I learned this today at draft, but yeah some cards in the list become basically unusable now.

I didn't know that, i was thinking to use Enterprising Scallywag treasure, to sacrifice at my turn and every turn create a new treasure. Sad.

Mycotyrant is gas. But yeah tokens don't count towards descend. Doesn't really end up mattering if you have the right cards in the build though. Underealm Lich + Greater Good with Mycotyrant on board can rapidly turn 4 tokens into 12+, and THEN GG can be used with Mycotyrant to refill the hand, and ALL of it can be done on curve, which is bonkers value imo.

He definitely is great even with just mill, but would have made some changes to the deck knowing tokens don't work (Bootleggers Stash cough, cough)

@@TheEditingMage honestly, not only mill, he's really good with things that make a lot of saprolings like spormound, Korozda Guildmage & Mycoloth, and you can fill in a lot of the oopsie cards with other fungus, some of the older ones interacted with saprolings extremely meaningfully lol

note that Sandswirl Wanderglyph ability is still up for the turn even if John killed it, he has played multiple spells so he couldn't attack Tom

Yeah, I guess it becomes very obvious that we haven't played (or sometimes read) cards from the new set, even more so for the rulings.

Note Share the Spoils says "may cast A card OR A spell" so only one per turn

Could you explain why that wording restricts it to once a turn? I understand now that thats how it should work, but I still don't quite get the wording aspect.

The conjunction of OR means you may choose 1 if the conjunction was AND you could do both also A is singular

@@TheEditingMage it lets you play "a" land or cast "a" spell, not "play lands or cast spells". That's what restricts it to once a turn. The "or" restricts you from playing one land _and_ casting one spell on the same turn

I love tetzin, is really fun to play, you can also use the transform part of the everflowing well + mysterious tome to transform any card, I used that interaction once to transform an azor's gateway

That is indeed very cool, if you want to go more into that you could even use Town Gossipmonger or Captive Weird for the combo. But since you already have plenty in Tetzin itself (Galleon, Dowsing Device, Golden G.) you probably don't need it.

funny Things about tetzin: When you craft the permanent leaves the field , so if tetzin is on the field and the craftet artifact has the artifact type on both sides it will trigger tetzin again. And second because its a new permanent entering it wont keep its properties like counters and so on , so it will come in untapped. The difference between crafting and flipping and so on is so wierd.
