Looking at his lines, the guy on the Ducati definitely knows the road and remembers all the corners by heart. Wonder how many times he has riden that stretch of tarmac before.

Good ride, unfortunately your not a local to compete everyday like this guy obliviously has. But you have the heart to beat this guy one day. That's a clean 696. I'm trying to decide between the Akra or SC Project exhaust on my 796. Crazy how easy you can outclass sport bikes with more than 2x the power and tech on that little baby Monster.
I just thought about it! Was that the same 696 guy I saw in your video a while ago .. this guy did ride very smooth and clean! Love his riding ! Just on point . Also love this 696 of course , super lightweight , want to get one myself next year.
Couldn’t agree more. Got the 950 Hyper couple months ago. Horsepower is the measurement of how work an engine will do. Torque is the measurement of how hard the engine will do the work.

Ya, the Ducati rider is smooth, and had better lines that make it smoother and easier to ride with less physical effort. Takes time and a clear head to get to that level. Not everyone can or wants to. Nice video.
The V twin ducatis have a hell of a lot of punch once in and leant over, and out of corners, you dont have to wind them up like a multi cyclinder bike. This 'old' Monster is ideal for these fabulous roads
Hell yeah , i had a supersport 20 yrs. ago, reminded me of my 75 850 Norton minus the obvious problems! I'm 67 and have owned a shitload of bikes, mostly europe and Japanese , an ironhead sportster. All bikes are the shit! I'm on a Gsxs 750 right now, good basic bike!

In addition to that, I think the bike in the video is a 696, and that model is a real bike because of its lightness and size. If, in addition to this, you add its twin-cylinder engine full of torque at low revs and a driver who handles himself well, it is normal for him to push any Japanese or European 4-cylinder in-line sports car, even if it is a 1000cc, which is also precisely not the best bike for a mountain road with that kind of curves. Aircooled Monster 696, 80hp, no electronic aids more effective than any liter bike missile in this kind of twisty roads, where knowledge of the curve ahead is crucial. You did the right thing by not searching for your limit.
Very good riding … that Ducati Monster is a great bike for the Tail. I found the V4 to big of a bike for the little 15 mph horseshoe corners of the Dragon. I think the Skyway is better for the liter bikes. Also, going pass Deals Gap gas station and riding to the next Skyway gas station is a great ride. See y’all in a few weeks.

Gaped idk about that more like "Torched", that guy went full Slayer mode. Nevertheless there are not many ppl out there that can actually gap Max, so hats off to the other rider and Max.

Def gapped ya. Positions were 👌🏽 on every turn. Ppl saying it was a matter of bike vs bike here. Moto’s were def same but he was smoking it. Still good riding tho Eddie. He’s def a Class A rider… keep it upright tho man.
This reminded me on first Wristy' Days on the Dragon last Year, when super-fast R6, I believe, gapped him and Wristy commented "Ouch I have some Work to do"....Work out baebeee, here we go again..!!! Damn I hate these Summer-stream-blackouts, but at least we get some nice Viddies...and all the FB reels of course, but live-stream would be great, if any possible..? Maybe through mobile-FB, or some "Wi-fi-router-amplifier", high up on some Tree..?! We need Mark Raddesign there, to check it out...8-))))

Shit. In by MINI I’m in my 40’s. I know I’m leaving some speed on the table but I’m looking at 50’s. Shit. That’s a little more confidence than I have. Mistakes are costly; and in your case mistakes are deadly. I don’t know if I can do it, the cost would be too high if I made an error. Never mind the money , the pain.
this road is well suited for 600's.certainly too tight for big '''beeks'''',it's 2-3...2-3 all the time. the dude has faster corner entries and mid corner speed.you may compensate in the short straight lines but this road is so full of twisties that a dude with a good knowleadge f that road on a 600's would be faster by the word go than a ''''casual''''on a thousand.
bro your no doubt a beast on a bike but please start traveling from track to track around the U.S. and showing how that goes what tracks have what rules and regs that type of shit instead of crashing another bike and or getting hurt again or let's hope not something worse we as fans of your content don't want you to record yourself going to forever sleep one day while having fun doing something we all love doing tracks are better than the public roads anyway you can actually race no speed limit no traffic better pavement clear line of sight through curves and a layout that is made to be twisted and have straights to open up on plus most places have medical staff on stand by its all around a better choice for what you guys do just saying stay safe
when people talk shit about my monster i say nothing on straight i understand them but in the twisties they dont understand that the ducatis or fucking insane if u can maximized that hp
Watched a number of his vids, he normally rides the twisties in 2nd. I think he was a little shook up here and didn't even realize he was in 1st for that long.
I just met your son through this video and I am impressed by his symbiotic relationship with his bike. He appears to be in total harmony with the road and peacefully going about doing what he was born to do. I’ll share this with my friends as something for us all to aspire to.
