I’ve been binging your old videos during tech and I am SO EXCITED you posted again so soon! You’re love for the performing arts is so warm and delightful!
YES!!! Kat, when I heard that Back To The Future is coming to Broadway, I was like, “WHAT????” And something else kinda cool about it, a friend of mine that performs here in Branson, MO, told me that her friends son, Casey Likes, will be playing Marty, along side Roger Bart!!
A great day when Kat posts a video, especially on my birthday! I recently got the Into the Woods 2022 cast recording from a friend and it has been on loop NONSTOP!
Hey Katherine, I hope you’re having a good day! I just recently finished my incredible run of Newsies and in two weeks I have an audition for Alice In Wonderland! Any tips for me? It would really help me out. Thanks! I love you so much! 💖❤️
@Kath_Steele, can you do a reaction to the Wicked trailer when it comes out? Also do you think a Glee musical with Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, and Darren Criss can work? Because I'm planning to see Darren at the Ford in LA. Please pray for me that I can go!
The albums I have on vinyl that mean the most to me are (1) an album a friend and his band made when we were in college and (2) The Magic Show, a Broadway show I remember very fondly.
Right now my favorite vinyl is the brown album of Jesus Christ Superstar!! I found it at an antique store and I really adore the 70s rock-operatic sound ❤️
HI BOYFRIEND TIM! Y'all have great music taste! I looooove MUNA and Patsy Cline. My favourite vinyl records are Harvest by Neil Young, Surrealistic Pillow by Jefferson Airplane, News of the World by Queen, the soundtracks to Heathers (the movie) and A Clockwork Orange, and See What Tomorrow Brings by Peter Paul and Mary because I like boomer music!!
i was not expecting so much variety. pup to kendrick. and i was expecting a lot more musicals? but maybe they aren't as easy to find on vinyl? either way interesting and fun video
HI BOYFRIEND TIM!!!! Okay, gotta say I (as an old fart) smiled when I saw the Chicago album. (You may not have a ton of vinyl, but the range is !) If you haven’t already checked him out, look into the various permutations of Alan Parsons, including the Alan Parsons Project. (He, of course, was also the sound engineer on the Beatles’ Abbey Road & Let It Be albums.) And, of course, ELP (Carl Palmer for the win!!!)
Gasp! Is that the fancy version of Lazaretto? With all of the hidden Easter egg stuff? Great collection! I have a few of them myself. It's an expensive (but fun!) hobby!
Awesome stuff, there! My favorite album is Springsteen's "The Wild, the Innocent, and the E Street Shuffle" but Emerson, Lake, and Palmer's "Brain Salad Surgery" is a close contender.
I don't have a distinct favorite of my vinyls (as I don't listen to vinyl as often) but I will tel you that my collection consists of School of Rock the musical, Sargent Peppers, a huge multi disk Disney collection, London Calling, Janis Joplin, Carole King, and a few others that I can't see the titles of from my bed lol 🤣
Oh! My favorite of my record in my humble collection is From Elvis in Memphis or Air for Free by Relient K. For vastly different reasons, Air for Free because the band changed the track listing so it would be optimized for Vinyl! And From Elvis in Memphis because Elvis was the final nail in the coffin for me deciding to get into Vinyl which I had been trying not to get into for so many reasons XD
+KatherineESteele *When adopted ye black nails? They'd finish a Gothic Lolita coordinate consistent with @attitudelolita7676 and @FilleDePorcelaine!* Speaking of drums, my ideal kit for a megachurch worship center would be a PremierⓇ kit with dual ø26"x14" kicks; ø6"x8", ø8"x8", ø10"x9", and ø13"x11" rack toms; ø15"x13" and ø18"x16" floor toms; a ø14"x12" single-snare center drum; and a ø13"x5" single-snare side drum. The cymbals? Gospel ChopsⓇ SHED Ride 24"/66cm, SHED Hi-Hats 15"/38cm, RAW Splash 12"/30cm, SHONDO Crash 17"/43cm, JUDAH Crash 18"/46cm, and Resurrection Crash 19"/48cm.
