I remember reading "Snow" all the time, as a kid...a true classic. I really like the idea of greenery with white lights to keep the festive spirit while not being Christmas decor.
I usually start decorating my house for Valentine’s Day. I keep red ornaments in the vases from Christmas. That awesome the kids get excited about the winter books.

I just wanted to say hello. This video popped up in my feed and I had to check it out, because I'm a fellow Holly and homeschool mom too. My kids were enjoying a lot of the Jan Brett books over our Christmas break. They are so beautiful and the pictures have so much detail, which helps kids to stay engaged in the story, even if they are familiar with it. We started last year observing a 12 days of Christmas approach and not taking our tree down until Jan. 6th. So, our tree is still up, but I agree that you can keep "winter" decorations up for the winter months.

I’m gonna say I’m looking at my Christmas tree right now. Enjoying the lights on it. Decorations are off but it sure is pretty. I’ll leave it up a few more days.😊

We used to do winter decor, but we found for our family personally having no decor for 2 weeks is a great reset for us. After 2 weeks of no decor, we decorate for Valentine's Day.
Thanks needed this.First year homeschooling. 5,6, 8 I left up lots of winter decor. I was trying to think what the kids could study for winter. I got books on blizzards the one in 1888 was really bad

We don’t have winter here and now we are travel schooling we will see a few weeks of winter!!! Our decor is surf decor and we add a navity and Christmas decor that isn’t wintery!!! Sorry I can’t spell!!! My kids kno it’s winter in other places at Christmas!!! They watch films!!! Our winter is darker but still hot!!! I tell ppl that they don’t kno what winter is!!!
I grew up in Arizona, so I really never know winter with snow 😄 Only if we took a drive up to the mountains for sledding - which we did maybe once ever other year. Yes! The movies I watched that had snowy winters always fascinated me as a child! Thanks for watching guys 💙
