Thanks. The whole idea for this channel came when I was looking for YT videos to help me DM prep for a D&D Mod I was going to run.

I am not an English Major, but it is interesting to learn about Old English, history, etc. Thanks. :-) Also, I was trying to be funny. Most of my videos probably seem humorless (and maybe to serious?). Also,, sounds like your Players had an interesting time in the N1 Mod.

@@RPGmodsFan They interrogated and beat him to death, without the full info that they could have gotten out of him. It was the right call really, as I run Meepo a little different to most. He is a conniving little rat. Who waits until the numbers are in his favour, will turn them in to Goblins to save his own hide. Flees, locks doors and raises H.E.L.L to put as many bodies between him and murder-happy PC'S as possible. It was the second time I'd run him. The first time cost 2 lives, from the party. Just NPC's, but still.

@@mathewstoker2131 That is a good way to run Meepo. My PCs grew up with AD&D (1E) and to them Kobolds = evil creatures. They did not give Meepo much of a chance to talk.

@@RPGmodsFan Yup, we'll see how they go with some human foes. Even after they realise, their adversaries are not truly in control of their actions.

@@RPGmodsFan We are a couple of sessions in now. The group have broken the cults hold on a handful of people. Including the Sherrif and his lead deputy. They have identified, Ramne (7th level Wizard) and Alan Clayborne (4th level Ranger) as allies outside of the cults influence. The Mayor and his bodyguard have remained fortified, inside of the Mayoral estate. The information they have discovered has told them, the cult leader is a Naga. Several of the heroic characters in the area, (including Zakarias Ormond) had dispatched a Naga; claiming the name Explicitica Defilus in the past. I had Ramne as a member of the Arcane Order, he was away in the former Imperial Capital. Which is weeks away and he was there for months, arriving back within the last fortnight. He couldn't be sure, that his efforts wouldn't, just identify his presence and attempts. Which would've gotten him killed. The group are strategically, dismantling the cult. Outlying areas recaptured and small groups of Troglodytes killed. Their next move is to take down the Golden Grain and hopefully rescue Mitre (An intelligent Expert 4), who accompanied them here to Orlane and disappeared after their first night. They are also trying to rescue an Acolyte of Merrika, who was seeking knowledge of another clergywoman and family member. She went to the temple on the first night in town. They have been active here for 3 days, while trying to keep their movements as clandestine as possible. I have the Naga, as Lich-like. It has a phylactery type device, which allows its resurrections. I'm thinking of making it the Jade figure, in Abramo's possession, or a heart shaped emerald, the size of a human palm. Hidden inside; the statue in the basement, of the Golden Grain Inn. So valuable, they won't be able to bring themselves to just destroy it. Even if they did destroy it, they will still need to find and kill her. I've changed the Dungeon too. It's now a 3-step ziggurat, hidden deep in the swamp. Much more befitting of my godly status, than a muddy hole in the ground. If they break the cult from the Temple in town; slay the Troglodyte leadership and kill the Naga, then they've won. If they don't destroy, or unbind her phylactery. Oooh, ho, ho. She'll be pissed and targeting revenge against them, when she reforms. A recurring villain, for later.
