This is an older story. The update is that he ended up passing to have her stuff delivered to her parents, and paid for a funeral for them, in exchange for them never contacting him again.
I had a fairly identical Christmas present for 2012. It really tore the kids up for a while though. My daughter was fourteen at the time, and spent four years hating me from the three years of parental alienation her mother put her through.
While an early death is awful there can also be another side. I stuck out a marriage for 19 years with the vast majority of it being unhappy and miserable. Last few years we only roommates that fought a lot. I felt some pity for her as she had no job prospects and would have had to move in with her harpy of a mother if we split. But I did my duty and have to admit to a measure of relief to finally be free.
Indeed but it’s very sadly better like this because imagine if a child that has a cheater manipulator and even a abuser as a mother and a home wrecker and possibly worse for a father to raise that child plus being exposed to alcohol while in the womb is never good. The child would likely be malformed and possibly neglected or abused by its parents. Mind you this isn’t a justification only a possibility of its future that was stripped from it if the child could be raised it should. It was innocent and that shouldn’t be forgotten.
Baby was probably delivered. Five months ranges from 20 weeks to 23 weeks, plus she could be farther along at Christmas Eve as it doesn’t state the date she was five months. It never does mention the baby’s death, so I assume it’s alive still.
