This is an update of a rebuild of a very old display model that had fallen into disrepair. The plane was originally made from wood possibly in the 70s perhaps for an exhibition.
hi rich must be the day for paint misshaps, today i was doing some hand painting on some figures, i was using a bottle of valleyo orange having used what i had on my pallet i reached out for the bottle and began to shake it while looking in the oposite direction, when i felt something dripping on my head and down my face, i had,nt put the lid on and now my workshop and myself was covered in orange paint lol.
My goodness... the old exploding paint can trick eh? Well now you get to sand it even smoother! Maybe you should switch to using a roller instead? Just a thought. I’ll get my coat. Hehe
Man that's unlucky, was it a old can? Maybe uv's made the plastic brittle. For white via rattle can I like Montana gold or Halfords, the home bargains white is horrible I would avoid that as it has a habit of producing first eyes. At least it's a wood model you can break out the big boy tools . 👍
It will all be good in the end I am sure it will be worth it. And who else will have that model? I highly doubt there is many out there it's worth the effort. It will be sweet 👍
