I love how the "Holy shit, we messed up" vibe in the art works escalates as you go through the cards. Starts small with the LVL 1 guy and then gets huge with Myutant Cry
I've always felt like Myutant were the successor of the Koa'ki meiru, not because of their lab theme, but because they are... Very experimented on. You can do a lot of testing with these guys
Did you ever do a video for Solfalchord? Also thanks for doing these videos! As a Returning player, your archetype videos have been my favorite source to look to. It's accessible and makes discovering and studying cards so easy! :) I appreciate what you and your team does. Genuinely! 🙌
FINALLY I was just talking with my custom card buddies on how to fix myutants and then I see this, absolute blessing from the GoldenNovaLord himself, also im very eager to see how he ties myutants into the storyline!
Nice, Custom Cards are really fun. I've been kinda playing in my head a Pendulum Archetype that wants to be in the Extra Monster Zone. Sort of acting like Deck Masters with them gaining effects when there. I also gave them an equip spell that would treat them like they were in the extra monster zone.
@@LIlmarmardebest23 definitely, for whatever reason discord isn't sending me notifications so i just discovered shadowhunter sent me a request. it's not a fully fleshed out idea tho, i just have the card names, stat lines, and a basic idea of how i want them to function mechanically
@Golden Nova One thing I like about the Myutants is that outside of their $3 fusion, the rest of the deck is only about $10-15 at most. Question is...I'm beta testing a few PUNK builds now that they are out and...pure PUNK is neat, but Kozmo PUNK has been a lot of fun...albeit an interesting mix. Do you think Myutants could meld with PUNK?
I feel like Moray of Greed may be interesting to experiment with these guys. Shuffle away some of your extra little guys and draw 3 cards to help gain other cards you may need to banish into your hand. Pot of Acquisitiveness and/or Burial From Another Dimension to recycle some of your banished cards in case you'd want to get some extra mileage out of them.
The one thing is that everyone is either hating on mist for not doing much, but think about this card with an effect extender hell even all three if you are playing against a deck that uses a shite ton of traps. *cough* Eldlich *cough* .
I don't understand the hate either,..Mist is really good at giving advantage against Trap decks,.I really loved baiting an attack especially against trap burn decks. Plus, if you're worried of you little Myutant getting imperm, Mist can actually save them from being targeted.
I’ve been playing myutants. Myutant blast is great first you use it to just banish your opponents boss monster and for the next turn you have a free banish to fuel for your effects. Also I mainly use clash for that negate effect arsenal is very reliable but it still doesn’t negate the effect so clash covers with some added protection and distribution
Yea but sometimes it’s hard to justify adding blast as it’s kinda sacky at times. It would’ve been A LOT better if it was a continuous spell like the rest of deck.
@@joeblack2809 just don’t play to many copies. But there are a lot of times myutant clash has saved me, thanks to its non target banish. And it can be used to turn mist into something more useful, or you can use it just to send a level 8 to the grave, and summon a level 8 so you can add materials to fuse into ultmius.
@@Chaos706 true but also remember that to use blasts effect it has to send the lvl 8 to the grave if for example macro, d fissure, d shifter, or ariseheart were on the field and it gets banished blast won’t activate. You’ll just lose two cards 😂.
Abbrevation and Searches ST-46 = Spell Trap M-05 = Monster GB-88 = Banish? (I conspire that Konami totally nerfed GB from its inception because the G supposed to search or special summon in GY, I really feel they erratad the idea and turn the card to be more realiant to Evo Lab.)
Here's a link to a video I did about them! It's KIND of like an Explained video, and it's one of my favorite early videos. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tt2m-x12Qts.html
tcg exclusive archetypes are def coming out too fast. Myutants had a few weeks and now it feels like they're dead even with the bach card. beetroopers had people excited but to hear it, the second wave of support wasn't all that good and now there's going to be another new thing in bach so the bees feel like they're already forgotten. I wish we could have like the full wave in one set but maybe a new archetype every other set, so we at least had some time to breathe.
Tcg exclusive archetypes are trash usually till they make support for it way later and it usually goes to ocg first which is even more sad. I still remember spyral being worthless and boom double helix fixed it
@@rd9669 Nahh dude, I kinda feel like TCG archetypes are intended to be bad they're definitely innovative or just one step ahead to being broken (Spyrals). They're all meant to be promising but they don't want to overboard just like what they did on the past e.g. Burning Abyss, Dangers which made a mess on OCG on their release. TCG is supposed to be under OCG and OCG hated if TCG made a card/cards that are out of control.
@@naknampucha5236ironic looking back. Most TCG Exclusives aren't even PLAYABLE, with Beetrooper or Gold Pride Punk being the best since B.A., an ironic thought, given just how many sets have and how much time has passed since then.
