So much work with wires and cutting and all that jazz. Why not just g old school like we did back in the day with a spark plug tapped into the exhaust wired it to a switch and power supply and wala u got flames ... Plus it was just one wire verses all those wires u showed 😂
Most 2 step systems will cut either fuel or ignition spark at an rpm where peak tq is. Fuel cut is the safer option, won’t raise egts that high but you won’t get the gunshots. If I were you I’d try raising that rev limit for 2 step especially with a slightly bigger turbo then 1.8t platform. For reference most 2 step for 1.8t ko3s are around 3500-4100 rpm!
Good info thanks! This 1 is just ignition cut so it goes way rich when you 2 step. I'm going to need to figure the ideal rpms out for sure so ill try those that you listed! thanks bro
Probably but you'd have to be in neutral and use the brake pedal switch oooorrr you could wire in like a 3 - 5v momentary switch that you could press by hand i guess. the car might not like it if its stock though. it thinks its misfiring sometimes
2.0 vs 2.0 let's link somthing up and get it. I've been watching your videos for quite some time I'm impressed as I'm sure you would be of mine. Hit me up if you'd interested
