When aliens arrive, first thing we should do is not to send a human to talk to them. We should send a robot equipped with Mic, speaker, display screen, and a projector to communicate with the aliens. Sending a human/humans to meet with the aliens might being misinterpreted as we are offering "food" to the aliens.
