Mostlikely to be use as a synchro material instead though specially if he gets his own Glow-up bulb like Synchron did with Jet Synchron and Revolution Synchron, Mirror Resonator could be but that card needs an opponent, if he doesn't get one, I'll just use Revolution or Glow-up bulb instead but that those card isn't searchable in a resonator deck

It's a decent board wipe, but there's always Tyrant to blow up the entire field + backrow but he's a walking negate magnet so yeh, I'll take the Scar-Red

the mill effect of archfiend is mainly so you have crimson resonator in grave to make sure that when you summon red rising dragon you can get the other resonators on board
Yup always mill crimson with bone arch fiend from the hand or deck, summon red rising dragon, bring back crimson, get 2 more resonators with crimsons effect, make any level 12, then win the game

When I first saw this support and looked at Bone Archfiend's Effect, I almost imediately thought of a combo, it goes like this: - Summon Soul Resonator and use it's effect to search Bone Archfiend - Use Bone Archfiend's effect by Sending a Card to the GY to Special summon it - Use it's Other effect to change Soul Resonator to Level 2, or Himself to 3 by Sending Crimson Resonator from the Deck (or the hand, if you prefer) - Summon Red Rising Dragon using Soul Resonator and Bone Archfiend and then use it's effect to BRING BACK Crimson Resonator You decide what to do next
If you already have Crimson Res. in hand (along with a any LV 4 monster that doesn't use up your Normal Summon), you can go like this: ●Summon Crimson Res. by its eff. & other material ●Summon Red Rising, revive Crimson Res. ●Crimson Res. Bone Archfiend can also be used in Infernity to send Sage from the deck to the GY, and with it pitching any card in hand to summon itself will just make things easier for the deck.
Missed the fact that Bone Archfiend can send any Resonator to grave for Red Rising Dragon to summon without its effect negated. That means you can summon Crimson Resonator and summon 2 more Resonators from deck and resolve their effects. These three cards create wild and ridiculous combo potential because any time you summon Crimson means you'll end on at least Supernova and change. Just think about that. A Resonator searching for a non tuner was the main issue with the deck and now that's resolved.
And now the deck has 1.5 card combo into Red Supernova Dragon. (YEAAAAAAAH!!) The only thing is, it needs the normal summon... (SO?!) Well... You summon Soul Resonator, search the Bone, Bone sends a card from hand to GY to summon itself, foolish a Crimson, lower his level to 3. That's 3+3=6, quick maths! Synchro into Red Rising Dragon, revive the Crimson you sent with Bone, Crimson effect to summon 2 TUNAS. 6+2+(1+3) or (2+2) = 12, Red Supernova... And then you have the remaining 3 cards to play the rest of the turn, not bad
Supernova is already consistent for the deck, but the new support doesn't solve its big issue. Reaching the boss in 5 or less summons to avoid nibiru. It's that last one, everytime.

@@ekrymeta don’t think this will ever happen sadly. To synchro you already need 2 monsters to make the 3rd. If you have red rising it brings the 4th, so even min you will hit 5 summons. If only supernova can banish himself first turn to avoid nibiru.
@@lifedeather Supernova can avoid nibiru as long as it hits the board and can resolve without impermanence. What we need is a synchro that can protect against nibiru on summon 5 or float the board back into your original play. This RDA retrain can at least make another Synchro if you preemptively do so with it in mind, but recovering the resonators takes a very specific opening hand.
i like soul resonator and bone archfiend combo, since they basically allow you to mill a crimson resonator and then synchro red rising dragon which then will bring back the crimson resonator for it to use it effects
I personally enjoy this deck. I just hope Red Supernova is in the structure deck. Regardless, I’ll probably try a structure deck challenge at a locals with it.
@@runningoncylinders3829 honestly, at least Thought Ruler *looks* like a proper Archfiend. They really should make a proper fiend Archfiend archtype that ties in tuners so we can use the Archfiend synchros.
They really need something to make them go plus. Like ariane and new archfiend thing makes you discard a card and discard resonator search fiend card doesn't help that much since it's -1 as well. Something like crusadia testament would be awesome like you draw one card for each dark synchro you summoned his turn at the end phase like draw 3 but at the end phase possibly ht or next turn plays
Don't forget synchro call let's you synchro summon on your opponent's turn, so you can nuke your opponent with scar red dragon archfiend and get a body on the board during their turn.

Its interesting seeing decks that you expected Konami to ignore get support, some better than others. Red Dragon Archfiend can be playable just requires knowledge on all Dark Dragon Synchros. I just hope Konami looks at the rest of the low tier decks and see what to do with them.

"that mentions it" means the name of that monster, in this case is the monster who's name is "red dragon archfiend" or have in their description that specific name. Bane have "monster" after "red dragon archfiend", which means it doesn't specify it.
It’s absolutely annoying that Ruddy Rose Dragon doesn’t make the Special Summoning of Black Rose Dragon count as Synchro Summoning, like Scar-Red Dragon Archfiend or Accel Synchro Stardust Dragon.
I actually found a loophole around bringing Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss out on the field without having Red Dragon Archfiend. Step 1: Synchro Summon any level 8 DARK Monster [In this case, I used Colossal Fighter for the example] Step 2: Summon any level 1 Tuner you want to use on the field. [I chose Unknown Synchron, since I put it in a Stardust Dragon deck.] Step 3: Summon Influence Dragon. Then, activate it's effect. Step 4: Target your level 8 DARK Synchro Monster, and it will become Dragon type. Step 5: Tune your level 1 Tuner with your now Dragon type Level 8 Synchro, and *BOOM!* There you have it!
Not only that, the new scar red doesn't have restriction beside you need non tuner dark. Caligo claw crow is considered an extender for synchron and it's dark lvl 3. So you could accel synchron + caligo into the new scar red. And extend further to make quasar.

As someone who avidly plays Resonators/RDA, these don't do much for the deck except for Soul. Bringing out RDA isn't the issue; needs more interruptions or different end bosses other than Supernova or King Calamity

I love that we're getting more Red Dragon Archfiend support but Scar Red kinda annoys me. Firstly, the fact that it requires DARK monsters sucks because it means that Red Warg can't be used, and I have no clue why this restriction exists. Secondly the fact that it floats is super awesome, but I wish it didn't only float into the original Red Dragon Archfiend, because it's effect is not as good as the other two and my Red Dragon Archfiend deck is looking low on extra deck space. I love Bone Archfiend though because it recurs from grave.
I think this might take the place of chaos ruler in dragon link as a synchro 8 that will summon itself back, could be used to bring out hot red dragon arch fiend abyss
You mean chaos ruler? There is no replacement for that guy, especially not when it costs 2 ED slots to make full use of him in a deck that's already tight on those.

ong konami should make a bit more of infernity supports, spoon fed most of 5ds characters, except ancient fairy dragon, a level 10 inferenity void dragon would suffice

Synch og RDA with red Resonator for RDA Bane. 4 cards in hand and retained your normal summon

og Red Demon's Dragon was dead in decks as soon as Arc-V's version came out great there's more support maybe now it won't be by your turn 2 a dead deck cos you ran out of steam
I never thought he needed more support because I thought we got enough but apparently there's going to be a while structure deck about him. Good thing to know we should expect a lot more new cards though.

As much as I love red dragon Orange flame it is one of my favorite sign of dragons I'm OK with destruction that me personally we really don't need it they need to just give us the cards and that's it I have a feeling we probably will get it as a structure deck
