, or even an incredibly gifted, studied and heartfelt homage. It makes me feel different, if only for moments whole again. The unrelenting soul and uniquely individual voice screaming from my speakers is hauntingly familiar. Since 10/6 I've listened to almost no Van Halen. Very unlikely for someone who has consumed it like sunlight or oxygen since 1978. Through every day, drive, every friend, every relative, every pet, every hobby, sport, every school, job, home, relationship, success, and failure. I haven't been able to play VH, it hurt too much. In the last 5 months I've lost several of my best friends. A couple of friendships over 40 years, then add my grandfather, my father-in-law (21+ yrs. married), and 3 weeks before EVH, my Pasadena, CA born and raised mother. Ed's passing really sent me over the top mentally, his genius always helped me get through the rough times and exclaim the great times. Thank you very much for this video and your effort. I hope to use it as a springboard to get past my anger, depression, and incredible sense of loss.

Everything we just heard came from the mind of a genius and infected generations of guitar players and musicians. Can you imagine a world if Eddie never came along? I'd rather not. I like the world we live in, filled with the beautiful music he created. Great job as usual Rocco, you did a terrific job honoring the legend that is EVH.
