This is my opinion as a person and as an asian. My culture and speech is like any other. It's meant to be shared, respected, appreciated and celebrated by everyone. It is not something that can be owned.I know racism exists, and if you're offended, thats fine. But I you can't be getting offended on someone else's behalf.
@@wren5685 show this to any Asian person, and they wouldn't get mad or feel uncomfortable in anyway unless it was a direct mock. Asians mock how Americans speak, cook, and mannerisms as well. In fact most cultures do, just because you were taught to be offended doesn't mean everyone should act like a bitch about a joke.
The reason why America cannot and never will be a unified melting pot of a country is because of people who think like this comment section. Racist this racist that.
If you’re calling this racist, all the millions of people who have out on a British accent for any reason are all racists,,,and don’t act like you haven’t done it. Either by repeating a Harry Potter quote or just saying something like, “I’m fabulous darling.” It’s so incredibly popular and this is in comparison the exact same.
People crying so much about the accent being racist, ima need yall to chill, on that same note it’s racist when anyone says “Colorado” or “Los Angeles” or “New Mexico” list can go on, even the word “Hibachi” they’re all in different languages and you all pronounce them in English with an American pronunciation. Congrats, when applying you’re “knowledge” of racism, you’re all racists now 🎉
@@JoeBoKnowshow is it racist? He’s not making fun of the accent he’s trying to entertain his kids with an Asian accent. I haven’t seen a single Asian person in these comments actually offended why are you getting offended on someone else’s behalf? There’s no call for it and they’re not bothered by it either. Virtue signaling at its finest. Stop pretending like minorities don’t have a voice because they do and THEY should get the final say on what’s okay regarding their culture and not you. Some might say that’s racist speaking for a minority group when you’re not a part of it
"My wife wanted a hibachi style dinner for Mother's Day". He proceeds only making it for the kids and we never see the wife. Haha Sending love from Los Angeles 💜💛
I don’t even know what to say to this, whether it’s the Asian accent, or the fact that he stuck with it throughout the whole bit he could’ve easily just he does realize that they’re regular people who work at hibachi grill
Idk why ur saying it’s racist he’s just tryna do the accent for his wife and I don’t think he had any harmful intentions sooo idk if I’m wrong but that’s just how I see it
