Great deck tech! Curious about Portal Mage...it seems cool but I often hold it in my hand for multiple rounds waiting for a good opportunity to play it. What have you seen work well?

Barrin master wizard has some spicy new card synergies with navigation orb. You can grab two gate one is heap gate. You can make a treasure for three mana now. So you can get around the sac a permanent ability. It is kind like drownyard temple but a bit more tutorable. I would love more deck tech around Barrin

Master of waves makes elementals, not illusions. I dig the combos though, thinking about making one. Cool synergies but people always get mad playing against decks like these lolll

Uh... wait, I'm not sure what you mean with the Champion of Wits. You say when it comes out you'd draw 4, discard 2, but why? You get double triggers, so you'd draw equal to its power, then discard 2, then you'd draw equal to its power and discard 2 AGAIN. So that's draw 4, discard 4. It's all one big EtB trigger, you don't just do one part then ignore the other part...?

Hey Galvonetta! Good catch, you’re absolutely right. I think where the confusion sets in is that there are other cards that have an additional cost to cast being to discard cards. So, if it were worded like that, the additional cost of discarding 2 cards does not get doubled, but the draw does. But Champion of Wits is not worded like that, so you are correct: doubling its ETB will make you discard twice, not just once. Good catch, and glad we could clear the confusion up! - Peter
