I am a South African citizen currently living in Mozambique. Look, I have never seen anything like what I saw in Mozambicque before, the weather is suitable for agriculture throughout the year. I was astonished to see people with tractors in March planting and thought to myself that they were crazy. However a few days ago I visited those areas and witnessed a miracle as the mealies were so grown and looking beautiful. I then realized how mismanaged Africa is. I am so inspired so inspired by this story. I am going back to farming...

there is no mismanagement bro, external actors are holding weapons to people and saying you as a people cant exploit your agriculture, education and medicine. Stop blaming leaders.
@1murkeybadmayn
@1murkeybadmayn 2 года назад
@@josephjames6339 What the hell are you on about?? It is mismanaged and if leaders are in charge of the policies, quotas and guns, they do the mismanaging. For example, people cannot farm in Northern Nigeria due to bandits and herdsmen. Many people speculate the government are lackadaisical about the situation because the President is from one of the warring tribes. That's just one example out of many. If you're not African and have no idea how things run, don't come here projecting what you think you know.

As a South African, I respect Zimbabweans for taking back their land. The illegal sanctions will pass soon. And Zim will be the "bread basket " of SADC again.
@wilf_moyo

The biggest sanction Zimbabwe imposed upon itself it's voting for ZanuPF and corruption. Even if The West allow ZanuPF to trade freely, all ZanuPF will do it to go for shopping sprees and buying properties there. If Mnangagwa and ZanuPF stop corruption, sanctions will become eralevant

They revel in claiming my people cannot farm the land after taking it back. At the same time, they ask the Zimbabwean gov't to cough up $3.5bn it doesn't have to compensate them (a word they scoff at when Africa mentions it) so they can build back their own farms. Nobody extends similar help to my people. It's a race where one competitor is in an upright position whilst the other crawls on all fours. But my people will build their own farms. Gradually, bit by bit, my people will build. Land is everything. By all means, TAKE your land. It's yours. Power to you, ma'am 💪🏿

Growing up in southwestern Ethiopia with subsistence unmechanized family farmlands, my first love was to be a famer. I thought farmers were self driven, patient and had the endurance to work the land and feed the nation. I later found it was a hard life and I did not have what it took to be one. I am now a an engineer in California surrounded by beautiful modern farms that feed the nation. Listening to this lady and seeing the farm, rekindled my first passion. It is too late for me but wish her and other young African farmer well in these endeavors.

@Yigermal Metew. It's only too late when you are in the grave. Explore that first passion by investing little by little back in Ethiopia. Copy some of the good agricultural practices where you currently are and create generational wealth for your children and grand children.

You can still invest in farming in Ethiopia without doing the farming yourself.. . You can create jobs in farming and feed Ethiopia...Even billionnaires in the USA are buying farming lands...

Such a fabulous lady putting her country first. Returning home to her family land doing the hard work. Sticking with it to succession. She knows a country needs to be able to feed it's self then others. If every African thought like this lady things well improve for Africa so fast. Plenty of blessings and prosperity to Zimbabwe.

I like her story. From Zimbabwe and went to Malaysia. I'm from Zambia, Neighboring Zimbabwe. I was in Singapore neighbouring Malaysia. Her story about Commercial Farming in ZIMBO and her story about farming , rising from broken marriage ashes to dust herself and live for Children and her family is what many women should do. Find profitable passion to engage in work instead of mischief to survive. May God bless your work Wode Maya and the Commercial Farmer in Zimbo.

Yes you married a fool of a husband my friend but see how God responded to your cry. He made you a rich woman. If you decide to take me as your friend I will change your story. I’m ready to support your farming business financially and I love your energy, your dedication and tenacity. I live in Atlanta Georgia USA and don’t allow distance to stop you from reaching out to me. Wode Maya will help you find me. I am waiting.

Well done Wode Maya. You have brought out a side of Zimbabwe that most people do not know about. You are the bona fide Ambassador of Africa. I think you deserve international recogntion and you have changed many mindsets and also exonerated those of us who have been singing about the wealth and beauty of Africa. Keep shining the light and dont give up. More health and love to you and yours. May God continue to enlarge your territory. Michelle, well done Sis. You are a great inspiration. Continue growing. We are cheering you on. 🙂

This story is inspiring to learn how much that lady was willing to carry on her father's legacy hopefully her sons and others will understand the importance of keeping land for generations.. Wode Maya, we are told that the Ukraine supplies grains to many African nations,, so the war could lead to starvation so farming is necessary for food security.

Bros, I’m not Making this Stuff Up but those People who Go about Stealing the Small Scale Farmer’s Transformers, really need to be Dealt with Harshly whenever they are Caught. This is the Second time on this Video Platform, where the Small Scale Farmers must Bear the Headache of Protecting their Farms from Theft of Essential Farming Equipments. This should be a Wake up Call to the Government of Zimbabwe and all Countries where Small Scale Farming Exist among Our People.

I really enjoyed this interview. It’s great to see this young lady being a GREAT mother to her country; she’s a nurturer not just for her kids but also Zimbabwean. She’s a great inspiration not just for young women but also an adult like myself; one day I see myself running a small farmer just to keep myself busy. 👍🏽

I think the Zimbabwean Government-Private Partnership Initiative must be the model for other African countries to adapt, to create jobs for the citizenry. Madam Michelle is an example of the African Virtuous "Non Self-Pettiness and Revengeful Divorcee Syndrome," unlike the usual divorcee stories we are accustomed to. And thank you Wode Maya for telling the story in a positive way to encouraging our sister, wives, and mothers. African Union MUST recognized and award you a medal for bringing out positive stories of MOTHER AFRICA. Thank you!
