@@kumudprabha8097 Really. Right after we graduated, Myles and a good friend of mine started the "Learn to Burn" school of music, which is still in operation today. That's where I learned to play guitar!
The epitome of a professional rock star, who could care less he's a rock star; he's so locked into his craft. Thank you for what you give, Myles. The original, and this version stand alone independently for their own reasons.
Met him on tour with Fozzy. One of the nicest and humble guys I have ever met in the industry. A true musician, singer, and entertainer. He is the epitome of them all.
Fossy! What a joke band, do you think Jricko would have made it with out his clout from WWE , give me a break. They guy cant sing and uses autotune. Pathetic/
First time I've ever been able to hear every word clearly, really good lyrics. If a song sounds good acoustically then it's a good song full stop, no matter style it was originally intended.
on 15/7/2020 ,83 people have no idea why they came here and clicked dislike after realizing that Myles had more talent in his little finger nail than they had in there family history. Long live rock n roll. Thank you Myles Kennedy!
One of the best live singers I've ever seen.In Edinburgh 2010 on tour with Slash, complained of having a cold and apologised before singing Starlight in case he went out of tune then completely nailed it.
Full on rock star, just like when he was in Rockstar! Unmistakable voice. I was fully expecting him to let loose, but I was happy to hear him put out his version of one of Maiden's great songs.
When read the title I was happily expecting a cover. When he first started playing I thought he'd created an original of the same name, and then after he started singing I understood it was a re-imagining or altered arrangement of the original. However you spell it, I totally love it. Myles is freaking awesome!!
I love The Trooper, have heard it a million times... but I gotta say this is the first time I've actually understood all the lyrics! Great cover by Myles, of course!
Man, you continue to blow my mind and intensify my senses. I'm 52years old. I am a Maiden fan from the get go, but life has been kind to me and I've been able to enjoy the evolution of music since those spandex days. You are somewhat of an enigma to me, Myles. How do you pull it off? A musical mystery wrapped in an emotional riddle. Thank you for making this old boy get the bumps once again. Salute and Peace, brother.
Unplugged trooper that bruce and the boys would be nodding in approval im sure. Especially as myles has incorporated both lead guitars in his interpretation.. and thats insane.
Damn! This might be hands down the best acoustic version I've ever heard of any Maiden song. He really needs to sing in this voice more often without the constant high pitched voice. Goosebumps incoming. Awesome! 🤘🏻✌🏻
Miles Kennedy is by far my favorite singer, and has been since i found Alter Bridge about 8 years ago. The best concert i have ever been to was back when they toured with Saint Asonia, Disturbed and Breaking Benjamin in 2016. I still have my Alter Bridge band shirt that i bought at that concert, even wore it in few of my videos
Wow. Lovit.. As many feel I have much in common with this guy. Love is something he shows in his heart. I cry , i rock and i think of where my life needs to follow in any song I here from him. He's blessed while staying humble. Not a bad set up in this man. Thank you
@@holdingtonfarley4444 It's also that he played it very safe. Myles is no average campfire musician but he didn't bring his pipes to a screaming classic. He's said it's hard to contain his resonating boom in a small acoustic setting, but maybe he just doesn't want to compete with Bruce.
Not that I disagree about him being fantastic, but I don't really think he is underrated? He's critically acclaimed and has been working with some of the most successful people in the business these past 10 years or so.
@@ogulcanyolcu8714 he's been performing with Slash for years (who is more famous than Dave Mustaine) and performed with GN'R at the Hall of Fame induction. Add to that the fact Alter Bridge have sold millions of albums already... I'm pretty confident he's just as well known as DM these days - if not more. He's also universally lauded by critics. Like I said man, Myles is awesome but I really don't see how he's underrated. Seems like people know he's amazing?
Great guitar playing here. I've always loved Myles voice from the way he sang originally with MF4 to the way he sings now with better technique to preserve his voice but MY GOD he is sounding so good right now. Those low notes have so much gravity to them as he ages, the evolution of his voice is a marvellous thing to behold.
I’ve said it before and will continue to say that IM songs can be played in almost any style/genre...the songs are just solid! Well done, Myles!! Look forward to 20+ more years of hearing your voice!
Clearly, we have empirical proof, verifiable data that there are at least 155 LOSERS that do not like a Classic rearranged in a very original way. Myles is Myles, and for him to cover a tune, come up with a unique arrangement, and bring some fresh notes to said song sure does it a great respect and justice. Awesome stuff here.
Railway Hotel did you know he can actually shred? Look up what he did as a youth, dude could be a legit lead guitarist in any rock band and does some leads in Alter Bridge.
