I keep spreading the word, but it still amazes me that you don't have at least 100k subs. Thank you for educating us in such an easy to comprehend manner.
It doesn't happen overnight. ...... something about having to do the work and keep doing it. I appreciate your expectation. Hoping we get there as well. Thanks.
I’ve been taking NAC and glycine for about three weeks. Sleep is improving. Pain levels less. Mainly I am more motivated and able to do things. I think it’s curing long covid and mast cell disregulation. Overall, I’d say that I am doing better. I am much less depressed.
@@genegarneau3822what really helped my long covid is amino acids, (been carnivore for about a year still needed more amino acid), magnesium, multivitamin, digestive enzymes, zinc, vitamin C, 5k D3, mk7, NAC, iodine, MSM. NAC alone didn't really help so you're definitely deficient in other nutrients if you have long covid. I also don't consume carbs which helped a LOT. After four months of zero energy and low grade covid symptoms I'm now so much better, and back to being able to function. I also did a parasite cleanse which really took me back to my pre covid days. Watch Dr. Darren Schmidt for a more comprehensive understanding of how parasites negatively affects your health. Best regards.
@@stephenkearns6461 Yes, of course. Just be careful that you use a reputable supplier as there are con artists that have NO NAC in their product. I take 1 gram of BOTH NAC and Glycine every morning and it helps my breathing. The Glycine enhances the NAC, which tends to open the blood vessels to enable more oxygen carrying capacity. The information contained in this Y.T. is old and the "ban" was removed long ago.
Look into mold toxicity. I had severe cvid in march 2020 and got not medical help, while helping the community ended up very damaged in the organs, but determined it was mold and heavy metals too. No shots, not a fool. I was on this but nowhere near enough and needed more. The mast cell issue was largely from mold.
There are many. You just have to have a personal fortune to pay for that kind of attention.i don’t blame them as they have to be compensated but for the average smoe there is no access other than the vids and experimenting in one’s self.
What a great exposition!! So technical but not so difficult to follow. Thank you so much, I'm a mom looking for reasonable answers for the health of my child who's got autism. Many blessings from Ecuador!
I live in Canada and bought NAC from a Canadian distributor, which sent it to me in regular mail, arrived in my mail box four days from the time I clicked the purchase in my shopping cart. The same web site has NAC from eight different brand names. I am not going to name the web site because maybe RU-vid won't like me to do that. But if you google you could find it.
I have been dealing with massive stress, it definitely helps with stress and it has done something to my mind. I don't know why but i feel super motivated to do so many things and i can think and concentrate so much better. And i have more energy and motivated to do things with chronic pain
I just started taking it and already feel more motivated mentally to do things and my breathing feels easier (I have diagnosed m.e and fibromyalgia) Glad to hear it's helping you
Awesome I burnt out stress wise but I need something to be able to cope better..vitmin b complex does help somewhat but anything extra is worth trying..how long did it take for you to know if it was helping?
@@Padraigp Consider: Sometimes things take time to be noticeable. And you have to consider dosage amounts and how often. Some people have noticeable results when adding some Glycine during each day. Not expensive.. so worth a try. Also, Google Taurine. It has helped a lot of people. 1,000- 2,000 - 3,000 mg per day. Start small. Before breakfast. Give it a week and then add another one before bed. Google the individuals who are talking about it.
I just got a bottle on Amazon. Also just got a cheap bottle from Walmart. 2 days and I've noticed a huge difference with a head and chest cold, that I'm usually sick with for 3 weeks.
Great information as usual. I've learned so much from you on the information side and your wife on the cooking side that I have to watch you whenever a new video comes up.. Thanks much
@@DrKarlGoldkamp-KetoNaturopath thank you for pointing out the abstracts text! Did you have a video showing reasons and differences for taking glutathione vs nac? Thank you
Amazing I'm amazed by how chemicals can affect us. Especially the mind. I was given toxic antibiotics actually banned except in extreme nessesitiy in europe.flouraquinalones. I took 2 tabs and had a month of severe anxiety and night terrors. I had always thought people with mental health just thought badly and didn't have good control of theur thoughts... but that opened my eyes to how chemicals affect our mind. You can know rationally there is nothing to be anxious about and yet feel like a tiger is creeping behind you all the time. Even lack of sleep ive had hallucinations. It's amazing and fascinating.
@marias6583 ah it was a long time ago. I did taje b1 but had side effects so I took b complex instead which worked well. Good to know though thank you. 😊
In light of impending restrictions on access to this compound maybe you could make a video discussing alternatives, or ways to increase glutathione levels either through diet or supplementation? I love your videos! I'm really glad I found you.
Exercise really increases the body's levels, I know that much. I believe cruciferous veg as well, though exercise & good sleep/melatonin levels- along w/detoxing the body from heavy metals & crappy food - are superior to those even. Great idea for another post!
@@jeffm5271 Thank you! Do you have a recommendation for a good keto approved whey isolate glutathione that does not raise blood sugar!I appreciate your help!
May be update on this, as FDA has moved closer to being lenient on their earlier position; good news. (Dr Seheult explained.) Currently NAC is available.
What DNA analysis company did you use for the genetic info? Did you make those charts or is it broken down like that in the analysis? So much easier to read.
Amazing video, you are awesome for helping others. I am your subscriber for only about a week or so but I would definitely get you more subscribers as ppl like you should be APPRECIATED.......Well done!!!!
I just find it in a local health food store, but for the past year they can’t keep it on the shelves. It’s not very expensive either. On Amazon it’s about 3x price right now.
Interesting...I have a bottle of NAC for my supplement stack I only tried once. Something made me feel weird so I put the brakes on everything until I could figure out what it was. I'm always looking for that supplement game changer but so far the only things I can tell are doing something is super dark chocolate and magnesium.
Amazing Video. Thank you! Regarding hyperhomocysteine level, it has been difficult for me to bring it down from 15.9 umol/l to to 10.0umol/l. I achieved this only by taking daily 1mg Metylfolate, (5-MTHF) 1mg Vitamin B12 (Metylcobalamin), 50mg Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxalphosphate) and 2g of Betaine (Trimethylglycine).
@@DrKarlGoldkamp-KetoNaturopath So do I. I guess here in Austria it might be not that easy to get snps analyzed. Anyway I will ask my physician or finding a Lab that does determiniert snps.interestingly my physician does know almost nothing about the effect of high homocysteine eg. on artherosclerosis, increased heart failaire risk, dementia etc.
Here we go think you have been censored by big teck! Have to say I trust them less than the gov.holy crap we need to get this under control of course the the government won't do anything about it . Why it works in there favor!!!
I use NAC as a medicine (500mg once) and sometimes with high dose vitamin c, when ever I feel sick in my stomach, and within few hours my stomach goes back to normal.
So appreciate your content and delivery, dear doctor! Is there a functional medicine doctor you would recommend for my best friend? She has a bipolar/schizo affective diagnosis. Tapered off all her meds in 16 months using Hardy's DEN but she has been suffering with severe medication withdrawal insomnia. Tried melatonin and CBD but the only thing that will get her sleeping thus far is xanax. Your wise counsel would be most appreciated! We are in NC
@@kellyneumann8234 Funny you ask that. I just had sent an email out to our wellevate group on that specifically. there's a lot of out of stock but still available. NAC, liposomal-g, and acetyl-g. As to which one I find that usually is about the context, or the reason for taking it. The video after next I go into that specifically. Personally I use primarily NAC and the brands for the that a Pure encapsulation, vital nutrients, Designs for health, Thorne. The rest I leave for the video.
@@kellyneumann8234 Somehow my response to your question never was posted. Odd. Anyway, for the NAC (if the company isn't out of stock) we use Pure Encasulation, Vital Nutrients, Designs for Health, Thorne, There are plenty of good companies to choose from on Wellevate (link to the is in the description) and for liposomal Glutathione, and PE, Designs for Health, Quick Silver, Strategene, Setria.
@@ahart777 Ah that's interesting. Had thought to look. Amazon made such a big 'headline news' about them not offering it. I would say that means the FDA is not as vigilant or as has no intent at this point.
Amazon also steals $90 a month maternity leave and medical leave money from their employees. As if Amazon needs the money. Bozo should stop playing with rocket ships and pay ppl a living wage & keep their employees safe.
Would taking Astaxanthin or N-Acetyl Cysteine allow for more endogenous glutathione being available to the body than if one takes liposomal glutathione and/or S-Acetyl Glutathione [which might reduce the body's own production and or the body's ability to produce glutathione]? Which is more effective at boosting glutathione levels Astaxanthin or NAC? Is Astaxanthin not more natural than NAC?
If they allow NAC in the US during CoVid, there would likely be fewer deaths. You cant' have that. The US has succeeded in having more people die of CoVid than almost any other country including third world countries. I am in Europe. In Europe, we allow things that help prevent and cure CoVid so NAC is widespread here.
It's good to hear that soldiers in Iraq treated with NAC benefitted after traumatic brain injury, but it seems disturbing that the soldiers were used in a medical experiment with half of them receiving nothing for comparison.
They've been (medically) experimenting with soldiers for at least a century if not longer. One of the most disturbing ones is the one with lsd, the project is called mk-ultra.
I had terrible brain fog I ate coconut oil 1-2T vitamin C 5T or more (2-1/2oz) and some salt water helped me. Your brain is made up of it. Killed all the yeast and toxins. Chaga mushrooms helped too for a while until the fungus grew in me.
I don't know if you can enlarge your findings at all.. but I can't even see them on the phone screen. Perhaps if I had a computer I might be able to see them? By the way great information thank you!
Take a screen shot. After the video, look in your phone gallery. You will find the screen shot in "Screen shots". U can enlarge it there and read comfortably. 😊
Have you helped any severely autistic children? I KNOW my childs lack of language development has to do with mitchondrial dysfunction. We have supplemented with a complete AA supplement, liposomal glutathione and NAC, however there has been no progress. He had both MTHF mutations....what would you suggest for him or how can we get in touch with you to find a more complete direction for him. He visually stims ALL day long and we know this is because his mitochondria stuggle to function....we are at a loss.
Carrie, I no longer work with Austic children. There are NO 1 size fits all solution for autism, however there are many ways to find improvement on a per child basis. Labs are necessary on many levels, glucose / insulin data in the vary least, cgm readings, not only MTHFR but a basic Genome review is important to look at pathways not just a specific SNP. The data is extremely important to reveal a context within which a treatment and begin. so relative to NAC, or glutatione, yes it is important, but it is not the only thing. There are many people who specialize in autism and metabolic health. Find someone close to you. I don't know where you are in the world but if you are in the US then contact the state Naturopathic organization and find someone who works with autistic children. That's a lot you can do.
Zoe I just sent this out in our weekly email to the people who are on our wellevate list. I find it is just a better place to cover the specific questions. Feel free to sign up. There's No cost and it is a better place, in some aspects to communicate with people. I get a lot of feed back which is good.
Testing is certainly helpful. That was my message as well. I began and ended the video with the story of the person that I had prescribed it for that received no benefit so gave it to his schizophrenic wife who had a remarkable transformation.
@@DrKarlGoldkamp-KetoNaturopath I’ll see if NAC is even available here in Canada. Difficult to get things here; gov’t restricts everything. Even treatment in hospitals for C***d is substandard; steroids only which worsens immune system. Backwards. 🙄
I have a strong family history of addiction although I don’t suffer from any other than maybe a food addiction and I also have diabetes in remission. I am one of three children and we all have diabetes type 2 and we are child of 2 diabetics. I also had 4 diabetic grandparents, although one did control it by diet. I also had slightly elevated neutrophils at my last bloodwork. I also suffer from anxiety and ptsd.I think that NAC should be something I should look in to. How would I be able to acquire the supplement since Amazon pulled it?
Stephanie, In the description of his video there's a link to Wellevate pharmacy. I am not 'brand loyal' but recommend a few brands. On Wellevate there is a huge selection that previously was only available to health practitioners but is now open to the public. @@stephaniesimmons0723 It may well. One thing doesn't the same thing in every one. But to reverse your statement, those who are low in glutathione would be, among other things, hypervigilant and anxious. It's a safe thing to try because it serves so many functions and reduces oxidative stress.
@@DrKarlGoldkamp-KetoNaturopathwould the standard 600mg on many nac supps be the best starting point? Ive heard it synthesizes best with glycine and trace minerals both of which im taking

Dr in "Keto Naturopath", yes, you should be trusted... NAC is great, but there are much more real science behind it use in different syndroms. By the way what the heck is "Keto Naturopath"!??
All forms of NAC are 'sour' in that they will cause stomach burn (aka heartburn) when taken at higher doses than you can tolerate. Consider taking smaller doses or with food or just stopping for a while to let your stomach rest and resume at a smaller dose.

It is incredibly frustrating working with a conventional therapist. Sorry, you have to go through this. I don't know where you live or in what country but there are other practitioners that do have other perspectives. At the very least check locally for 'functional medicine practitioners in your area. Good question. In a way the can appear to be redundant, but not really. Yes you can an I certainly do. Even though NAC is a precursor to glutathione it also has it's own functions one of them being a antimucolytic. Glutathione does not to that it is a strong antiviral and antioxidant.
hello - i have a 5 yo son who is really suffering with MIS-C since covid almost a year ago. he is suffering with allergic reactions since covid - hives etc .. I would like to give him some to see if it will help but read about NAC increasing histamines.. i’m worried it maybe worsen his hives / reaction ( we don’t quiet understand besides a few foods what it is causing ) ? .. I would like to know your thoughts on this and if you can give guidance. I am not sure if you offer counseling (for child specifically) via video call ? thank you kindly
You should be working with a paediatrician who specializes in allergies. NAC would probably help but it is better to go deeper to find out what, as best as possible, is causing the situation.
consider mast cell activation syndrome - I got that with severe cvd march 2020, and it's been awful. No shots thank God, which would be worse..... also look into his gut health with a local naturopath. You really need 1 on 1 help & guidance. Also, have work, home & school assessed for mold. And antibiotics are mold :( I learned the hard way
I took it as a 6 year-old as part of a study on its effectiveness in treating certain symptoms of Autism (I have HFA). I made increadible, rapid progress in all areas from irritability, social problems, aggression, inattention, etc. Im 21 now and am completely functional in every way. Did my time on NAC change my fate, who knows. However unlikely/likely this maybe doesnt really matter because it worked and has been shown to work greatly, in many additional studies.
@@jessicasorsby7230 By HFA I mean "High Functioning Autism" although I have had a psychologist say that I am moreso Asbergers, but I digress. No I was never non-verbal. I hit developemental milestones unusually early, and was labled high ability in elementary. However, I had some major problems eith irritability, fine motor-skills (couldn't tie shoes until 2nd grade, struggling until 8th), extremely limited interests, and very poor social skills. After being on NAC for a summer, I started 2nd grade in a way that made it seem as if I had "outgrown" my condition. Still there were some issues to resolve but I was no longer even remotely struggling with any symptom of Autism.
