easier said than done.. you probably havent been told ugly by people in real life, havent been compared to other people so easier for you to say that

@@kei-ana bold assumption there bud, but you’re very wrong. When I say shutting down and becoming envious of people around you is a horrible way of thinking, I speak from experience. When all that stuff was said about me way back when, I couldn’t even look myself in the mirror or feel comfortable in my own skin. I only started to feel better once I realized that: A. Holding on to that envy only fucks up your mood which could lead into your personality and then can make you a jaded asshole B. More often than not, nobody’s opinion truly matters at the end of the day(especially if we’re talking about appearances) C. Sometimes it’s ok to embrace change into your life and use that envy and trauma as fuel to become better and someone you’re proud of. It’s a slow process that even I fall short of myself sometimes. But what matters that we keep trying.
