Just bought the game, and it will be my first tabletop RPG, besides games like Descent. (Which I found cumbersome having to physically set up pieces for movement for any secenerio) However, I have purchased music and books from Varg before, and appreciate his intuitive perspective of our heathen ancestors. What interests me in this game is that it sounds like it is true to the lore, which makes it much more engaging than liberal fantasy, and scalable in challenge.

We are currently putting together an online gaming session. I have also been elected as the Myth Master so I am writing a module for the first adventure. I cannot give a tentative completion date at this time, but I hope to have it ready in a few weeks.

If you will be fighting that is good decision but when you get more money later the game is good was to rest up after long sparing or fighter practice.

Looks interesting, but I see two potentially big problems right off the bat. (1) It doesn’t look like he’s selling it in PDF. I buy very few RPGs in print, and even then I also get the PDF because that’s what I would actually use. (2) The sample chapter uses Papyrus for the body typeface! If the whole book is like that, I don’t know how you guys read it.

ThegnThrand True. PDF's can be handy sometimes. But only as backup so to say. If i buy a game i want a real book not just a PDF.

ThuleanPerspective I like PDF's but only if i also has the book or books. The PDF can be helpful. like its easy to print out things i want. and stuff like that. But i would never chose a PDF over a real book if i had any choise

ThegnThrand That would be cool. Depending on who would be part of that group, i would love that. I don't think me and Varg would be a good mix, if that group would include him. But even if its without me, i am quite certain it is a good idea, for everyone. You probably would get even a good video (series) out of it. There are a few youtube channels that do it.

Oh, and while it might not help me, i'd be fine seeing the game, but you could consider maybe asking Skallagrim if he would be interested in playing it, and maybe another youtuber? You would have 3 guys and could cross platform promote your channel with it. Just a thought.

Maybe Skall, Lindy and you guys. Lindy seems to be interested in history and RPGs, and i think skall would be interested in the subject matter and he is also a gamer, so maybe he'd be interested in a Pen&Paper round. Getting the 4 of you and do a Hangout oneshot or something might be a great way to promote the channel if they are interested :)

While I love RPGs and I respect the research that you two do, I can't even consider purchasing this and supporting someone who has spent years spouting racist views and supporting national socialism. While I know he no longer claims to support NS views, he still holds racialist views and was even arrested a couple of years ago in France for inciting racial hatred against Jews and Muslims.

That looks like a really cool game, but I definitely won't be buying it; I know it might seem petty but I would never give money to varg. If it gets a pdf version I may steal it though ;)
