I am one of your BIGGEST FANS! I love this presentation, It gave me the REAL Run Down, of NAB 2023. I have been in this business for over 30 Years and speaking from this position of Tech and a true lover of technology and innovation, You are right on point with your knowledge and wisdom. Thank you again Brandon for this precise ( Got to the Point ) overview. . . Love it!

dude, that U5 controller looked insane. Windows 10 PC with an ultra wide touch screen and tons of stream deck styled buttons? Insane!! Did they mention when it was coming out // how much it would be?

Great overview! We're getting to the point there's great and reliable options for most applications, from high end to the more affordable and compact. Seems to be more acceptance of the well established big brands and those that fill an important niche / become great innovators in a particular area - outside of huge productions. We still have to make some obvious and painful compromises, but it's a lot better than it was.

Been loving the content, your ideas are inspiring! I would love to see the lighting and led wall content you mentioned; seeing your perspective and creative work would be amazing. Also, regarding the video you showed about you building your own version of the U5 Pro in the past, I am having a hard time finding it; what was it called?

Hi sir, is the purpose of the thunderbolt Sonet enclosure with Blackmagic Decklink card connected to the Propresenter is for the ProPresenter to get 4 outputs? Compared to just an HDMI to Sdi micro converter? Do lower 3rds with alpha channels need to use two SDI signals so the 1 channel HDMI-SDI micro converter 1 output wouldn’t work? Thank you 😊🙏

You are correct on both counts. A couple different ways to do lower thirds but here I am using the key and fill method so I need to send a key signal to the atem and a fill signal to the atem so I need at least 2 feeds for that. I could also do lower thirds on chroma key (green screen) and just use one signal instead. I could use the media pool instead in the atem itself. Lots of options but with my particular setup and workflow with pro presenter you are spot on.

I noticed you are using pull out rack monitor in your flight pack - what brand / model is that?

Question, if you’re Constellation tops out at 1080p at 60 why require a multi view that is 4K?
@liveproductionmastery
@liveproductionmastery Год назад
Good question. When you loop the multi view back into the switcher (to get a MV in a MV) then you loose quality of that smaller multi view b/c your 1080p multi view is now 1/4 of your 1080 screen. But if you run it into a 4K MV instead of looping through the switcher then each of your quadrants is around 1080p so you arn’t really loosing resolution of each source. If you blow it up on a big screen like 43”inches + then it becomes very noticeable 1080p vs 720p vs 4K
