Define major. Even theoretically Nero can only appear in Satsuki and Arcued True routes, he has nothing to do with the rest. And if he were to appear in Satsuki's, just as plus+disk suggested, he'd just die there anyway with Shiki, Satsuki, Arc and Ciel (and potentially Vlov) all going after him and Roa. Maybe that death wouldn't be as pathetic as in the original but still.

Notice how I never called it "bad writing" Also notice how I specifically called out to what the writing also calls out to. That the reason for his outburst was his relationship with Akiha. It didn't matter that it was Arcueid or that she's a world ending vampire. It mattered that someone showed up without Shiki knowing when he himself never warned them. Also notice it wasn't the only character flaw I pointed out for Shiki. Characters are allowed to have flaws, but when that flaw is them being lecherous, aggressive, and dismissive as the *main character* for forty hours of reading time? It's not palatable, that's the point. Not that it's bad writing. But that I personally wasn't a fan of it. Watch the video again. It ain't a review.

​@HalgoniaKen Jumping in here but while I wouldn’t deny that Shiki is a prick, I also wouldn’t call his anger torwards Arcueid "Inexplicable". In the case of her showing up at his house while yes he didn't tell her to not do that...but I don't recall him telling her where he lived. And buddy completely putting the vampire stuff aside if a girl you knew for a week showed up at your house uninvited that would at least warrant a "what the fuck?!" Also fairly certain Shiki mainly wanted Akiha and his family to be as far away from this vampire business as possible so Arcueid bringing it to his front doorstep isn't a welcome thing. (well he is also scared of Akihas wrath but that's kinda a given) While it likely isn't your intent it does feel like you are letting Arcueid off easy. She does have a serious lack of common sense what with sealing her wounds with packing tape and breaking into Shikis room in the middle of the night and staring at his face(Which yeah also warrants a what the fuck)

@@seraph_dalgon_9216 The whole point of their attitude is that Arc is special and he's able to be the most natural around her and vice versa. The only one he's anywhere like that with besides her is Arihiko. It shows they're on the same wavelength. It's not like they aren't as equally sweet and candid with each other despite the Tsun and bickering. Shiki being horny is also normal. He's always been like that(And biologically it makes sense for the Nanaya) so it'd be weird if he wasn't. It's not like they overplay it.

For the right (middle) one in 2:07, I believe you just need to choose to not meet Ciel during lunch break that day before meeting her afterschool.

If you want to tie Arach to one of the new DAAs, then why not Lululily A. Paranodahlia? DA Noel has a move named after her and Roa attributes his revival to a gift from her (and we know that Arach is involved with both of them). Meanwhile the only thing Agape theory has is that they're called an idiot which fits Arach too.

There is genuinely not a single Not even so much as a percentile of a chance, where I will be happy that any visual scene involving SA occurs. It's just gross and unnecessary, especially when the remake omits the sex scene in Ciel's route opting instead to not only explain exactly what you stated *without* showing something genuinely gross and unnecessary, and makes a fun callback to the original release in the process. Sorry, not sorry, it didn't need to be brought back.

Shiki by all intents and purposes is characterized as an animal, he is someone that struggles with the fact he constantly wants to kill and even admits to constantly fantasize about how he can kill Arcueid, that is also heavily interconnected with his sexual drive, like my brother in christ he literally came in his pants from it and says it's better than masturbation.

The funny part is that Mahoyo is actually very explicitly clear on the matter and then none of Nasu's works touch on it again (afaik anyway)

​@@HalgoniaKen bounded fields are basically used in every work. Fate mentions them and basically any credible organization or magus uses them. The only times I could really think they weren't being used were Mayne the bigger Fate fights, but that was basically impossible to keep under wraps, so that was covered up anyway. And just like Fate, Maguses usually murder people that happen to see it anyway. Mahoyo just exposits something we already see in other works. Even Kara no Kyoukai used Bounded fields or other pieces of magecraft to conceal itself (KnK 5 iirc).

I mean Kagetsu Tohya came first so wouldn't Fate/Hollow Ataraxia be the Kagetsu Tohya of Fate? 🤔 And I'm sorry but I definitely won't be covering those. I don't plan on reading Kagetsu Tohya anytime soon and I've played Melty Blood Type Lumina but Fighting Games have never been my thing, so I have no interest in making a video about it.

@@HalgoniaKen You are missing SO MUCH lore without melty and kagetsu tohya it's not even funny. Melty blood is pretty much a fighting game with a visual novel included in it. And Kagetsu Tohya has stuff like Red Demon God(Shiki's biological dad is peak) and another additional stories

*I’m really hoping that it is a case of mistranslation but from the wiki, it’s estimated that Ciel is 18 in the events of Tsukihime (not even just “18”, it’s “estimated to be 18”). She was turned when she was 12 and after her revival she worked in the Church for 6 years, implying that she did grow up so that she can be within the same age range as Shiki. That’s my only assumption and theory as to why they would make this change but either way, I don’t like this implication since it contradicts the World keeping Ciel “unchanging” if she’s allowed to age?? I mean yeah I guess Arcueid too (seeing how there’s Child Arc) but that’s a different thing since she was born a vampire, and Ciel’s condition is totally something else.* This is simply Nasu being a pretentious hack as always. He loves to overcomplicate things in the futile attempt to seem complex, but actually isn't. Ciel/Elesia in OG was 16 when Roa took over and killed the entire town until Arcueid stopped her. Pretty simple and makes sense. OG Ciel essentially was a 25 year old, traumatized woman in the body of a 16 year old girl (and could pass as a teenager). Remake Ciel is a 12 year old loli that (assumingly) got magically aged up to look like 18(?) by Roa and is stuck with that body so the relationship with her and Shiki doesn't look weird. Somehow Nasu managed to make Ciel's lore weirder than Ilya's and Artoria's. Not only that but the entire french incident in Remake doesn't make any sense. Roa is an outsider in the vampire society. Nrvnqsr literally said so in the OG VN. And even a bad end in Remake suggests that Roa wasn't liked in Remake canon either. And most DA were scared of Arcueid. So there's no reason that many Dead Apostles were present in Ciel's/Noel's town. Roa's incarnation cycle still doesn't add up mathematically (it didn't work in OG either). Then the entire Dr. Arach thing abd how/why she's allowed being in Akiha's mansion. Not the mention the awful True Ending of Ciel's route. And more inconsistencies. All these little things add up so hard in the end that they make me facepalm consistently when reading them. Tbh I'm convinced that (except the visuals, music and how Vlov was handled in both routes compared to Nrvnqsr in OG) Remake is barely superior to OG Near Side. Arc's route in Remake might be a little bit better (however it doesn't come close to the manga, which to this day is the best version of Arcueid's route), but the ''new'' Ciel route was just awful and legit killed my interest in the Remake series.

The Remake and Type Lumina imply that while Roa isn't claimed to be a DAA, he is an acquaintance to some of them and doesn't harbor a harsh relationship to them. Vlov and the spider DAA are associates of his, the former being someone that he fucked over (which is why Vlov sought revenge) and the latter being mentioned in Type Lumina. Both Vlov and Arach seem to be aware of the Altar and it was guarded by the Tohno's and we see Roa trying to perform a ritual there. Theere are a fuckton of implications that instinctually speaking, that altar is extremely important to the DAA's, Roa, and the Tohnos. Even Kouma cited that something sinister (Red Garden and Altar) is going on in Souya. It's very heavily implied that whatever that Altar was originally for is a citywide danger. The French Incident is described as being "The World Killing Poison," so it's theorized to be a DAA ritual meant to revive the Dark Six, the original DAAs and the supposed strongest under the Crimson Moon itself. Roa's ambition might be a bit different from that though, since he sought proof of eternity (the Cosmic egg), so he probably had his own agenda in helping with that incident. We already know of a "world end" level event because Arcueid took the planet's texture, meaning that whatever the DAAs did there was a joint effort that would've been a planet wide catastrophe or a change of the world-order itself. That's not exactly inconsistent. Most DAAs seek to revive the Dark Six and it's also established that DAAs have different dynamics with one another in optional Arc Route dialogue (where she explains the Ancestors). Some fuck with each other and some don't. Some fuck with Roa and some don't. Some are willing to work with Roa if it achieves another goal. He's not considered to be the 28th DAA, but that in of itself does NOT mean that none of them are willing to cooperate, as I've said before. 3. And as for why Arach is allowed in the mansion, she's clearly seen as being useful to the Tohnos and was implied to be around when Shiki was in the Hospital (depending on if his monolouge was talking about her or the Kagetsu doctor). She's also stated to be an architect, which could imply that she was the original creator of the Altar, something Akiha implies to be an actual Tohno Asset when she calls it her garden in Type Lumina. Alot of your points just sound like you either missed optional scenes, lack context, or just missed in general. Akiha herself finds Arach's personality to be grating, but she's clearly a crucial Tohno Asset, otherwise she would have gotten kicked out like every other Tohno.

Most of this new lore is dumb as f*** and isn't even consistent with itself. Not to mention the need to blow every minor event in the lore into such an epic battle. It's just ridiculous. Nasu had a (mostly) well working lore with the original Tsukihime and Melty Blood at hand. And now he butchers it with chuuni garbage that feels like it was ripped from a modern isekai light novel. All the examples you brought up already show that Remake Far Side won't be like OG Far Side at all. Great Idea! Muddle the best three routes of OG Tsuki with nonsense like this and write even more bs or whatever he plans to do with Satsuki's Route. Meanwhile Near Side is still as flawed as ever but bloated and with cringe try hard attempts at comedy

And "epic battle?" I'm confused on this. The only "epic battles" that were added is the Ciel vs Noel fight and the Arc True End fight. Anf I'm also confused by your "It's inconsistent with itself" takes. No, it isn't. In fact, Nasu's Remake has drawn from KT, Type Lumina, The other Melty Blood entries, etc. "Still the same flaws as ever" The prose is WAAAY BETTER than it was in OG, what're you on about? Your problems/"flaws"with the Remake just sound like misunderstandings, misconceptions, and unrest because the Remake changed the OG, not like actual flaws. And comedy is subjective. There were multiple occasions where the Remake made me laugh out loud. That's more of a you problem.

The official english patch for Tsukihime remake will come out on steam and PS4 on either June or July this year which will include the first 2 routes of the game. The original Tsukihime visual novel is really old and you can't find it anywhere to buy, BUT, there's a website that has the complete novel in English so check that out before reading the remake one.

No. The original release of Tsukihime (December 2000) was translated by fans decades ago (and can be found with enough googling) in full. Piece of Blue Glass Moon (What this video is about) remakes the "near side" routes. The "far side" routes are being remade for The Other Side of Red Garden which we currently know nothing about the state of. There's not even so much as a year for tentative release and we have heard nothing about it since Piece of Blue Glass Moon came out in Japan in August 2021 and the trailer for it was only discovered after you complete every ending. Hope that clears it up.

Well, it's no shame to have taste ^^ I liked OG (and especially the manga adaptation), actually the old canon in general, way more than the Remake. Remake kind of killed the franchise for me.
