Mystery Eggs - Mister Choc, Mole, Toto | Ashens 

Aw man, the Little Mole was part of my childhood. I had a children's book about Krtek (or Krteček) getting Denim overalls. I still remember it, even though it was more than 20 years ago. I might look for that book when I visit home...

The mole originated as a cartoon character from a famous Czech cartoon TV series which I used to watch growing up (in England, and I am English). Our family were given some video tapes of it by a Czech family friend and so I am one of the extremely few British young'uns to have watched it regularly growing up. I remember the cartoon being quite goofy and eccentric, and was centred almost entirely around visual elements, hence the language difference was not particularly important.

You have two colors to pick from blue and white. They then choose blue for the igloo.

At this point I'm wondering why there isn't a dedicated "mystery egg" intro.

"Possibly deadly rival" is how I'm going to introduce my friends from now on.

I used to watch Krteček while growing up. I have very fond memories of it. Ashens pronouncing Krteček really made my day and he did surprisingly a very good job.

I legit collect the Krtek toys. I dont live in Czech anymore but whenever I visit, I buy a couple. I also keep getting the Krteček that seems to be heiling

That first one reminded me of a toy I remember fondly from my bygone youth...the Kenner Spirograph. You had a bunch of these different-sized wheels and discs, as well as different-color ballpoint pens. I remember finding mine at a local white elephant sale (what it was called back in the day in the US...closer to a large junk sale now) back in the early 1970s for a buck; really enjoyed drawing with it. That blue plastic truck OTOH reminded me of something we'd get back then in a penny or nickel capsule dispenser :)

That small drawing toy at the beginning is called a Spirograph...I had a larger one and remember having so much fun with creating all different designs with it as a kid!

When I was a little kid, Krtek was extremely popular around here, but I mean it when I say a little kid since the popularity diminished after a few years. However, I still clearly remember how incredibly good, charming and sweet that show (?) was. I have several video casettes of Krtek and they're truly some nostalgic material. Much different than most old cartoons, despite having a cast of anthropomorphic characters, it's very down-to-Earth and realistic, teaches the kids about flora and fauna. He's called Krtek because "krtek" apparently literally means "mole" in Czech. It's "krtica" in Croatian so you can definitely see the obvious roots.

Man, Toto eggs have really gone down hill! The Chocolate and toys used to be awesome! I remember opening one up one day and out popped a little model of a Kubelwagen! A really nice little model too! For those not in the know, a Kubelwagen is a German staff car from ww2, they used em a lot in North Africa, if memory serves!

I had some "Lucky Boy" Bulgarian mystery eggs recently. I got a Spiderman with a grandpa face and a minion with no mouth...presumably so that he could not scream.

I bought a pack of those toto eggs from a local Poundstretcher recently. I got two blue and yellow powerboats, and one bobblehead elephant. In fetching fire-engine red, and puke green. Yes that was the colour it came out of the capsule, I did not vomit on it in disgust. Barely. Cost me a bloody quid that box did!

I tred the Lidl eggs once. The chocolate was kinda cheap and very sweet. The toys were made of cheap molded soft plastic. The mole is cool, has that kinda post atomic 70's eastern block style thing going on. It did aired on Dutch television.
