I remember dark wish. I loved that arc over the sentai counterpart because the actually had to earn legend mode with overcoming a major mistake where in magiranger it just gets handed to them because their rings sparkled
Thr Mystic force rangers alsk had to reverte the world back to normal to stop Imperious from making that evil wish wish when he captured Kenji and they had to ask three magical priest to help them get their powers🪄✨.
It's just more subtle in Magiranger. It is set up over the course of multiple episodes, with each ranger getting an episode dedicated to them where they overcome a trial in order to become a legend. Only after all of their rings sparked in their individual episodes, they do get their power-up in a two-parter episode.
@@semirionu I think the rangers having to learn not to take their powers for granted and having to deal with their mistake worked better than the individual trials they all had in the sentai, since the trials were completely unrelated to getting legend mode, making it look like they finished the quest by accident
I loved how the VHS's or DVD's would slap together some episodes and call it a movie. It's how I discovered Lost Galaxy and In Space before they aired in Australia.
My favorite episode is whichever one Madison kissed the frog to free Daggeron in. Instead of making their own story they did narrative gymnastics to justify her kissing a frog that she was initially scared of; hilariously terrible use of the Sentai footage. And the fact that the source material has them being married but they're trying to keep a kid friendly for Power Rangers made it even more hilarious in hindsight. Plus, we needed more Madison moments anyway
I really don't get why this 3-parter got hyped up as a made-for-TV movie. Especially given that no other Multi-parter before or after this one gets this treatment.(Unless you count the final 2 episodes of Super Megaforce (The Wrath and Legendary battle) being cobbled together into the "extended cut" of the Legendary battle.)
yeah the first part is really rushed mainly due to the fact that the legend mode arc in the sentai, magiranger, was 5 parts instead of 3 so the first part is a combination of 3 magiranger episodes so that"s why we get 3 monster battles in 1 episode.
I saw bits of that episode when I was 4, but it was a long time ago, I thought Flytrap was greyish brown, and the Rangers defeated them in the daytime.
I remember these Episodes in Power rangers Mystic force, some monster called Imperious whished the world was covered in the Darkness and the Mystic force rangers had no powers to use their and Koragg had to help them bring the world right in order to stop Imperious dark wish🦹🦹♂️.

I remember being really bummed back in the day because Jetix switched from ABC to Toon Disney, which I didn’t have but my grandparents did. So until around 2010 I had only seen the first of the three parts.
I remember back in 2007-2008 i used to own a 4 set DVD named the best of the power rangers, there are all the crossover/ long episode on it. Like with lost galaxies x lightspeed rescue, forever red. That was my first gateway into so many old pr teams.
Not forgotten by me, as I have the DVD. Granted, it's second-hand and most of the beginning of the last episode doesn't play, but I do actually have it, so it isn't entirely forgotten.
This three part episode was one the coolest episodes on I seen on Mystic force imperious stole Jinji the Magical cat that Daggeron uses for his laser lamp and Solar streak Megazord, also that unmorphed fight the mystic force rangers did was pretty amazing🪄🪄.
In Italy Dark Wish was Aired as a simple three part Episode. I don't know in other countries but if outside of US It reamined a simple Episode and not a movie, maybe Disney didn't believe in it
This actually the first episode that I watch of Mystic Force. If this was a movie, it would've been a five parted episode not three. Plus, do you know that Dark Wish DVD has 2 episodes of Ying Yang Yo in it?

Turbo wasn't really that bad. It fit with the campiness of MMPR at the time. The latest PR movie had potential but lacked the magic of the original series. And Green with evil will always be my favorite storyline.
I cannot remember the name of the episode at the moment but loved the one where koraag gets in nick's head and he challenges him to a fight. Also it may not be mystic force but i think spd must of went on from B squad to the best sqaud e squad ;)
This was my favorite set of episodes of PR in a long time. The Unmorphed fight scene in part 2 gave me MMPR vibes. The Legendary warrior mode is my favorite team power up since Lights of Orion in Lost Galaxy. All in all, Mystic Force is one of my favorite series of Power Rangers. I can't wait for their addition to the Lightning Collection.

Also there have been a few 3 parter episode story arcs after Mystic Force. They just don't say "Part 1, Part 2, Part 3" whatever. The Dino Rangers x Beast Morphers episodes were technically a 3 episode arc, but each episode had a different name.
Honestly I don't remember it to be advertised on tv as a movie(I'm not from any English speaking country), but I do remember it as a part of the series

I watch it when it originally aired and a few times on dvd what made it a “blockbuster” was that it originally aired like one long episode despite actually being 3 episodes in the season’s episode count and u are correct in power rangers fashion it was a big advertisement for legendary powers themed toys thry did release the legendary staff the rangers used it’s not as long as there’s was but a decent length though the other difference was the rotary phone like function the show prop had wasn’t available on the toy staff other then length and no rotary function it looked more show accurate then the cosmic fury morpher will look
technically speaking, even with the wish having been made to remove good magic (this was the actual wording of the wish) there would still have been enough various tech based teams who could have stepped in to deal with the monsters of the week from the villains of Mystic Force. Its only the rangers who have powers from a mystical connection that would have been removed from existence. So while yes the wish to remove all good magic was something of a major issue for the mystic force team, the Time Force or SPD rangers could have easily stepped in to correct the problem before the wish had been made. Though I know the reason why this didn't happen is because they likely couldn't afford any of the actors from either of those teams at the time this movie was being filmed. And for that matter this also served as a rather good lesson for the Mystic Force team not to solve everything using magic alone. It is also rather sad that Mystic Force did not have a power ranger team up episode during its season at all, the only character at all from SPD to show in the whole season was Piggy, who even then only interacted with Phineas. I'm not sure of all the happenings behind the scenes but I would hazard a guess that it was simply put a lack of money to bring in actors, also since this was the disney era I highly doubt that the Mouse would have even considered it important enough, or even considered that anybody would think about plot holes like this in the first place. All things considered Mystic Force ranks among my top 5 favorite seasons in the shows long history. Just to step off onto a tangent for but a moment however Beast Morphers had a 3 part episode, in the lead up to bringing back Goldar Maximus and the culmination of that fight. Idgaf how terrible it is, mystic force is special to me. It’s my most intact toy collection. I still have all the zords, part of the train command center, all the US morphers, multiple korags my favorite “ranger”, I had the lion staff and the mega zord sord that got lost to time but I have an idea where they are. The transforming dragon, I could go on. Makes me realize how spoiled I was as a kid having all these adult family members to buy me that stuff. Reminds me of nonsense stuff from the time like monster house, ed edd, eddy aliens, and one of the best Christmas’s ever, very special to me.
I watched a couple of episodes of Power Rangers Mystic Force, but not enough episodes to really name a favorite episode. But I did watch the 3 part Dark Wish event,...it wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I give it 3 stars and 2 mehs.
