The Nabana no Sato Illumination is an event held at Nabana no Sato in Kuwana City, Mie Prefecture, and is gaining popularity as one of the biggest illuminations in Japan. It is an event held since 2004 and this year marks its 20th anniversary. The theme for 2023-2024 is “Golden Pyramid,” and new lighting set in the pyramids of Egypt will be staged with dynamic light and sound!
Its beauty is such that it was awarded first place in the "Lighting Category" of the "Best Night Views You'll Ever Visit", selected by professionals at the National Night View Awards for three years in a row!
🔸This illumination will be held from Saturday, October 21, 2023, to Sunday, June 2, 2024!
🔸In autumn the leaves are illuminated and in spring the cherry blossoms and tulips are illuminated, so you can enjoy the beautiful scenery along with the illuminations.
🔸Advance purchase of tickets for specific dates from December 23rd to 25th is required!

Lighting hours are from around 5pm until the end of the day.
🔸Lighting hours change depending on sunset time, and business hours differ on weekdays and holidays, so please check the business hours calendar on the official website before going.

The entrance fee during the lighting period is 2,500 yen for adults and elementary school students (free for children under elementary school age)
🔸The 2,500 yen fee includes a 1,000 yen coupon that can be used inside Nabana no Sato and at souvenir shops and restaurants inside the park.
