Hello guys and welcome to today's video! My truck will roll over 2 000 000 kms on this trip, so I figure I'd bring you along for the ride! Sit back and enjoy! 2006 Peterbilt 379 CAT C15 MXS 650hp B-Train Flatbed Trailers
Being a care giver for my better half, I needed to pause this about 5 times through out the day as home duties came up. I must say it was fun to jump back into your world for a few minutes every so often. Again thanks for the ride.
Congrats on 0 kms!! 🎉 😂 can’t say I’ve seen that either, lots of old girls in our yard with well over 2 and still counting. Your resale value just went through the roof!
Hey man, I recently finished watching every single one of your trucking videos, from the beginning of your channel. Pretty awesome to see how far you've come.
Dude, you are phenomenal on backing those B-Trains. I watch guys at my work, who have the entire parking lot, take 6+ times just to back up a single trailer. Oh yeah. They are also driving automatics. Lol
I'm a software engineer approaching 40. And I am so jealous of your job. Obviously it has its ups and downs like everything, but it just seems so exciting and fun to be delivering freight in a semi.
I drove through that tornado damage this summer from Ottawa with my daughter to ride dirt bikes by Peterborough. Crazy damage! Must have been something to live through that. Congrats on the 2 million!
Congrats on the 2M! A milestone for sure (or should that be kilometerstone?). I'm wondering what kind of headlights (make/model) you put in there. They sure looked bright compared to those driving lights!
Gem of a video, loved the maneuvering with the spotter and parking lot full of cars. Absolutely a master of your craft, hopefully I can get close to your level of backing one day 😂
Love your videos , as someone who lives in Huron county and has to drive these roads a lot now for work, you have been very helpful to me , and you take great care and pride in your driving , your videos have helped me become more comfortable on my route that , takes me on a bunch of the same roads you drive . Appreciate you
Thanks for taking us along I drove for fifty years been retired for the last four years miss going for a drive . the last few years I drove I took some time off and was a tractor trailer instructor at NBCC in Moncton New Brunswick great money but very hard on the head . I just turned seventh one and when I renewed my drivers license I had a medical and kept my class # 1 didn't want to give them up yet . great channel enjoy watching take care all the best in 2024 keep on truckin
Congratulations. You Peterbilt just became brand new again. You are a hell of a truck driver. I like your channel and now I'm a new subscriber. Safe travels.😊
Have seen you unloading at Cantario before. I live just outside the city (Sweaburg). So I know the area well. Chuckled when I seen you pull out of the yard at the beginning of the video. I have driven by there dozens of times and recognized the area immediately. Enjoying the videos! Congrats on the 2M. Truck is still going surprisingly strong.
Congrats on the big mile stone driver with your truck. How does it feel to drive a new one with low km, haha LOL 😃😉. Glad to see you are doing well and everything is working well with the truck. Another great video as usual my friend. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.

With you being such a smooth driver and taking care of your equipment like you do I am sure your truck will serve you well for a long time yet. Very very good driver
New subscriber here! Your backing skills are undisputedly the best i have ever seen! My Dad was a trucker back in the late '70's and had a Pete cabover and logged a lot of miles hauling heavy equipment all over the USA, Canada & was one of the ORIGINAL "Ice Road Truckers" driving over-sized and long loads over ice roads and through blizzards in Canada & Alaska, etc! I have heard LOTS of stories and seen lots of pics over the years and even got to ride with on a few short runs when I was little! Keep up the awesome job you do, Man, and drive safe and careful! :)
Impressive, we used to run DAF trucks in Europe, 1 million was the time we started to have BIG repair bills, Camshafts, etc, we had a Volvo that 'ate' through the Aluminium sump at 1.5 million (sulphur in the oil) Keep trucking
My lady friend here in Northern Maine drives for RF Chamberlain. She hauls to Canada. They have a huge fleet of Peterbilts....when a truck hits 1,000,000 miles they sell it. They just sold 3 nice trucks on a $50,000 package deal!! Yes all 3 rigs.
@@callthemall my friend. She was a CDL instructor for the local college ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bR5uvhE8Z4I.htmlsi=k_acr5Ikd9IqBlM8
Coming in late here but id like to give you a big shout-out from New Zealand and to say cheers for the best backing skills ive seen and thanks for putting them out there. You all have a safe one this Xmas. Chook.
Well, can it be that You was the Second Time on the Parkinlot on Minute 50 ? 🤔🤔 and the Road with the Bind Corners was a Single Video 😉😉 It`s Magic 😮 You began the Trip with an "Old Lady" and came Home with an "Young Girl" 👍🏼👍🏼
We have a cottage in Lakefield. Was neat to see you drive in and around where we spend our summers. In particular Peterborough. And yes, the construction in and around Peterborough never seems to be good.
I just replaced my 2005 international 9400 that had 1.2 million miles on its c- 15 twin turbo caterpillar. .Motor was goin strong but the salted roads here in n.w. Wisconsin were taking a toll on the rest of the truck… caterpillar for the win baby!!!!! I gots a 2006 Peterbilt with a c- 13 caterpillar now..
My company just parked the '13 cascadia i was driving and it was just about to 1.3m. 1m of those were mine. Now driving a new '24 Cascadia. Wish the boss would consider a KW or Pete but I guess I can't complain when I'm not spending the money. 😊
Dude a second camera mounted on the back of the pup showing you taking bends/corners and backing up would really add to your already awesome channel! Just a thought from a long time fan from England. 🤘🏻
This was really cool to watch especially since I live in Tillsonburg! I would really love to see more of videos around there if ya could but understandable if not.
I have family down your way. My brother works at a tire shop called Stans total tire in Fingal. If you ever need new shoes for the rig stop in they will treat you right. Roadside or by appointment dont matter.
Well, you have a new truck now. 0 miles driven, that is brand new. But anyhow, I enjoyed very much of this video. This was and is so interesting and relaxing to watch and follow. (sorry my bad English, I am a Finn living in Finland and not using any translators.)
Thank so very much for the drive. I can't do it anymore and miss it so much, Now all I drive on that American Truck Simulator.. It's a really good Simulator but nothing beats the real thing.. P.S. blow your when Smiths Falls.
Let's be honest, It's the best sim we have, but it could be sooo much better if they'd just make it more realistic. It's like they don't have a single truck guy advising them. It's actually a pretty bad trucking experience, a poor game.
Congratulations on reaching 4 million kilometers (who would ever know). I figured on zero once the camera was focused because I could see the 1 million digit didn't have enough space for other digits.
Hey mate if the lights are similiar to australia with all being in sync. Theyre designed so you dont need to stop and it only stuffs up the timing after someone presses a pedestrian crossing button
Hi mate, love your videos that involve highway driving. Just some info, European drivers drive on the same side of the road, as you, and the US. do.Cheers mate, John,,Australia.
Hey dude. Congrats on 200000 miles, well 0 km. Hahaha. Youre fun to ride w. I watch you a lot. Would you ever consider putting a Tripod on the passengers seat??. Sometimes it as hard following the view when your looking around. Bon Appetit😅 for dinner i love riding shotgun w you on the roadways. Gn, gm thank you for giving me a true view of what being a Pro driver is all about. 😅 i like your Transitions in film n speed up for those long waits. Pretty cool. God Bless you always😊 ❤
The first digit of the display is not prepared for a number other than 1... We were all expecting 2 ahead... 1 hour of video and we missed the 2nd hahaha
I'm such an engine nerd, I'd organize a party for hitting a certain oddometer mile stone xD I'M even glad it made the 2 million at a good speed and not anywhere limping within city traffic ^^ Congratz and can you tell me how much the odometer was at the time you've bought it? Cheers and safe roads!!
Did you ever get that driveline vibration sorted out? With the times the driveshaft was out for differential work I wondered if it was put back together 180 degrees out of phase. With a two piece driveshaft that separates at a spline joint it's easy to put it back together with the yokes looking right but actually 180 degrees off messing up the driveshaft balance.
Hello Matt excellent video that is so strange that the kms would go back to 0 wow I wonder if you can get the old girl to do another one million kms or is that pushing it I really like the long videos you put out maybe you should put your own music on your videos
I guess they can just keep going! A few people have said their 40+ year old trucks have over 8 million miles! And all the music I do for my videos are my own recordings 🤘
There must be some sort of weird space/time error. I was in Perth the same day you posted this. It was cold and snowy for me, but it's a beautiful summer day when you were there.
So are your plans to keep running this rig or do you have plans to buy a new truck? I am a new subscriber, so I have a lot to catch up on as far as your videos go, and getting to know more about you and your truck. You are a pretty chill guy and the few videos I have watched have been super fun and entertaining, and that truck SOUNDS SOO GOOD!! I love the sound of a Peterbilt turbo and the Jake break. Just brings back good memories of riding with my dad as a kid. He no longer drives because of health issues, but the memories are fresh in my mind. You videos help renew them. Thank you!
Thank you for the kind words, I have absolutely no plans on selling this truck, I will rebuild it from the ground up before buying something new filled with screens and all the extra sensors and gizmos
@@callthemall Amen, I hear ya. I am glad you prize that truck because although it's and older one, she is still beautiful. Keep up the amazing videos!!
Great vid! 0:36 What is that strange noise? There are older Mercedes Diesel passenger cars on YT with the same feature and I still wonder what it is. Cheers!
Congrats on that many kilometers! I might sound stupid but what is the benefit of running b trains over a single,I’m not a trucker I just love the trucks!
