EXACTLY 💯 Do people not realize with alllllll the cards they're sending in that it actually causes values to drop? At least these were mainly hits. I've seen dumbasses send base/#d cards in. Why send in a card that is worth what a lot are just to try and make a few bucks? Used to be, before the covid invasion, people were a bit more selective. People have gone crazy in this hobby the last few years. I'd like to just have all the $$ he's gonna spend Xs2 to get them graded twice. Only people with deep pockets/investors grade like this, not TRUE collectors. SMDH.

Everybody wants their cards to get gem mint, but nobody seems to want to acknowledge the grade of the card is the grade before the grading is done. It's not schrodingers grade where every card is a 10 it just depends on the grader. I love that BGS isn't throwing 10s around like nothing. A 10 means 10 out of 10. No better. Nothing wrong, flawless perfect. But a PSA 10? That's anything from an 8.5 to a 10. If you're taking a test and get 85 out of 100 did you get a perfect 100%? NO!

@@andrewcaroselli3189 I mean, the fact that you just grade stuff because it "looks cool" hoping to get a high grade says a lot. Maybe it's just for content, but expecting 9.5s on thick stock Panini cards is a little much. Sure, every company really fucks up the some cards, but 8.0 is what you should expect grading cards with literally 8 corners and 8 edges, Paninis notoriously bad surfaces (on thicker stock cards) and when you already point out that you don't send something to PSA due to the poor centering. We all send stuff we just like in for grading, but being annoyed they don't gem speaks volumes

2:50 - I would not crack any Honors cards out of their casing. They are buy backs that they hand number and don't bother stamping (stamps used to identify most buy backs). Its a headache to try and prove you have a real Honors buyback.

By the way, 8.5 is the gold standard for thick RPA cards . That’s actually a good grade

Send them to psa and turn those bgs 8.5 and 9s into psa 8s. These thick cards probably average an 8.5, so not really that surprising. I think you went into this with too high of expectations. Also as a tip, always make sure. You’re checking out the backs on these things, sometimes they grade the backs tough.

And some say BGS blindly hands out Gem Mint grades. Obviously not true. When a card is a BGS true gem, it’s the same quality card as a PSA 10.

This is just proof of how difficult it is to get good grades from BGS. SINCE the boom in 2020, BGS 9.5's have gone down in value and have become really disrespected for ni reason. It tells me a lot of newer collectors still don't understand the grading services. It doesn't have to have a 10 on it to be a GEM. (Fantastic cards in the submission though!)

@@andrewcaroselli3189 I saw a guy that sent in cards to PSA. Just got them back and there was a card graded 1. A brand new card- 1. I've seen tobacco baseball cards torn that grade better than that. WTF??? Assumed maybe it was a 10 and the 0 didn't get typed in. No waaaay a 1. Had NEVER seen a 1 with a brand new card. 😂 I keep seeing stories. I wanted to send in a couple Mahomes rookies for my PC. Never grade cards, but now afraid to. 😂

You sent alot of thicker cards, im not too surprised of your grades alot of time a 9 or 8.5 is very good for those thick cards. You gotta really be realistic about the thick cards bro

Did my first ever submission with them and not only did they take 8 months to grade but they sent my cards to the wrong address. I have been fighting with their poor CS for months now

No, he sent in mainly thick RPAs. It is normal for them to grade like that that's why most don't grade every halfway decent card they get. Only people in it for $$$.

Thick cards always grade like this. He should've known that before sending them. And cards like 1/1s 2/2s, etc...do not need to be graded in the 1st place.

I think someone at BGS must not like your channel or maybe your grader hasn’t been laid in a few years or his wife took the house and kids and he’s just mad at the world and he decided to take out his life problems on your grading order…man that was rough…my condolences…anyone thinking of sending any cards to BGS anytime soon? 😂
