@@masterofclowning the not-sex-appeal part is obvious, the aro/ace thing is not nearly as obvious and something i'd probably never assume on my own. (Your response is comming across to me as overly agressive and accusational, thus why i come across as a tad defensive, maybe this was not your intent, maybe that sass was not even directed at me, idfk uuuh sorry if so)
@@SanicAdventurei like her accent, though, i don't pay any attention to it most of the time unless she says it herself, my reason is i have an english teacher with a STRONG AF british accent, her "fast speeking" seems normal to me since it ain't fast enough to stop someone from understanding her words Also, yes, her accent isn't really as strong as haters and rin herself make it out to be, unless you actually pay attention to it then it might actually sound strong
I reset myself and while reseting i compile my files and arrange them together and replace so many of my workers per minuite just for them to attack me and others sometimes. And they dont even pay me for doing MY job. Instead I pay them. And the things i told you isnt even the tip of the iceberg about my job
"You're just trying to get money out of people using sexappeal." Implying that they find Rin attractive. To each their own, I guess. Rin's whitty and sassy character does have some charm to it...
I don't know, for me, as soon as I found Rin, something just clicked for me. I don't really keep up with streams or anything, I mostly just watch her shorts, but there's something about her persona that I quite like. Truly, different strokes for different folks
The idea that Rin - one of the least sexualised Vtubers ever - relies on sex appeal is hilarious. I guess that's people who know nothing about it that just assume everyone is down bad (which is true, but that's not the point).
I love how thr common response here is :"Of course Rin isn't attractive, you doofus. We're just here to hear the funny Brit say Blahaj over and over again and being bullied by her mother. Peak content right there!"
@@lizz-the-dragon2727 From the top of my head, these are just the English ones and this is from recent memory. I've struggled to pronounce "enthusiasm" and "proficiency." Words that repeat a single syllable more than twice are an issue too. Imagine if I tried to pronounce "Hahahaha" with the correct amount of repetition for that syllable. This doesn't seem like a big deal, but I like Japanese stuff and this is where I'm really tested (usually, I fail). Half the time, I mispronounce the anime, "Durarara" for repeating that syllable 3 times. And Blåhaj? You can forget me pronouncing that one right. I'm not even sure what pronunciation disaster I'd come out with for that word. Lately, I've been talking a lot, so occasionally, words stop sounding like words. I'm pretty sure this is my deal with "proficiency." Enthusiasm is a word I can pronounce but know I have mispronounced in the recent past. Unfortunately, I can't remember other examples. I just stumble on pronouncing things right and I have to remind people that English is the only language I'm fluent in.
@@that_one_libra419.9 I don't know how I'd begin to even attempt to pronounce that word correctly. My best guess is I'd ignore the accent mark and assume the "j" is silent. This approach to "pronunciation" doesn't sound like how Rin pronounces it.
“You’re trying o get money out of people using sex appeal” Meanwhile, Rin is fully covered up. The most sex appeal Rin has is the fact they’re a Prince. Even then, I don’t think that would count
Oh and with those comments that complain all the time with "You don't do real work" type things, if you follow up on those and track them back to their actual lives they are either unemployed or have the cushiest jobs imaginable.
The last time I tried looking into someone online I dead-ended immediately, so it kinda sounds like you've either searched for people several times before or are making baseless insults about people you (rightfully) don't like to make them seem even less likable.
A good rule of thumb, honestly. -Am I buying BLAHAJ. If not, am I doing something that will help me buy BLAHAJ (like getting money to spend on BLAHAJ)? If you can't answer yes to either questions, what the heck are you even doing with your life?
Never seen you before, this just popped up in my feed and I had to look. Don't usually follow vtubers but in one video you made me want to follow you and see if you have that snarky attitude in every video, because that makes you one of MY peeps. 😏😁😎 Subscribed!
I might've not have the chance to check one of her streams due to so much happening in my personal life, but she seems like a sweet young woman, and she deserves more love than hate.
I love you (As a viewer; not sure if this needed clarification or not). Very entertaining content and great character design. Haters gonna hate but I'm gonna keep watching your RU-vid shorts.
As a native Swedish speaker, I'd just like to say that Rin's pronunciation of "blåhaj" is not bad at all. If she'd emphasize the second syllable of the word instead of the first, she'd pretty much be able to pass for a Swede. But ngl, I prefer the way she says "blahaj" instead. It's adorable.
I get why people complain about the sex appeal (both the conventional sex appeal of Juna and Pochi and the 😭😭😭 appeal of Yuko, Fuyo, and Riro), but Rin, of all people? No offense to her, she looks GREAT, but not really in a "sexy" way? If thar makes sense?
Course not you fool. She has Blahaj appeal. Much more valuable. Also scuff appeal, also incredibly valuable. Like a stupid puppy that keeps bumping into you
People don't realize that being female on the internet doesn't automatically mean you're projecting sex appeal. This is made worse by her being a vtuber and people not realizing those aren't always using sex appeal either.
@TheJUGGALO1113 No It does not immediately mean sex appeal The Personnel Draws and more people If you're a retarded Feminist you're going to get a lot less of you Same if you're just a raging b**** Not every man looks for the same thing get it through your thick head.
i cant be the only one who absolutely loves rins accent, their accents making me practice and learn how to imitate accents so i can get more confident with my voice
The fact that some people seem to think you try to get money from your viewers through sex appeal and not by being hilariously inept at all facets of everyday existence is mind boggling to me. Especially given the fact that, and I mean no disrespect when I say this, I've seen floor lamps with more sex appeal.
I recently (and by that I mean this last Saturday) set off for an adventure to acquire my own Blåhaj. Which just means me and my friends were close enough to Ikea by accident and I mentioned that I wanna get one at some point. So they changed the route for me which was nice. And now Mako is chilling with my Splatoon Squid plushie.
Yes, because it isn't "blahaj", it's "blåhaj". That letter Å is pronounced similarly to the letter O (which is why we call it the "Swedish O" in Finnish).
@@Firehawk376 To be even more specific it is how the letter J is actually pronounced in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Blåhaj per IPA phonetic notation: [ˈbloːhaj]
Oh, your Blåhaj pronounciation is actually really good, coming from a Swede lol. Genuinely though, don't stop saying Blahaj lol. It's very entertaining-
I will have you know that when i was younger I had to get up half an hour before I went to bed, drink a cup of sulphuric acid, work twenty-nine hours a day down mill, and pay mill owner for permission to come to work, and when I got home, my father and mother would kill me, and dance about on my grave singing 'Hallelujah.'
Wait... there are people accusing you of relying on sex appeal? How? What? There's nothing suggestive on this outfit and the only way you could be more covered is if you had a veil on. I don't get the internet sometimes... Internet can be very dumb.
i mean, those same ppl think woman = sex appeal. so thats honestly a them problem if they think she looks sexually appealing in the first place. if the only thing you see in her is “sex appeal”, then that says more about you in how you view women than anything. she’s funny, relatable, quirky, adorkable, and just… everything tbh.
AH! This is the first time I've heard a non-Scandinavian say Blåhaj correctly! Granted, I've never really heard anyone else even try to pronounce Blåhaj so… XD
"What do you MEAN the popular Vtuber doesn't make content tailored towards me in particular, this is truly surprising and unforeseeable as the world clearly revolves around me!!!" Honestly what it looks like reading hate comments sometimes
She's a masculine lady with a snazzy outfit, snappy personality, and an acceptably British accent. Like, men like this are at the center of thousands of romance novels, is it really a surprise that a woman could pull it off too?
I don't watch most vtubers religiously, heck hardly any at all, but I like your style. Your voice is pleasing. Your model is lovely. Your accident is charming. And your content is both entertaining and enlightening. Screw the haters, you're a Gem and a Queen. And I hope this comment can bring at least a small smirk to your face if anything. Have a blessed day! 😊
I discovered you by shorts like this one and only recently started watching your vod. I love your accent and i like how fast you talk (i don't understand everything everytime but it's the same even with slower speaking vtuber, english not beibg my first language). Until now i didn't really like shark but i'm starting to see their appeal. And god, i love skrunkly, if you finally convince Idol to make skrunkly merch, i'll buy one as soon as i can.
As a Swede, the revelation that you pronounce it as blahaj instead of blåhaj which you can perfectly pronounce hurt unimaginable much *Pedro Pascal holding his chest meme*
GRRRRR IM MAD BECAUSE IM WILLINGLY WATCHING CONTENT THAT I DONT ENJOY SO INSTEAD OF JUST WATCHING SOMETHING ELSE I HAVE TO TELL EVERYONE REEEEEEEEEE love you rin (;
The problem is that the people who write long comments always want you to change something, but those who write the short comments sting because it’s not something you did or any particular mannerism, they just don’t like you.
We all like you. You are an amazing person. There are plenty of people whose lives are enriched and uplifted by hearing you speak. You are Capturing Radiance in your hands and giving it back to the people. You have a following because people DO like you and LOVE you. You make the sun shine that much brighter to light up the darker places. You are a shining star of bright light to illuminate the darkness. I LOVE YOU. ❤️
One of my pet peeves is "Victim Olympics". Me: "Ugh! I wish this job paid more..." Person: "There are starving kids who'd be happy to get paid a dollar! Be grateful!" Me: "Using someone else's problems to downplay mine isn't the play you think it is. All you've done is promote toxic positivity. My issues are still relevant because they still affect me and, by extension, the people around me."
It really sets me off, too. We could bond and iron out so many things in society, if only we, as a society, throw off this absurd toxic positivity that only serves to put us at one another's throats
The "I work every day and I have no free time" comments always astound me. Like, my guy, if you have no free time: how, why and when are you writing this comment on a thing you self admittedly claim not to care about?
at this point. ikea should just open up a business account with you where they just auto bill you and send you sharks every youtube payday. have a room even MORE full of them
