The power of women bringing life into the world. I was the opposite. I had a LONG labor. 3 days in labor and ended up with an emergency C-section and bleeding out to the point where I could feel I was dying. BUT me and my baby made it safe and healthy. Birth is no joke!

I delivered my own baby in my moms car trying to get to the hospital. She thought I needed to go to the hospital because my foot was swollen. I hadn’t told her i was pregnant yet. Turns out I had pre-eclampsia and didn’t know. She was only 3,2 pounds. She is now a happy 2 year old. She was born on my birthday. Best bday present I’ve ever received. Her birth certificate says “Birthplace: highway 431 Hospital: Vehicle” 🙄 EDIT: I'm so sorry to wait so long to say thank you for all the likes & comments!! I rarely comment & didn't even know I had this many until today!! Thank you so much!! Im so grateful to each person! 🥰🥰🥰

My dad literally took off his shirt and caught me. my mom won’t let me forget it. She tells me all the time that “ all you had to do was wait a few more minutes”

I have had six children. My first came within 3 hours after that I never made it past 1.5 hours. One time I was at work went to the bathroom by myself and went into labor, luckily a judge came in and found me, lol. By the time the ambulance came I was pushing. Funny side note: before I went into labor I was on my way to catch the bus to my car but a co-worker came and chatted me up so I missed the bus. I would have been in heavy labor on the bus in Miami rush hour traffic. Trust me I know your pain!

That's actually an incredible story though. Like very stressful and obviously not ideal for a lot of reasons, but after the fact when everything is okay? I gave birth and delivered my own baby at home!!😬 my husband went out to pick up my brother to stay with my 4 year old so we could go hospital but it happened so fast and like you said, your body just gets to do what it's supposed to do, you can't stop it. Rang for an ambulance and the operator was very calm and absolutely wonderful, she helped and encouraged me through the birth and when the ambulance came i obviously couldn't open the front door, still had my placenta in me lol so they waited 5 more minutes for my husband to arrive and when they made it in the house , baby was there, comfortably sucking his thumb, wrapped up in my dressing gown because that was the only thing available at arms reach! And to be honest, it was the best birth experience I've had 🤭😀 well done to you! Your baby is so cute!

That’s the shit!!! I just had my baby boy 8 weeks ago and my husband and I went through the same thing in San Diego, California. My hunny did that. I’m proud of my hunny... I do remember not wanting a man in the room other then my husband.. BAAAAABIE!! When the time came, Jesus could of been in there and I wouldn’t have noticed it! I’m (WE’RE) fucking superwoman and no one can tell me (US) different. My son was 10 pounds 21 inches long.. NATURAL!. Yeah we women are the shit. There is no pain like childbirth. Lol I have three crazy labour stories here is one of them. I learned from giving birth, is don't wait you know your body and what your feeling get to the hospital ASAP or your going to give birth in these circumstances. Long story short, in the morning just before the school run and my husband had already left for work. My first child eight year old son had to help deliver my second son as I went into labour two weeks early and I was in labour for an hour and was also told to wait for stronger contractions before coming to the hospital. Just a few seconds after I delivered the paramedics knocked on the door and my husband rushed through the door just after the paramedics. My eight year old son is a hero💪🏾. The stitches do hurt more because the swelling has already started and hours have passed after giving birth so that area becomes very sensitive, I felt every stitch. If you let these experiences effect you it will put you off birth for life. Well done girl your babies are beautiful.🤗

this is basically the same as my story. my first delivery was pretty traumatic. so on my second the contraction were minor. i didnt even realise they were contractions. i was in the bath, doing chores etc. then once i got out of the bath i started having pains. ten minutes later i gave birth on my bed, all alone.
