big tip that really helped me for anyone who needs it: any amount of exercise is still exercise. Even if you can only get through 5 minutes of a workout video, thats still burning more than if you hadn't done those 5 minutes at all, so dont get discouraged and do what you can and push yourself to do better as you go.
🙌🙌🙌 this video, three days of exercise is better than none a week. Eating healthy five days a week is so much better than none. Start slow and steady, it will be worth it in the end. ❤❤❤
I’ve been working out for a year now and cutting back on food. My motivation is running out because I’m seeing hardly any progress. I like= motivation to do 100 sit-ups a day. Tysm guys :’)
My Fat Rabbit if your gaining muscle then just know that your muscle is gonna end up eating your fat pretty soon. I gained a lot of muscle under my 70 kg body and after about a month all my fat was gone. and maybe try walking in the park or something. cardio is key too.
Make sure you're getting enough food to fuel you're body. If you dont eat enough you won't have enough to build muscle. Good luck!! Try 20min walk if you dont really feel like working out that day :)
The fact that you considered people’s mental health at the start of the video by doing a little disclaimer just shows how considerate you are!! Like seriously!! What a 🌟 We’re so proud you’re growing at an unbelievable rate! so close to 50k!!👏
You can still have treats just not as often as you usually would and be mindful of what your eating. I used to buy a multipack of quavers and just eat bag after bag because they tasted good. Instead now I will just have one bag like twice a week. Don’t restrict yourself just make small improvements to your diet and you’ll see results as long as you move your body every day too. Its doesnt have to be a struggle.
Becksnnc I know but I’m trying to burn more than I eat and by having treats it’s only convincing me to have more. Idk why but it’s how my mind works, I feel demoted if I eat it when I’m trying so hard
I go running 3 miles each day and if I only ran when I wanted to, I'd probably only run once a month. It's hard to get up and do it, but you will always feel better afterwards and it's only 30 minutes of your day. It's worth powering through the whole "I really can't be bothered". Food is the same; it's nicer to eat yummy food, but you will feel much better eating healthier. You just have to keep in mind all the long term benefits, rather than the right here and now benefits (because those are very short lived). Like, you could have that really yummy cake and it will be so good eating it (short term benefit), but then you will be feeling guilty and crying about the added pound to your weight and then you are dieting and working out all week just to lose weight from that one cake. Not worth it. So, next time someone offers you a slice of cake, don't think about how good it will taste, think about how it's going to affect you all week.
I know the journey will be hard but I’m done with not being confident. I am a smart amazing girl I should be able to be happy with myself... but I’m not. I’m so ready to be happy in my skin.
My computer research has shown that nothing beats this diet program. Google *2WeightLossFast. Com* ! You could drop weight like I did that has been 15 lbs already.?
you looking out for people's mental health at the start is amazing! as someone who has struggled its nice to see someone do this. throughout all the video you've been so mature about your weight loss. honestly thank you for saying that its okay to eat chocolate during diets etc. this video was so refreshing to see!! should be so proud of yourself of how you present yourself. love your videos so so much xx
"Don't wait for Monday" gosh I NEEDED to hear that. I believe I came across this video for a reason! My excuse was because mothers day is Sunday and I know hubby is going to get me chocolates because he does every year. I'll just make him get me sugar free 😉
I lost over 10 pounds in the last 2 weeks with this great weight loss method here: FatGone.club I started TODAY!!!! And I’m so proud of myself. Watching your video has given more motivation to keep going. Thanks for posting. You look awesome btw 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💐💐💐 I love that she’s not afraid to show her stomach after the fact 💪💪💪
I lost so much weight on the start of the year but then i got sick and stop excisizing and gained all the weight back and now im back to zero but hey im not stoping.
Kattie mackay the same exact thing happened to me so you’re not alone! We got this though! The best part about starting over is doing everything better than before 😊
when i was hospitalized for bronchitis strep and inner ear infection, i always got sick after that. same thing happened to me. then i started getting migraines and diagnosed with chronic migraines. i gained about 15 pounds back from being sick and now that it’s summer, i can focus on getting fit again. let’s keep goin🤤🥰
This girl started a weight loss channel it's a little different from what we would normally see , give it check out.......look for shanna p day #3 weight loss unfilter
i get really sad because everyone talks about how they go to the gym because i don’t have a gym around me. wish more people would talk about home exercising because not everyone lives in a place where they can get to a gym.
I was in a similar situation and bought the "Insanity" workout dvds. That's been a few years ago and honestly I'm not sure if they're still available but you can look it up. I did those in my old apartment even, which was rather small. At the beginning of watching/exercising with the videos, I could barely do the first 5 minutes...It was awful! Haha 😥😮 BUT I stuck with it and also fast walk outside around 60 minutes per day (which I'm short and even walking fast takes me about 15 minutes per mile) but honestly, with the hardness of the concrete outside, I feel I get twice the workout than i feel I do on an indoor track or treadmill anyway! As far as cardio, you definitely don't need a gym - and in fact I PREFER home workouts or walking in my neighborhood or local parks anyway to an indoor gym. As far as weights and weight training however, you'll obviously need a gym (or the room in your house and money for weights!) But you CAN learn a lot of weight bearing exercises using your own body weight along with chairs and other household items. For instance, I have a lift bar over one of my closet doors for pull ups. There may also be personal trainers in your area OR a local "meetup" group that meets at someone's home gym or small local gym you may not know about! Do some research and just know that a big name gym isn't always the best anyway... and sometimes (like I wrote above) other things are better anyway! One other tiny example of that is the pull up bar I mentioned that I have. I can simply walk by it and do pull ups anytime like during a tv show commercial, or on your way to the shower, or whenever. It doesn't sound like much but I probably combined do 50 pull ups a day just having that hanging on my door that I walk past all the time anyway! No it doesn't replace everything else I do, but it makes it easy to add that into my daily routine. I may GO out to walk or set aside a chunk of time for the day's workout - but that pull up bar is just extra that takes no time, or planning, or thought whatsoever! And with a little improvisation and perseverance you'll reach your goal :) I went from 160lbs to 120 WITHOUT a gym membership. It CAN be done!
You can just try doin yoga cos it builds muscles by using the resistance of your own body weight. Also many youtube videos have cardio for 35 minute or 1 hr. Ido it , you cant do a full video your first time, but u will catch on slowly.
It's normal when you hit puberty love, it was the same for me! You slim naturally once the hormones balance out. Eat healthy, play outside with friends and family and enjoy the fact that your life is just beginning. YOU are perfect, just as you are
This video is so helpful because it’s coming from someone normal who you can relate to. I’ve only just started watching your channel; I thought you where one of those naturally skinny girls but to know you have come so far has really motivated me. Thanks 💕
This is a comment for those who are sceptical about calorie deficits. I have lots 5kg in 3 months by doing cardio on an include, abs workouts and cutting out carbs/sugar. I have never counted my calories as I don’t believe in focusing on numbers.
@@ioioana3747 Your attitude absolutely sucks! You could easily encourage people but you obviously get off on being a bit of a bully. Sucks to be you. I hope you get better as you grow older :)
Every summer I will tell myself that I will look a certain way, then it never happens and I have to deal with it. I will be going into my senior year and I will no longer be forced to just deal with it. It’s the beginning of summer now, and I am getting a planet fitness membership and now that I have my own car, I can drive there whenever I want. This summer will be a summer of progress!
Hi Talia, I am Marc and I am 275 pounds or 125 KG and I am inspired by your journey. I will start vlogging my own weight loss journey soon, I just need to have my medical done and Ill be working on it just like you did. Kisses from PH.
Hi Check out my New Weight Loss Journey Channel starting on the 1st October 2019. You could pick up on some tips... I've recently started on youtube so i would also appreciate the support :)
Following these methods I have already lost 32 pounds since December 27, 2019. Starting with 270 pounds, keto is not just a diet for me it is a life-saving lifestyle! Now I'm going for the next 30 pounds...
Talking about chocolates🍫 , if I eat a piece I convince myself to eat the whole thing and start all over again the next day ,so I don't try to have cheat days and stuff ❤
Omg the moon emoji is what I associate my face with currently! I'm also trying to lose weight. I'm watching my calories and hitting the gym but I can't stop obsessing over my weight. Thanks for sharing this.
I’m trying to lose weight I’m tired of getting called “fat” and other *HORRIBLE* words it really hurts when people say horrible words about me and I’m pretty sure it does for other people too. My birthday is on November the 3rd so hopefully I will be able to lose some weight . I will edit/update the day after my birthday! I might forget about this so please remind me by commenting or something!
(reminding you) is doing school from home (COVID) helping you. I mean not getting cruel comments about your weight must make you feel happier and more confident. Just surround yourself with loving kind people who would never say anything bad about you
The best advice I can give it's to start fasting. Fasting has been great for me. Not only will you loose fat, but you will also maintain your muscle. Great video Talia.
loved how genuine and honest you are!! quick but super informative and super encouraging! these all seemed like very doable and effective things to do, and i loved how you stressed the importance of mental health through the whole process. thanks for the extra inspiration 🥰
Did you ever fight back and forth with yourself about whether or not it's time to lose the weight? I am the exact same body you were when you first started, and I'm continuing to gain weight. I do have mental illness, and I'm constantly fighting myself about my weight. It's upsetting and rather damaging. Just looking for help, because some days I'm motivated, but can't seem to stick with it! I'll lose weight, become beyond happy, but then fall apart because I don't think I made progress. I'm proud of you and your journey!
No need to be embarrassed! Most of us are here for the same reason :) You look beautiful and congrats on your weight loss. Thank you for sharing this video
WORKOUTS TO TARGET LOWER BELLY FAT: do decline sit ups, in and out ab workouts, and really any ab workouts that include your legs or ab workouts that make you go the extra mile like adding in weights. V ups are really great too! 👍🏼💪🏼
Yes I was just doing cardio and not eating much and now I’m skinny fat, recently started weight training and doing hiit more Effectively and big less cardio as I was doing cardio like 3x a day which is too much but felt like I needed it
I’m going to hit the gym again after my exams.. got a few rolls when I sit now, and a visible pouch. Maaaaaaaan, this is going to be hard. But, along with everyone else who is going to change their ways, we can do this!!
this video was abolutely incredible. i feel like i relate to you a lot as i am also a dancer and i believe i look the same as how you did in your before picture. Ive struggled with my weight as im doing gcses and cannot use the gym, i am injured and so have a very bad back... you just completely inspired me that its possible in a way that was so relatable to myself. youre due to make it big, not many "influencers" are this real and mature.. thank you x
The rowing machine is fun; it’s a definitely a favorite piece of equipment for me! I watched your video while at the gym, thank you so much for posting!

I love this video! I’ve been on a weight loss and healthy lifestyle change for the last few months and I’m so excited to finally make a weight loss update journey! Subscribed ❤️🔥

Luna Serena omg thank you so much! i’ll definitely use your advice! i’ve lost a lot of weight so far but not nearly where i wanna be! i’m gonna keep trying my best !
I’ve been insecure about my weight for about a year now 😅 because in elementary school I never really noticed but when I started middle school I began to be insecure about my fingers, my belly, my arms, my legs, everything. I’ve been trying to eat healthier and work out a bit but I have no motivation. I don’t have a scale, either. All it is is me telling myself, “ugh you’re so ugly you need to get skinny or else you’ll fail P.E.” Thank you for this video.
I have been dropping weight like never before, applying the diet plan *2WeightLossFast. Com* . It’s been the most successful strategy I’ve ever implemented. Just simply visit and read all the info.?
this was so interesting to watch thank you! I am 7 weeks into my weightless journey and ive lost 1.5 pounds so far, my goal is 4/5 stone or just till I feel comfortable! Im doing Chloe ting 2 week ab workout and would definitely recommend it!! its super hard but ive lost 3.9 pounds the first week!
When u said its embarrassing about being that big do u mean in general or just u, because all bodies are amazing but this really helped me to be more motivated x
Jess 02x she definitely meant just her personal experience 💓 you should feel confident because like you said, all bodies are amazing!! Good luck on your journey xxx
Love this! It inspired me to start my journey and record my progress on RU-vid. I'm doing a 20-day detox juice fast. I'm 120lbs overweight due to my height 5”1 I just had a baby... But I'm ready to shed this negative weight! Looking for all the inspo and motivation I can get!💕💕
I want to discredit the misconception that one MUST exercise to lose weight. When I was 20, I went from 180 to 114 by cutting sugar, carbs, meat and sugar out of my diet. I did eat fish and eggs. I gained back most of the weight after traumas, but I maintanted 114 for about 6-7 years, before slowly gaining back the weight. I turned 30 last year and weighed in at 162.8 pounds. I bought a scale that configures to my phone ( shows fat, muscle, water, etc), and I decided to eat meat this time around, cut carbs, sugar ( except 40 calorie hot chocolate) and eat purely veggies and meats including a ton of salmon. I haven't stepped foot in the gym, haven't gone for runs, stretched, yoga. And I've lost 25.4 pounds in 4 months.
Leanne I can only speak for myself but since I started eating healthy meals I don’t want to eat McDonald’s anymore because it’s just not as healthy as other meals 😂
Even though I stopped working out a while ago because I was too busy with exams, I’ve always eaten healthy and once you start, McDonald’s and bad foods don’t feel as appetising anymore. You start to crave them less and less!
I lost about 40 pounds my senior year of high school (2017). I feel like I’ve gained most of it back this year, but that’s due to not going to the gym and eating the food in my college’s cafeteria. I’ve started going back to the gym. I haven’t been in a few weeks. I need to start eating better.
Honestly I just weighed myself and I put on 28 pounds in a month, I just started crying and it led me to this video ( I’m not. Thin and 28 pounds makes a big difference)
Hey Tillia i am so excited for you to move to Paris i love you so much and i think you should do the only eating fast food for 24hrs video. Love you so much . Mwahh
I’m in the process of trying to loose weight, since January I’ve lost 8lbs but I now seem to be stuck. I’m such a fussy eater like massively so for me it’s hard. I’ve got a personal trainer so working out is easy it’s just the eating part. Any tips for a fussy eater?! 😩
I am not that overweight but I really don’t feel the best in my skin. I way around 160 pounds and am 5’5. Over the summer I worked out every day and made my own meals, but it didn’t do much. I kind of gave up after that and now I’m ready to try again. I’m determined to get there and I’m starting now. Thanks for the motivation and the tips.
How did you start out? When you realised you wanted to reduce your fat and increase muscle, what were your first steps? Other than diet, did you start doing weights and cardio? Xxx
I'm sure this comment will bore some of you, as I'm also sure it will help. So back to year 7, I had people commenting on my weight all the time and it was such a forbidden topic to speak about with the school counsellor, thats how insecure about myself I was. So as many of us do, I was scrolling through my youtube reccommended videos until I stumbled upon a video called "I starved myself for 30 days and I lost ** this much ** weight". It was quite an inspirational video for me at the time, and the person who uploaded the video seemed healthy and happy with the result! So I copied what had been done in the video. I couldn't make it past 3 days without feeling faint. I had always been on the heavier-chubbier side, but nowhere near obese, even now. So that was a little backstory. Ever since that video I had been falling into states of disorderly eating. Bulemia, and mental anorexia. "Just because you don't look anorexic, doesn't mean you aren't". I agree with this motto. I have relapsed so many times I can't count. It's a melancholic cycle ready to haunt you with the slightest thought. The though of it relapsing to this day still terrifies the shit out of me. Losing weight healthily was never an option. This video has helped me so much. It's changed my mindset in a way I'm sure will benefit me in many ways. I'm now year 10 (going into year 11 due to pandemic circumstances) and it's been a few days since I relapsed. And I dont know if I'm tired, or in a delusory state, but I feel like I can do it. Lose weight healthily I mean. Although I had tried it a numerous amount of times, my self discipline was never enough. But during quarentine, I've had time to think, and sort my mess out. I have the motivation I wish I had 3 years ago when this shitshow started. I'm going to try, without keeping people 'updated' unless necessary. This journey is for me and is my own. I don't want to be trapped in this never ending cycle any more. Starting today, no, now, I will try for me and my own health. Sending my love to people who have also been or are going through this painful solitude. You have my heart and you are certainly not alone. Sending my love 💌
How much weight did you lose? I've been using the app for 3 1/2 months now and lost about 18 pounds so far. But the last few weeks not much is happening. I got down to a certain # on the scale weeks ago (193) and have been up and down between this and 200 since. I'm counting calories every day. I'm exercising when I can. Had knee replacement 4 months ago. I'm older (49). Take meds for hypothyroidism. I'm happy to have lost Some of the weight but I have 50 more pounds to go and they are just hanging on for dear life. 😒
Why does everyone love rowing machine I did 500 pull things in about 4 minutes ( because it was for sports day so I tried because I have losing ) anyway when I stood up I fell over and couldn’t get up
Loving the positivity here 💜 All it takes is 1 baby step to start. Cutting out 1 soft drink in a day is enough to get the ball rolling. You’re already saving 150 calories. Remember, moving around adds up throughout the day. Heck, I even jog on the spot and do star jumps while my prepped meals are in the microwave 😂💪🏻
You look so amazing girl. Thanks for the tips!! I will start my health lifestyle again, it’s hard at the beginning but this time I’m going to go through it!! NEW SUBSCRIBER HERE ❤️👌🏼
This keeps showing up on my recommend page repeatedly and I just didn't want to watch it because i was afraid it would be the same old "Oh i cut out all processed sugars and carbs and I kept my calories under 1300/ day" which is SO unsustainable and triggering. I love your video. You're a great example of the fact that any lifestyle change you can't imagine doing for a long time is not a lifestyle change you should consider! Thanks a ton for being honest and giving off the RIGHT example to your viewers
Only just started this video but just wanted to say a shout out to My Fitness Pal; I lost 3 & a half stone using it (mostly pregnancy weight & I've maintained it) It's absolutely amazing. Well done on your weight loss. 😘✌ x
