For future reference, If you just start with the T25 torx bit, you won't strip it. They are same shape as the standard allen head, but have significantly better grip! Also, apply heat to loosen the locktite and it comes out like butter!

Got half way home from a ride tonight and noticed my rear tire was flat, upon removing the tire I found a large shard of glass between the tire and inner tube. How in the hell did a piece of glass get inside my tire and cut my tube??? It remains a mystery. Anywho, I didn't have much of an issue getting the screws out of the brake disk or the rim. I used a Torx bit right out of the gate after watching this video. Gonna go grab some slime in the morning and add it to both tires. Not sure how the glass got there but I'm gonna be more cautious where I ride now. Thanks for this vid, it helped a ton and the comment section came through as well with solutions to avoiding stripping the screws. Back on the road in no time.

Probably the best video I've seen showing the prosses of changing the tube and I've seen a lot, from the Zero 10x clones and Chinese instructions videos. One of the biggest problems many run into is stripping out the screws threads on the hub itself or the screw heads. Nice idea about moving the motor wires to the top of the swing arm. I'll have to do that myself. Best tip is to have good quality tools and bits, to save yourself more headaches and more costly problems and repairs down the road.

Great video we used the t27 bit and a hand held impact driver that you smash with a hammer to get the disc screws off ,that the customer stripped. Worked great thanks for the help.

Just spray some expanding foam into the inside of the tire. Instead of using the inner tube. Works great. You will never have to replace a flat tire again. Awesome video 👍 very helpful.

is call Slime 2-in-1 Tire and Tube Sealan , you add this product before adding air in your tires, is going to seal the tires automatically. work there well and cost only 10$ at Walmart

I used 3 tubes trying to change a tubeless puncture. The garage mechanic even failed. Through just attempting methods for changing my 100/65-6.5 tire, I use a fabric rachet from the pound shop and zip ties after I put the tire in the oven to heat it up and make it more playable. Cut the zip ties and fabric rachet after the tube is in and cap on then pump up.

I just got my first flat and did a puncture repair. It was easy. All that's needed is a 21mm spanner and 4mm allen key. I could repair it on the road it was that straight forward and quick.

Here is a trick.. If it's got lock tight you can put a propane torch on the bolt. Also when you are turning the bolt you need to crack it not out slow pressure in the tool like you did. Crack it with your hand. You also need proper tools.. Those all in one kits are no good. Get a dedicated Allen set with handles in a box with good quality tolerances.

When removing a screw which has loctite on it heat it a bit screws being metal will conduct heat and melt the loctite enough for you to unscrew don't heat too much otherwise you might just snap your screw

It’s a good idea to have extra tubes and even brake discs…it’s likely to hit and get bent on rough terrain and rocks. Cheap on Amazon

I have a question...??? I replaced a flat.. (LONG STORY) I put the wheel back on straighten it up put some air in the tire.. tighten the nuts for the tire.. my tire won't move..?? I turn it on accelerate it, the tire moves..switch to dual motor, the front wheel takes off the back wheel kicks in just after the front// Thanks

I use heat to easily remove the bolts from the rotar or any other ones. I have a Vsett 10 and I love the split rims

Ok so the T27 trick worked for one of the screws but the others are stripped again. Anyone have any other tricks that worked? Have 2/6 screws out. Already reached out to varla with no luck other than “take it somewhere”. No scooter places near me

I should have because they are only a few dollars on Amazon but I couldn’t wait and actually put the one that was slightly stripped back in but that is something I’m going to do in the near future probably over winter. Did you see my other two videos I made about it?

For some reason when I was changing mine I landed up with a silver washer but cannot remember what side it goes on the left or the right. So I know there are two gold spacers that go on the inside on the right side where the disc brake is. Do you know by chance if there is a third washer that goes in between those two on the right side?

I want the 2 bike for my wife and I saw a friend electric bike, you know something about them ? and a good tip for flat tires, use slime for tires and you never going to have flat tires

Hi, I have two questions: (1) If a screw does get stripped.... What is the size of a replacement screw? (2) What are your thoughts on using Slime. Does that work? To be honest, this process seems like a PITB and I'd like to avoid at all costs.

The bolt you stripped out looked like a button head cap screw. It would be nice to have some on hand in case of stripping the head. Do you know the size ?

Just purchased a Tsmine adult electric kick scooter I bought it used and the only thing supposedly that's wrong with it is the back tire was off but the seller did not have the instruction or owner's manual so I have no idea how to put the tire back on! Yes that would definitely fix the flat tire issues however it would be a little harder of a ride. They do have solid tires on the new Pegasus they have coming out but it is less power and slower speed. I will be getting one soon to test out so stay tuned.

Why varla tire tube of so bad quality? I had two flats in two hours total ride time, 1st day riding and 1 week after tire tube repair, so in 1 week, in two hours total, I get two flats.. I much enjoy my peace with ninebot at 30km. No worry about flats, it is so bad to carry Varla home when bus refused my ride home.

Make sure you have plenty of tire pressure in them because I believe that’s how I got my flats but not enough air pressure and I pinched the tube

@@JeremiahMcintosh First time was out of the box, tire pressure uncheck, just play. Second time, decent amount of tire pressure, went from 200st to 97th Street Manhattan, and helplessly carry home angle to front wheel to roll home. Very heavy. Bus drivers refused my entry, and subway is too steep on stairs to go down and too high to come up. I got a new Ninebot (gray and yellow 10 " wheel) to use until my Varla is fixed. My ninebot is not a tube tire.

I feel ALL of these scooters are very susceptible to flats because the tires are so small. I am trying to find solid tires. I know the ride is not as smooth, but worth it instead of changing flats.

I have the same Eagle 1 and have changed tubes probably 20 times its a great design just be careful to not let the wheel hang on those wires i put good glue over them when I'm done.

Yes and make sure when you put it back together the brass washer sets correctly or it will not tighten up all the way.

Maybe you’re right but I feel safer with it on top. If you ride over something tall and forget it could catch the motor wire and rip it off like if you were trying to hop up on a curb or over a log that is too big.

🥴these bolts are but in with lock tight and you must but them back with lock tight or you risk these bolts on the rotor coming loose,he failed to but locking agent on bolts do not follow this person who clearly says he is not a mechanic

It's virtually the same scooter. I have another brand which is also virtually the same. Eagle one, zero 10x, hunter x10 are all practically the same thing.

To Avoid getting your Screws from getting Strip, you Could use a Heat Gun or Hair Dryer to Heat up the Loctite. This Will Avoid getting Strip Screws. I found that out the Hard Way. 🙂🛴🛴🛴👍🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
